We stumbled across this place while out looking at Christmas lights one night last year. Where have I been? Craving tacos of course, when am I not? These aren't just any tacos, these are the most scrumptious, juicy, yummy, melt in your mouth queso-birria tacos and I could not get enough. The flavors exploded in my mouth and every time I took a bite, it was euphoric. Of course they offer 13 different taco options, along with 22 burrito options, tortas, tostadas, rolled tacos, enchiladas, breakfast burritos, breakfast plates, and wraps. Service was friendly and helpful. Easy counter ordering and then a small dining area. They also cater so if you are having a party soon, please invite me and have them cater your party. Your guests will love it especially me. They hail from San Diego where some of the best Mexican food can be found. I know their namesake is tacos, not "Burrito Man," but we went all in on the burritos here: Taco Man Breakfast Burrito, Smack Down Burrito (steak & shrimp), and Adobada Monster Burrito. Can't speak for the quality of their tacos but if they are anything like the burritos, then I'd rather brave the long lines at Tacos El Gordo. TBH none of the burritos impressed me. Of the burritos we tried, the Smack Down was the most acceptable. I've had much better brekky burritos elsewhere (though the white cream sauce in it was addicting) and the Monster Burrito was just giant but unsatisfying. If you like BIG burritos that CAN satisfy, I'd suggest checking out Sayulitas. The Adobada marinade here is a lot like Korean gochujang (thick paste) but bland and doesn't resemble the smoky, sweet, spiced flavor or tender juiciness of Mexican/San Diegan Adobada/Al Pastor that this former Angeleno is used to. With regard to their salsas, the red ones were my faves. The orange habanero was more heat than flavor and the green tomatillo wasn't fresh. While the burritos failed to impress, the Churros did not! They were filled with cajeta or dulce de leche, which was a nice surprise. read more

Solid spot! I made a phone order for an "eggs and bacon" breakfast burrito and it was sooo yummy. It had French fries, pico, crunchy bacon, and eggs. It was all seasoned so well. Best part was my order was ready within 5 mins of calling. Customer service was quick although a little uncomfortable/awkward. Second worst chorizo, breakfast burrito i've had the misfortune of eating. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be "disgusting". When I purchase chorizo from the supermarket and prepare it at home, It's amazing. I travel two hours to Roy's Café in Barstow California since they closed the one in Henderson JUST for their chorizo breakfast burritos and their amazing. So I know good chorizo when I taste it but the one I ate at Taco Man Grill ain't it. This review is for the terrible chorizo, breakfast burrito and Only the terrible chorizo breakfast burrito. Decent taco shop with a variety of options- tacos, burritos, tortas, sopes, quesadillas, bowls, plates, fries, etc. They have salsa bar with a variety of sauces - mild, hot, extra hot - cucumbers with tajin, and pickled carrots available. There is a note indicating a limit to the amount of salsa you should get though. We purchased chips and salsa and the salsa it comes with is more of a pico de gallo. I tried their 3 rolled chicken tacos and they were good but heavy on the cream sauce it came with. My husband had their TJ tacos but was not a fan of the "guacamole" on some of them. Absolutely Fire - Best Asada Bowl I've Had in Vegas! Just got the extra asada, extra avocado bowl from Taco Man Grill on Eastern in Henderson and it did NOT disappoint. The carne asada was perfectly seasoned, super tender, and they hooked it up with a massive extra portion -- you can actually see the generous chunks of grilled steak throughout. The avocado slices were thick, fresh, and creamy, and they didn't skimp on those either. Combined with the crisp lettuce, that rich white sauce, and the crumbled cotija cheese on top... man, every bite was loaded. It's fresh, flavorful, and honestly one of the best burrito bowls I've had in the valley. Portion was huge, price was fair, and the flavors were on point. If you're in Henderson and craving quality Mexican food, do yourself a favor and hit up Taco Man Grill. I've driven past Taco Man Grill more times than I can count, and I'm honestly mad at myself for not stopping in sooner. It's got that classic, no-frills taco shop vibe: you order at the counter, music's going, people are in and out all day, and the staff is friendly and patient even when you're staring at the menu trying to decide. I went straight for the birria side of things and it did not disappoint - the birria tacos with consomé and the quesa-birria were loaded, super flavorful, and perfect for dunking. On another visit I tried the carne asada fries and a shrimp bowl; portions were generous, the fries were crispy and cheesy, and the bowl was fresh enough that I had leftovers for later. The salsa bar is a nice bonus too, with a few different heat levels and extras like cucumbers and pickled carrots. Inside, the place is clean, casual, and has a good energy without feeling chaotic, even when it's busy. Food comes out fairly quick, and it's an easy spot for everything from a breakfast burrito to a late-night taco run. If I had to nitpick, some of the specialty items are a little pricey, and once or twice the meat leaned a bit chewy instead of perfect. I've seen mixed feedback on certain items like the chorizo burrito and drinks like the pineapple agua fresca, so I've mostly stuck to the birria, carne asada, and churros, which have all been solid. Overall, though, this has turned into one of my go-to taco spots in Henderson - especially when I'm craving birria or carne asada fries - and I'd absolutely recommend it if you're in the area and want a satisfying, casual Mexican meal. read more

They are just a couple of doors down from a donut spot off Eastern/Saint Rose prwy ... these quesabirria tacos are legit.. omg!! This is bad for my "diet".. they are so flavorful and affordable for the amount of birria that comes in the shell... add some lime juice to freshen up the flavors and you're good to go read more

I am so sad that it took me this long to visit here. Truly slept on as far as an amazing taco shop! The employee at the front counter was super helpful when I was ordering my carne asada tacos as I am not a fan of Pico or onion, and I ordered two tacos to start with. The carne asada was so tender and flavorful, two tacos didn't cut it. I end up ordering an additional 2 tacos because it has been so long since I've had a carne asada that was truly flavorful and not overseased or bland. They were cooking up fresh salsa while I was there and it took a little longer to get my second set of tacos but the employees were so kind and let me know why it took longer. Which, even with the wait, it was less than 5-6 minutes to get them. I did try the house salsa Verde and roja. Both were listed as mild and I'm not sure which I liked better. Next time, I'll get some chips to try them all. That was music playing the entire time I was there, it is moderately loud but enjoyable. You could still have a conversation without yelling and Even from my table I could still hear the employees chatting while they were preparing food. I've been to Taco Man Grill enough times to say it definitely deserves a five-star review. My go-to is the birria pizza, which I usually share with my spouse or friends. If it's just the two of us, we're good with the small, but when we have a friend with us, the large (8 slices) does the trick. The birria "pizza" is packed with meat, and the consome is always full of flavor. I also love pairing it with their surf and turf fries. I've never managed to finish the fries in one sitting, even when sharing, so it's great that they serve them in a tortilla so we can turn the leftovers into a burrito for later. My teenage son's favorite is the hot Cheeto burrito and hot churros. The one menu item I haven't loved is the pineapple agua fresca. Unfortunately, it always tastes a bit watered down. I've tried ordering it on different visits, but it seems to be the same each time. That said, the service is always excellent, the food comes out quickly, and the place is consistently clean. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the chance to today. We ordered the carne asada fries, a surf n turf taco, and a pollo asado taco. I loved the surf n turf taco. Lots of meat, perfectly seasoned, and the avocado sliced on top was a nice surprise. Even though I only got one surf n turf taco, it was my favorite part of my meal. The pollo asado taco was a little more bland than I expected. I probably wouldn't reorder pollo asado tacos here. I was really happy with the amount of meat in each taco though! The carne asada fries were presented well and looked so appetizing once they came out. The portion is big, so I'd recommend sharing with at least one other person. The fries had the perfect amount of crisp and seasoning, they didn't get as soggy under all of the meat and sauces. The meat was also well seasoned and there was a good amount of guac and cheese. I like my carne asada fries with lots of sour cream, so I felt the carne asada fries here lacked some. I squeezed a few limes over the fries to make them a little less dry. With more sour cream, I would've loved the fries. Overall, a solid taco spot. I'll definitely be back for their carne asada and surf n turf tacos. There's some other unique items on the menu that I hope to try next time too! There's a salsa bar where you can choose from 3-4 salsas. I wish they had some limes and onions there too. Come on taco Tuesdays! $2 per taco! Hopefully the price stays down for a while. For the size of the tacos, $2 are amazing, as probably 5-6 tacos can fill up a big boy. Fried Fish (8/10) - SO GOOD!!! These were my favorite tacos from this place. Super crispy, great portion sizes, and the fish is still super juicy and tender. They really get a good crisp on it, which I was a huge fan of. Asada (5/10) -Mediocre, not bad, but was slightly dry for my taste. Al Pastor (6/10) - Not the best al pastor spot you can go to, and I don't think this spot is necessarily known for their pastor. If you don't want to eat fish tacos, then I would potentially recommend this one over the asada. Asada Fries (2/10, NOT GOOD) - The carne asada was already dry in the taco, and on top of fries with minimal provided sauce, this was WAY too dry, even to the point of being kinda gross.
