I've been going to this location for about 3 years. I used to go here because it was right next to my boyfriend's college, but even now that he no longer attends I make the hour drive just to use these guys. They gave me a quote to fix my A/C back in august, and over 6 months later the price didn't change! I had to wait to save up some money, so I was happy to hear the price was the same. They did a safety check on my car and noticed my struts were bad, and although it wasn't cheap they got it done. They noticed one of my tires was showing chord, and insisted on putting an old used tire on my car because they didn't want me driving on it like that. I was approached before I even got inside the door and was asked how I could be helped. I only had a slow leak in one of my tires. They told me they would get right on it after they finished a truck before me. I was nervous as I was driving a new pickup truck. I asked that they use specific methods in the handling of the wheel. I had my wife's car tire patched there. I was waiting and It was just starting to take a little too long to get done. Then they called me up and said it was fixed. I asked them how much, and was told no charge. I was dumbfounded. I asked him why and he just shrugged and said it was free. I told him he just sold me my next set of tires. Nothing like this has happened to me in the Phoenix Valley. Most people are trying to gouge you. Most tire shops think only in terms of selling you a new tire when yours can be fixed. Called and told them the specifics about what I needed done to get a stubborn lug nut off. Once I brought the car in they proceeded to do everything I told them I already tried. That made the process 10x longer than needed. Once they were done the price was way more than necessary. I spoke to the manager about the cost and the entire conversation was one of the most unprofessional ones I've ever had. He ended up throwing a tantrum and let me go for free but I'll never go back. The rest of the employees were great but the manager made it so I'd never go back. read more

Was in a bind and had to have a trailer tire now! Roberts Tire was the closest shop around so pulled in. They got me right in and put a new tire on. I went to the counter to pay and almost had a heart attack! They charged me double for that tire than any other place I have since checked would have charged me. I had a load of hay on my truck, a load of hay on my trailer, and brake issues on a Saturday at 4PM. Given that no one is every open on a Sunday for brakes, I had to wait until Monday morning (thus getting a sub at my teaching job back home), and started calling around at 7AM to try to get in somewhere. The first place I talked to had me bring the truck out, but when they saw the load, they said they could not safely raise my truck on their lifts, and they referred me to Roberts Tire. I called, talked to Chris. He mentioned that they were a tech short (someone was on vacation), but after hearing my tale of woe, he told me to come on down. Chris didn't even try to put my truck on a lift, but got a BIG jack out and pulled my truck around to the back of the garage, and he ended up working in the sun to determine what was wrong with my brakes, to fix them, to look at the bearings in the trailer, and to get a flat tire changed out for me. Chris walked in with a broken spring, to explain the 'crunching' noises I heard in my drum brakes, said that was a $15 kit and he'd change both springs on both sides, since the kit came with two springs. He said it was an hour labor, and later mentioned he'd tightened the hitch ball for me, and I think he did an inspection of the trailer, because he brought me out to show me what I needed to get fixed next on that trailer, when I got home. I was not charged for the flat tire repair, or for their taking off or mounting the pain-in-the-butt mobile home tires on my homemade trailer (I have been charged $15/tire for a tech's taking off and re-mounting tires, at a local place I USED to go to), AND the guys there found a lovely spare tire and wheel for my truck, that even matched my current tires. The total bill was $181. I am normally afraid of 'chains' because I have gotten the run-around quite a bit, if something goes wrong. As I had no choice, I went to Robert's. NOW, given the choice, I would go back and I would absolutely recommend this place - and Chris' honesty and expertise - to a friend! Thanks, gents! read more

I pulled into Robert's to see if they could pull a screw/patch my tire, after being told by Big O. (Tires were Big O, 2mo. old) to come back the following day. Robert's had me pull right in and immediately went to work on fixing the tire. I went to the counter to square up, and was told by Miguel there'd be no charge. Total time @ Robert's? Less than 20min. Not a good experience. Went in for my first set new tires on my F450 and spent 3k. they mounted and balanced my aluminum rims and damaged all of them. I Addressed it with the person incharge and they denied that they did it. This was the first time I had tires installed and there was no damage on my rims. Ruined Aluminum Rims...never will I return. read more
