We have been coming here for many years and once again we ordered our usual and what a disappointment. The recipe has definitely changed and the Enchiladas were only two which we noticed right away. The sauce was watery and tasted nothing like before. No more rich in flavor. Same for my beloved Camarones Dionisia.....as you can see in the picture it's not creamy. This restaurant would remind me of home with their still phenomenal quick and very attentive service but they are sacrificing taste and value due to rising cost in produce. Been to this location so many times, but this review is specific to Cinco De Mayo. Obviously it was busy, we made a reservation, but the service was awful. Server brought us the wring drinks...twice. It was so loud, which we didn't mind too much, but the food and drinks took forever to come. Tableside guac was amazing as always. But I cannot express how disappointed I was by the nachos. This day I was craving some Chicharrones. The best place that I really enjoyed them at was Viva Mercado but sadly I found that place shut down. I decided to get chili verde instead rather chance finding a sad disappointment trying to find a new place that served Chicharrones. My go to place for chili verde has always been Lido Michoacán. Since I was early afternoon and could not call this lunch and at the same time it was not really dinner time there wasn't much of a crowd. I was seated quickly and given a lunch menu and a dinner menu. Right away the chips, salsa and beans appeared and I gave my drink order. A Quick Look at the menu I found what I was wanting and put in my order. My appetizer arrived swiftly and looked delicious. I ordered CEVICHE de CAMARO it arrived cold and had an avocado fanned nicely spread out on top of the finely diced shrimp, tomatoes onions, lemon juice, and spices. It was very fresh and with the mix of limes that was quartered and on the side, I squeezed them all over to boost that tartness of a ceviche. For my 'lunch portion' sized chili verde, I received about 10 large chunks of tender pork. They seem to cut easily with my fork and I did not find but one with the littlest bit of fat yet un rendered. The pork was covered in a thick rich green salsa made with tomatillos, onions, green peppers, cilantro, fresh garlic and other spices. I asked for flour tortillas which were served pipping hot and of course rice and beans. What better to help it all go down easier but a house margarita on the rocks with a salted rim! The food today was well prepared, tasty and fresh! I would say that Lindo Michoacán was spot on today. I'm still saddened about my missed Chicharrones, but I now have some reviews to go through to find a new place. read more

Out of the three main meals out of the day, I like to come here the most during lunch. During my last visit, it was not so busy so service was good but I had a combo fajita and only had 2 tortilla's for a full plate which was definitely not enough, any additional would be extra charges. Service here is 6-star! Friendly. Attentive the entire time with refills, asking if we needed anything. Plenty of seating and has a great vibe for family dinner. The food is good. We have been to this restaurant and ordered out many, many, many times. A couple weeks ago we ordered lunch here... 3 people got sick!!! The manager told my team member who placed the order and picked it up that she would not do anything and she did nothing! I politely called the owner and he said he would need to investigate. He called back and said they had not had any other complaints. One of our team members put the red sauce all over her taco salad, so she really did not notice the taste being off. I explained to the owner how sick all three people got... She was so sick she was up all night and I won't describe her experience, but it sounded brutal. She could not work the next day as she had been very sick snd up all night. My husband was sick as well and after eating he threw the red sauce out. He said it tasted very acidic. He has a strong stomach and almost never gets sick. The other team members said it was the red sauce and she usually likes their red sauce but she spit it out... She didn't have a good afternoon. I had their wedding soup I think they call it, which I love and a quesadilla and guacamole ... I did not get sick. The owner offered to replace 3 salads. We had ordered meals for 10 people. I did not take him up on his offer... Not a nice way for a business owner to treat regular customers for many years!!! read more

We seated right away, exactly where we wanted to be. The atmosphere was so fun and the music was so great that we actually danced by the table a little before we sat down. They brought chips with salsa and with refried beans.The salsa was spicier than I expected. The refried beans were delicious. I had the taco salad with the side salad. That gave me plenty of lettuce (I'm watching my weight). The chicken was hot off the grill, so it was fabulous. The cilantro dressing was so delicious that we brought home 8 ounces with us! Family-owned Mexican restaurant with a vast menu. My very pregnant daughter craves this place and loves it. I can't say I feel the same but I love hanging with my family as often as possible. The space is filled with Mexican folklore art and details and that part I really love. It's pretty dark inside and seats are nice and cushioned. There's always a lot of large families surrounding our table. The food is ok. I don't love it but I definitely don't hate it. If Yelp listened to its users we'd already be allowed to use half ratings and I'd give this place a 3.5. The fideo soup is so comforting made with tangy tomatoes and golden brown noodles. No complaints here. The crispy chicken tacos could use some seasoning and the meat tends to be dry. I add sour cream and salsa all over them to make them way better. Everything from the combinations menu could use a little something but I know that most places cater to a more gringo version to please more people. In general this is not on my list when craving delicious Mexican food. read more

My boyfriend and I have eaten here a few times and usually had good experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. We both ordered fajitas (I got steak, he got shrimp), and they were honestly some of the worst we've had. There was absolutely zero seasoning, not even salt, which made everything completely bland. The portioning was also odd. You only get two tortillas (they're large, like Chipotle burrito tortillas), but the fajitas themselves were about 99% peppers with very little actual protein. The shrimp especially was disappointing, only a few shrimp chopped into tiny pieces. They also only served sour cream and guacamole on the side, no lime, salsa, or other typical toppings, which made the dish feel incomplete. Thankfully we filled up on the chips they provide. I really regret not taking photos. Based on this experience, I'd recommend trying something else. read more

Super disappointed. We really like it he order locations. Interior is cute love the others and food tastes good though a lot came out cold. But the service was awful. We had such a simple order too. We got our round of dunks and ordered and I don't think we ever saw our waiter again after our order. Our friends got the fajitas and they were delivered without an extra player or tortillas. The salad was ok. We ordered chicken nachos with no beans. We got cold chicken nachos with nothing. It took 5 minutes to wave down a random person to get the tortillas, sour cream, guacamole and missing plate. We ordered the lunch portions of pork carnitas #19, yet it was still too much food to finish in one sitting. Lunch for tomorrow then, I had to try their chile Relleno. Words do not exist for what happened at Lindo Michoacan Summerlin, but I am going to try anyway. We walked in expecting the same great food we had enjoyed in years past. Instead, we were seated at lightning speed by a gentleman in a bright green holiday sweater who looked personally offended that we needed time to read the menu. That should have been our first clue. Our food arrived so fast that it felt like the plates had been waiting for us since last Tuesday. The first bite of carnitas explained everything. The meat was dry, rubbery, and carried a mysterious refrigerator aftertaste that no one orders on purpose. I tried my daughter's taco to see if mine was a fluke. It was not. Hers was worse. My son ordered chicken. How do you mess up chicken? This kitchen found a way. Every protein on the table had the same microwaved, overworked, deeply regrettable texture. Will we be back? I have been a fan of other Linda Michoacan locations but this one has major issues in the kitchen. The location is right by my new home and so I was so excited to support. Gave it a few tries and the issues are: 1. Greasy and unseasoned chips 2. Salsa that either tastes like fish or mold 3. Dirty oil so deep fried items taste like rancid oil I did have a shrimp cocktail that was ok but under seasoned. Bartender is very nice and attentive and makes a good drink. Chips salsa and beans - delish...and I totally enjoyed my fajita. It was everything I want in a chicken and shrimp fajita and those tortillas are perfect. You really can't beat that. My wife had a steak dish and it was good, especially with everything that came with it, but she wasn't raving like I was about my dish. My friends and I decided to visit Lindo after work one night. This location was highly recommended, and since we thought they were open late we thought it'd be perfect. The only fault I'd give this place is that it's only open until 10 despite it saying 11 everywhere online. I only found out after asking the hostess. Service was good, super helpful and kept our drinks full. Food was amazing. It came out hot and tasted great. Chips and salsa are to die for. They really kept us full on the constant refills of the chips, salsa and bean dip. It was awesome. I got the #9 Combination, which was a Cheese Enchilada and a Beef Taco. The taco was great, perfectly crunchy and filled with beef. The enchilada was good too, except I wish I got it with green sauce instead of red. All of my party enjoyed their dishes as well. We were greeted and immediately seated by the hostess at a great table, Mariachis were playing and we were immediately brought salsa, beans and chips and our drink order was taken. I have been coming to Lindo Michoacan for probably 20 years. I adore their bean dip...and it is still good.....BUT..... To be honest Lindo Michoacan has seen better days. Don't get me wrong the food is not bad but has become mediocre and forgettable. Our tableside Guac was pretty flavorless. Our carnitas were so overdone they were like shoe leather. Great rice and beans and tortillas though. Good Margaritas that are decently priced. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants on the Southwest side of the Las Vegas valley, we stopped at Lindo Michoacán for lunch again. Located off Flamingo Rd. Just west of the I-215 these limited parking by the east side of the building but plenty of overflow parking nearby. The restaurant is usually steady for lunch but not so busy and loud that you can't talk with friends at lunch. It's clean and the food is good, and the service is always good too! We went for lunch on Friday with 4 adults and two small children and it was an ok experience. We were seated right away, but it was a bit before a waiter came over to take drink orders. The complimentary chips, salsa, and beans were very good, homemade chips and spicy salsa. We started with Ceviche Cameron as an appetizer. It was good, but light on the shrimp and heavy on tomatoes. From there we ordered entrees; Taco Salad (huge), Chile Colorado, Steak Ranchero, Pescado Playa Azul, and two kids' Quesadillas. All the food was very good, although the Fideo Soup was a little off, just didn't taste right. The Fried Ice Cream and Sopapillas for desser were nice. The issue here, once again, was the service. It started out slow but acceptable, then went downhill from there. A lot of the time, the busboy was the only server around, and unfortunately he did not speak a word of English. I am not trying to be harsh here, but he did not understand the words "menu" or "dessert".
