I grew up going to the OG Roberto's on VegasValley and Nellis and when I go visit Vegas I'll get the super nachos and only some Roberto's locations get it right but this was the worse yet! I got a DoorDash and before I could even make changes on my order they had the nachos done which I knew was already going to be bad cause a driver wasn't set yet so I knew my food was going to be cold. It was smothered in beans the chips was soggy it was gross we couldn't even eat it. I had to get a refund! If you compare what you receive for a three dollar taco compared to Del taco or Taco Bell or almost any other establishment, they are not skimpy on the ingredients. shredded chicken, half an inch thick and the bottom of the shell, the shell is always fresh and crispy, the cheese and the lettuce are usually overflowing on top of the shell unlike most fast food chains were you practically have to open up the taco looking for the cheese or the meat. No, I will Conceit when it comes to flavor, sure the meat could technically have a bit more flavor but again nothing to complain about it's a taco. if you're in a hurry, taco rolls are absolutely perfect for a grab and go snack. And while everyone else is pumping up taco Tuesday, they have taco Wednesday for $1.59. In the day and fast food could easily run 30 to 50 bucks I am not complaining about this option. as a matter of fact, one taco for me is actually a whole meal. I will say I didn't realize the Wednesday special did not apply to a beef taco vs chicken and I don't necessarily agree with anyone being charged $1.25 for sour cream ... that is darn near the price of the taco !! Do not purchase their breakfast burritos. You might as well go to Del taco in the same complex. Roberto's usually gives you large burritos. Their tortillas are extremely large but for the breakfast burritos it's basically all tortilla. For $8 you get 2 eggs, cheese and potatoes same as del taco but much cheaper. I know this because I actually went back to ask for a side of eggs just so I wasn't eating tortilla but of course they gave 2 shits lol expected. Fill me right up. The burritos are huge and can be shared as well. You can eat inside or take it to go and parking is always ample. My four star rating is based on this location being consistent in portions and how delicious the food is. On my part, I've been satisfied. Whoever the lady cashier was on Halloween day was very rude. From the moment I walked in she gave me that look where you know rudeness awaits you. taco Wednesdays $1.59 chicken tacos / im ordered 2 taco and ask to make it a combo w rice and beans for extra $3.45 as the menu sign . I was charged $12.35 for a taco plate at regular price when should have been the Wednesday special for $7.19. did not realize till I got home what had happened . this was done by the shop manager Angelica Pineda who as a manager knows the pricing procedures as her position as a manager . next Wednesday I went to the Robertos on blue diamond and rainbow and ordered the taco special , 2 tacos and made it a combo w rice and beans and was charged the correct amount or $7.19 which is correct . I then called the district manager Reynaldo Robledo about the issue , he first replied "do what you like about this " and was quite rude . then he goes on to say it was a mistake to ring my order up in that manner and he would discuss w the shop manager . then he mentioned he would call this particular shop manager to discuss and see if he could refund my account for the difference . after about 15 mins he calls me back and proceeds to tell me that he talked to her and that she was adamant that she wasn't going to do anything when he himself told me it was a mistake on the initial call . so why would he put the decision back on them and not hold them accountable ?? why is he there ?? its not about the money but the unfair business practices . also I would be very niece to think that im the only one this is happening to. a year years back there was a new story about employees overcharging costumers cards and was a big story in vegas and its happening again just in a different manner. read more
