    Blueberry pie -great flavor

Outstanding meal at Roberto's. We sat on the front porch overlooking folks walking to and from Perkins Cove. The service was on point and attentive. My wife had the Seafood Fra Diavolo which was perfectly spicy but not overly hot on the taste buds. The pasta was cooked Al dente with pieces of lobster, shrimp and scallops. A nice portion with plenty of delicious tender seafood ($44) - well worth the cost. I had the lobster pappadelle with a creamy butter sauce - rich flavors with perfect al dente ribbon pasta. Like the diavolo dish - lots of tender lobster $44. The blueberry pie ($7.95) with whipped cream was off the hook good. Great crust and excellent deep blue cooked blueberry. Nice coffee. Nice Italian wine, non alcoholic beer and draft lobster ale. I will be back!

We had a really nice dinner at Roberto's. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Sunday evening in the fall and they were not very busy, we were seated right away. We started our meal with some warm bread and a yummy oil for dipping. We also ordered a carpaccio appetizer which was very good. I had seafood risotto for my main. It was delicious and the portions of seafood/lobster were generous. Finally, our server recommended the brownie sundae for dessert. It was more than enough for two of us to share, the brownie was warm, and it was overall delicious. I would definitely recommend Roberto's for a nice Italian meal in Ogunquit!

Went here for dinner since it was right across the street from Blue Shutters Inn where we were staying for the weekend. We called ahead to make reservations just an hour before. It was definitely crowded when we got there but they had several empty tables too. We got seated in the inner room by the window. They bring complimentary bread which came with a really nice flavored oil sauce. I wasn't too hungry so ordered the minestrone soup (bowl) and the wedge salad to share. The hubs ordered the penne sausage pasta and the Italian lemon drink. The soup was tasty rustic with veggies and a few beans. I expected the bowl size to be a bit larger. I ate it with the bread. The pasta was flavorful and was a pretty decent portion - had some leftovers. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu to share with- it was nice creamy. It's a nice restaurant with ample seating and cozy atmosphere. It had a very unique chandelier made of wine bottles. Overall good experience.

This place is nasty, don't walk, run!!! The food was left on the table from the night before. Reporting to the health department.

Needed a dinner place last minute so decided to try this place. The front yard of the restaurant…read more(lol) was packed but the hostess said there was no wait to sit next to the bar at a high top so we sat there. Ton of TVs and a very friendly attentive bartender- believe his name was George. What we ordered: -Beef Carpaccio: 5/5, great portion, very tender flavorful meat, and very light. -Meatballs: 2.8/5, good sized but very sweet and lackluster. -Lobster and Shrimp alla vodka: 3.5/5, great portion and generous with seafood but the vodka sauce tasted canned. -Seafood Risotto: 5/5 (per boyfriend), very generous with seafood and an incredible sweet creamy sauce -Black and white cake: 3/5, I am a cake brat and this was very meh. Beautiful presentation but lacked powerful flavor. The front yard seating looked like a vibe and the cocktails were good, so we would probably come back here for a drink next time we're in Maine.

We had high hopes for dinner here, but unfortunately the experience fell well short…read more Despite having a reservation, we waited longer than expected to be seated and even had to check back in just to confirm our table was being prepared. Once seated, it took quite a while to even receive water, though oddly our drinks arrived relatively quickly--the one bright spot of the evening. Honestly, those drinks were much needed given how long it took for the food to come out. Our meals took well over an hour, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. When the food finally did arrive, it came out sporadically, with dishes served at different times rather than together. The quality was equally disappointing--the salad was warm (which should be a crime in itself), and the pasta was bland and lukewarm, as were the other dishes our family ordered. While this could have been written off as an off night, recent reviews suggest this has become a pattern. It's unfortunate to say, but this season does not seem to be their year. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of response from management. Staff were clearly aware of the delays, yet no one came to address the situation, offer an apology, or provide any form of compensation. There are plenty of great local spots to enjoy a nice evening out--I would strongly recommend exploring those instead. Do yourself a favor and keep driving past this place.

What we ordered: -Cornbread: 3/5, great portion to share with the table and piping hot which I loved but wish it was moister and had more honey on top. -Caesar salad: 5/5, incredibly fresh, dressing was delicious and evenly spread among the whole salad, fresh anchovies on top were a nice touch -Crabcakes: 4.8/5, only comes with 2 but the cakes were very fresh and flavorful. The corn on top was very boring I wish they spiced it up a bit but it did not take away from the flavor of the cakes so I kept the score high. -Lobster Pappardelle: 5/5, one of my favorite meals we ate on vacation!! Generous lobster portion with perfectly cooked pappardelle in a very tasty sauce. I already miss it and wish I could eat it again. -Braised Short Rib: 3.8/5, beautiful presentation and everything tasted great but very small polenta/carrot portions and I wish the meat was more tender. It wasn't bad, it just didn't blow my socks off. -Espresso crème brûlée: 4.5/5, was the perfect birthday dessert for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. Quality espresso flavor, wish it was a little crispier on top. Food was ~4/5 but our overall experience was 5/5. Our server, Pedro, was so friendly and helped us with dish recommendations. When I told him we were celebrating a birthday, he brought the crème brûlée out with a candle and two other staff members to sing to him which was so sweet. We will definitely come back here next time we're in town!

We took our small family to an early dinner at crooked pine. We made a reservation for 4:30 (one of…read morethe few times they had available on this rainy day). We sat at a table by the window on the first floor. We overheard that there is an upstairs bar, not sure if they also seat folks for dinner there. We were able to place an order right after getting settled. We enjoyed the Sun mocktail, charred beet salad, mac and cheese, fried codd sandwich, steak frites, and corn ravioli (without the pancetta). My spouse is gluten free and I am vegetarian so we are always looking for restaurants that can accommodate both. The charred beet salad was good but I think dressed a bit too heavily. I thought the corn ravioli and sun mocktail were both great. The kids (ages 1.5 and 5) liked the Mac and cheese and fried cod sandwich. They did not have any appropriate booster seats for the 1.5 year old so my spouse held him. My spouse loved the steak frites but I think wished had a few more "frites" given the amount of interest from the younger crowd. Our waiter was wonderful and also brought some orange slices from the bar for the kids. We were very grateful. We decided to go nearby for ice cream after dinner, but I heard there is a dessert menu.
