We had a great dinner at Fisherman's Catch! The food was excellent--I had the Fish & Chips, which were perfectly crispy and fresh, and my wife absolutely loved the Lobster Tacos with fries. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially with the views of the marsh. It's a classic Maine spot, and the service was friendly. We would love to see a few more local options added to the beer list to really round out the experience, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back!

Food is freakin great. Service is pretty fast & friendly. It can be loud but gets crowded due to how good it is.

Fisherman's Catch has continued to evolve since changing hands a few years ago. The interior space was renovated, the restrooms were moved to make the indoors dining space bigger and another outdoor dining space was created. They've recently instituted a 4 course lobster bake, which we have yet to try. The staff are still lovely, the service is good and the food is excellent. They're one of the best at making fried seafood. I had the whole belly clams and scallops today and they were cooked perfectly, with accompanying crispy fries. Even the coleslaw was great. Didn't have the chowder today, but it's reliably excellent. The only negative is the use of disposables plates, cups and utensils. The combination of food and ambience makes Fisherman's Catch a not to be missed restaurant. It's usually our first meal after arriving in Ogunquit. For the comb

Great find! Ordered the clams and they were awesome--no sand. Lobster dinner was an average price but well steamed, not overdone. Beautiful marsh view with shade out of the sun during mid-day. Absolutely adorable trolley car to sit in (small tables). Will be back asap. Loved it.

Have not been back in a few years so gave it another try. They do call ahead on line now so that helps with the wait. Place is always busy. Fun atmosphere and live music! Food was good but honestly the prices were WOW! The à la carte fried scallops was $32. Lobster Tacos with fries $38 Diet Coke $4.50 small cup of chowder $9.00. I compare this to my experience the night before at a local steakhouse - delish full meal- filet and scallops. Potato and salad was $32.99 Way better spend of my dollars for sure.

A view from our seat. Notice the adorable hanging lobster paper towel holders.

Off the beaten path and we loved it! Having come to this area for years, we have our favorite stops. We try to visit them all, but this trip was different. One of our favorite stops had closed due to seasonal hours, so we decided to hit some other locals places. We were thrilled when we found the Fisherman's Catch last year and decided to go back again this year. We were seated right away and served not too long after. The staff is friendly and attentive. The upscale shack-like atmosphere is on point. We love their lobster paper towel holders that are suspended from the ceiling. I can say that the seating inside is comfortable but I have not been able to try the outdoor seating. So far we have tried the scallops, clam strips, fish sandwich, clam chowder, the fries, the coleslaw, and I'm sure I've forgotten something else. We have been very pleased with everything. When visiting in-season, it's best to get to the restaurant before 5pm. Parking fills up and the line can get long. In late October or early November it is much easier to get a table. Try this place once and I can guarantee you'll be planning a return trip.

The perfect stop to start our Maine vacation! Started off with a local favorite, Maine lunch IPA... I shared the captains feast .. a super large portion of fried scallops, haddock, shrimp and clams over French fried ... whoa this was a massive amount! Tried some of their lobsters, sweet and delicious! Service was fast and polite! ,

First, thank you for staying open into the off season!! I just happened across Fisherman's Catch and what a treat it was. I had the whole lobster (1.25lbs) and fried whole belly clams. The meal was absolutely delicious. The service and people were super nice, that includes the server Ani and the kitchen staff. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and fresh. I'm excited to return here some day. What a great meal.

Despite being off Route 1 in Wells the location is picturesque and quiet due to it being on a dead end road, with just a marina past it. Looks like it's been around for decades and like a Maine seafood shack, rather than a chain restaurant. Menu has expected Maine/New England types of chowder and seafood. Service was quick and friendly. Food was generous and well prepared. Not a fancy atmosphere, but good value food and a quiet, scenic view to go with it

My Mom ordered a cup of chowder, thank goodness she didn't order the bowl because she said it was absolutely awful. To be fair, their menu does explain how theirs is different from typical chowder. My Mom said it was really watery and had no flavor. Luckily she also ordered some shrimp, whichi took a while to come out but were great. I ordered the chicken breast plain sandwich with no tomatoes, fried, and a side Caesar salad with blue cheese dressing. They brought it out with the tomato, good thing I am not allergic to tomatoes. The sandwich was great, tons of chicken and it wasn't too dry. I learned about "buckie" rolls and that they are soft and break easily. I ended up eating my chicken with a fork!! I needed more dressing and the server didn't bring in a timely fashion, the lettuce being wilted by the time she brought it. The pickle on the plate was good, but the fries were just OK. We were able to get a window seat in the bar, which made for a nice start to our Maine vacation. I would come here again, and would probably order the same thing. My mom, however, would probably not!!

We went on $1 oyster day, and they were fresh and delicious. Service was a little slow but it looked like there was some new staff training. The restaurant sits on the edge of the salt marsh so some nice dining views. All in all a nice spot for our lunch.

Seating: Footbridge js TAKE OUT ONLY with a big window you walk up to order and pickup. There are some benches nearby you might get lucky or you can stand by the bridge and eat. Lobster shack has seating and bathrooms. Price: On a Monday post lunch hour, I ordered the Lobster roll with clam chowder soup. Foot bridge is cheaper if you buy the combo outside of the lunch special hour compared to lobster shack. If you buy during lunch hour, they both are about similar in pricing. FOOD: The biggest difference between the two was TEXTURE. Footbridge offered a bouncy/chewier texture while Lobster Shack offered a softer easier to pull apart lobster. Secondly, the bread is slightly smaller at footbridge but the meat is 5oz almost singular piece versus lobster rolls multiple smaller pieces. Clam chowder was similar in the sense that footbridge had a thicker milkier consistency like most New England clam chowder while Lobster shack had more meat/substance but thinner liquid base with a somewhat coconut type taste. Both lobsters and clam chowder are unique and tasty in their own way and all boils down to preference. Lobster shack also had a pickle on the side but the price is slightly higher which all in all boils down to whether you like to chew or just wolf down that lobster roll.
