We both ordered tacos, with mine having the hard shell and his having the soft shell, and we both ordered the California Burrito, a favorite for the both of us. Since it was so close, we left to go get the food immediately after we placed it online, and it was ready right when we got there. The tacos were delicious and I'm going to say it right here, the California Burrito was literally en fuego. It started becoming a little spicy about halfway through, but it was still really good! For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

Today, all I managed to photograph was the menu because, once again, the food disappeared too quickly. Chile Verde is truly a hidden gem. The owner is a one-man operation - he takes your order, prepares every meal himself, and does it all with incredible care and pride. The food is consistently excellent. The ingredients are fresh, the oil is always clean, and everything is cooked to perfection without ever feeling greasy. My go-to orders are the Beef Rolled Tacos with Guacamole and the Vegetable Burrito, and they never disappoint. One thing that has always impressed me is how immaculate the kitchen is. His stainless steel equipment is always spotless and shining, and it's obvious he maintains the highest standards of cleanliness. There isn't a dining area, so it's takeout only, but don't let that stop you. The quality of the food more than makes up for it.
