Roberto's Taco Shop -- Las Vegas, NV -- 5 stars Yo -- rolled into Vegas for a Halloween wedding and had to hit up Roberto's. Straight up, this spot crushes it -- better than any Roberto's I've had back in SD where it all started. Been munching on Roberto's for nearly four decades, and these guys nailed the formula here. Real tacos are crispy and tasty, pollo roll tacos (chicken) are fantastic, and the pollo street tacos slam just right. If you want a bite of San Diego in Nevada, this is the place. Minimal carne. Lots of beans and guacamole. Unmelted cheese. Which means something was hot enough or cooked enough.

This is for the S Las Vegas Blvd location specifically. I went in this morning for a carne asap burrito. I asked for no pico add beans. The entire burrito do r the most part was beans, unmelted cheese (which means nothing was hot enough to melt the cheese) and guacamole. If that's what I wanted that would have been fine. The lady at the front around 8:30am was RUDE AND HAD AN ATTITUDE. I didn't even get my salsa containers filled before they threw the burrito on the side of me. It was less than five minutes. I went yesterday, ordered the same thing and had a completely different experience with the gentleman that were there. If it's before 7:00am go to Taco Bell. But the day shift is horrible.

Roberto's Taco shop is an amazing counter-service Mexican chain restaurant. Budget friendly! This whole plate- the carne chimichanga with a large piña fresca drink (it was huge) was 15.12 with tax. Baby & I were able to share the plate & drink The best part? There's several locations throughout Vegas and it's opened 24/7- even to dine in! 10/10 honestly wouldn't change anything for this price! Ambiance is like any fast food joint, nothing fancy.

I want to lick Roberto's Fingers! That's how much I love this place and this location did not disappoint. We wanted a snack at 1a or so, and after stopping to fill up the rental car, we saw the Roberto's sign and I convinced the Mrs. to try it. These are all over the city Las Vegas, and I think most are 24 hours. Some on the outskirts may not be. There's something about their crispy chicken tacos that I just love. They're super crunchy and delicious and take sauce very well. I also tried the carne asada taco which was loaded AF with delicious meat and other toppings. I'll be back to a Roberto's somewhere for sure. And the later you go, the more interesting the clientele gets.

We had lunch here and I ordered the carne asada plate. The meat was very chewy and hard. I was so disappointed. I just ate the chips and salsa that we ordered.

Great food at reasonable prices. Stopped in late one evening around 9PM and was happily surprised to see several other people here. Staff were very friendly and provided everything we ordered quickly. Neat little place with easy going atmoshere.

Forget it. They can't get a simple order right to save their lives. Every single time. Is NO GUACAMOLE that hard of a request? EVERY SINGLE TIME. Just avoid and go to Taco Bell.

#11. Three Rolled Tacos (beef) and a soda. $11+tip

My last stop on my way to the airport is always here. I had a fabulous breakfast, however I wanted to get an onboard meal. There's not much available at the airport nowadays. Still trying to keep within my nutrition, my trainer says tacos are okay. Picked up tres rolled tacos. Three Chicken with Cheddar and Enchilado Cheese, sour cream, guacamole all in a hard corn tortilla. Damn. I so wish Robertos's was in NotCal! Wait I'm going to eat it now!

The tacos are mid... Adobda and Asada tacos
    Andre Y.

The food is lower mid and the service is terrible as well. Maybe because we weren't Latinos or maybe we were the only customer that day and the servers wanted to go home early. I wouldn't go back or spend my last $20 because of the food and service.

Wow! The food here was amazing! My family and I all ordered different things but forgot to take pictures of it. We got our order to pretty fast. They make homemade tortillas which made everything 10X better. The prices aren't that bad and the staff was very friendly.

Best hang over cure. Good Sprite. (For those people like me, it's very important) and great for just before that long drive home.

The service was great everyone was nice and friendly. There is low to medium music playing so not too loud. The food was delicious I got Cameron's à la diabla next time I will get the spicier level but medium was really good as well. My husband got cóctel de camarón it's not on the menu but they made it for us. For the appetizers, but we got fresh guacamole made right in front of you, shrimp empanadas with cheese and I believe fried tuna For the little ones they have a few options we got a cheese hamburger and chicken tenders. The presentation for most of the plates and drinks were so cute !!!

The presentation here is so fun! They provide some homemade tostada shells with their house salsa and bean dip. Our drinks were served in the cutest glass decor, which was an awesome touch. My daughter had the El Coco (had Rum) which was in a cute pineapple glass and I had the Azul (had Gin) which was served in a glass seashell. For food, I had the steak and eggs, and my daughter ordered the quesabirria tacos (which come out in a super cool little presentation rack). Both dishes were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Had to try the Horchata Latte! Took it go, it did not disappoint! The Horchata flavor with the espresso was soo delicious! Great food, cool atmosphere, and excellent service. We will definitely be back!

The interior is clean, welcoming, fun, and definitely photo-worthy. The staff and service were personable, friendly, and very accommodating. I ordered the dinner special, which included a shredded beef taco and a comforting bowl of albóndigas soup. We also shared the guacamole, which was delicious and featured a unique, seasonal flavor twist. To finish, we split a slice of tres leches cake, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. I'll absolutely be returning to Hola to try more of their menu, especially since it's so conveniently close to home.

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

Today, all I managed to photograph was the menu because, once again, the food disappeared too quickly. Chile Verde is truly a hidden gem. The owner is a one-man operation - he takes your order, prepares every meal himself, and does it all with incredible care and pride. The food is consistently excellent. The ingredients are fresh, the oil is always clean, and everything is cooked to perfection without ever feeling greasy. My go-to orders are the Beef Rolled Tacos with Guacamole and the Vegetable Burrito, and they never disappoint. One thing that has always impressed me is how immaculate the kitchen is. His stainless steel equipment is always spotless and shining, and it's obvious he maintains the highest standards of cleanliness. There isn't a dining area, so it's takeout only, but don't let that stop you. The quality of the food more than makes up for it. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food made with fresh ingredients by someone who truly cares about his craft, Chile Verde is absolutely worth a visit. Please do note the hours of operation. He is open from 7AM - 5PM and closed Sundays as of today.
