My only super-local place to get a cup of coffee brewed with beans that just came out of the roaster. Love the coffee here, and every employee seems to have a passion for it as well. The downside? I was in the area visiting for a wedding and stopped by the day before I went home. I had a caramel mocha, and was surprised by how good it was. I was able to taste both the caramel and the mocha, and it was a perfect blend of the two. My brother chose a fireside marshmallow iced coffee. It's obvious that Robert has a passion for great coffee. My brother was able to choose if he preferred a lighter roast or darker roast. I bought some banana creme and Hawaiian hazelnut to bring home to California, and look forward to enjoying it! read more

This cafe offers a great variety of coffee, and desserts. Probably the best selection in town, although it is a little on the pricier end. However, I feel that the customer service can be improved.. Deciding to go here and study, I came in with a latte from 7 eleven the other day and was send right out the door since drinks from the "outside" are not allowed. It rubbed me the wrong way since I live on the complete opposite side of town and came all the way for nothing. Other establishments like Manhattan Bagel, have no problem with outside drinks. Been going here with the better half for a few years and everything from the drinks, to the people, to the ambiance, to the desserts warrants a five star rating. We always get the Oreo Cookie Bash and it's incomparable to any Oreo drink out there. Who cares if they don't have a sign, place is good enough to not have a sign. So I ended up in this cafe randomly. I was trying to research where to find this certain banana pudding that I seen and found out it was being sold here so I decided to stop by to buy it. Who woulda thunk it that the best babo I've had in NJ among the numerous Asian shops popping up everywhere is from a place called Robert's in Bayonne? None of those cheap, watery, over-sweetened bubble tea or shakes here, Robert's Cafe offers thick, frothy and delicious drinks. Nothing beats a sweet, chocolatey hot chocolate when the weather starts getting cold. Attempted to stop by for the first time on Tuesday, forgetting that they're closed on Tuesdays, so I settled for a watered down, manufactured Dunkin Donuts hot chocolate (Uuuuggghhh!!!). Stopped by today and watched the owner mix and decorate my hot chocolate. Large hot chocolate was almost $4, but certainly worth every penny. I would advise the owner to get an awning or some sort of visible signage soon, as the place is very easy to miss while driving if you're not familiar with it. I can't say enough good things about Robert's Cafe. Robert's Cafe has the BEST coffee in Bayonne, Hudson County, probably New Jersey. It is a roastery, which means the coffee beans are roasted in house. This provides an unmatched freshness and taste. It is hard for me to drink coffee elsewhere now, because it is all swill to me after Robert's. Beans and ground coffee are sold for home brewing as well, buy some and everyone you make it for will ask you "What is this?". Their deserts are delicious as well. Try the carrot cake. read more

Quiet little gem of a coffee shop, nicely decorated on the inside with a relaxing, welcome atmosphere. The owner and staff are super friendly, they have a big variety of flavored coffee that they will freshly grind for you, they also offer different teas, hot/cold drinks and dessert. The oreo freeze is to die for and the top it off with their own fresh whipped cream!! Nice spot for after dinner, catching up with friends, or just to relax.
