I'm not crazy about the isolated location across from the Mission Valley library and the IKEA, but otherwise, I don't really have any complaints about this place. The menu seems very simple and streamlined, which cuts down on confusion and hesitation when ordering. I got the pollo asada tacos and made it a combo. The food itself was outstanding. Like the menu, the tacos were just chicken and a generous heaping of guacamole on top. Had breakfast here with hubs after church. Restaurant is located near IHOP and Coldstone Creamery and was moderately busy as we arrived. They featured a variety of sports channels and had a bar where you could sit and watch said channels and enjoy an adult beverage. We walked in and ordered our food with the cashier and within 10 minutes our food was delivered to our table. I ordered chorizo and egg scramble with side of potatoes, refried beans and corn tortillas. Food was quite hot and all tasted great. Beans were quite good, creamy and fresh tasting. Good ratio of chorizo to egg scramble and plenty leftover to take home. Hubs had the steak and egg breakfast burrito and said it was absolutely delicious. We will be back! read more

A new favorite place to go to for mexican food. Been here three times now with the food tasting great every time. Carnitas tacos, California burrito and rolled tacos taste as you'd expect and want. The 7 sea soup is something I wouldn't normally get but was delicious. Their salsa always taste fresh and have good flavor and variety. The workers are also very nice. I will say the tacos here were pretty good. It is hard to believe just how expensive tacos now are in San Diego in general. Tacos used to be a cheap dinner/snack. I was refused service at this restaurant for having a service animal, even though my dog was fully enclosed in a secured stroller with the top closed. This is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). When I informed the owner of the law, he openly stated that he "didn't care" and claimed he has been doing this for 30 years. That level of disregard for federal law and customer rights is unacceptable. This was not just poor customer service -- it was discriminatory behavior. We ordered asada nachos for the gluten free hubby, signature burrito for me and the surf and turf burrito for the son. Service was fairly quick and when we received the food we dug right in. My burrito had great taste , probably the best tasting burrito I had had in a while. Son also concurred that his burrito had great flavor. Both burritos were a generous size. Seven sea soup: consisted of shrimp, octopus, fish, clams, top shelf abalone with a side of corn tortilla and herbs. The soup was bland even when I used the herbs in it. The flavor was not there; it was a hefty price of $17.95. I would rate this dish a 5 out of 10. My friend ordered the carne sada burrito on the safe side and he was not impressed either. They gave us one hot sauce each of the green, red and chili oil sauce. I wish they could be more generous with the hot sauce. The hot sauces were not good either; it had no kick to it nor flavor.
