They get you in acting like you're going to get a low interest rate on your car loans, they tell you interest rates from like 3.5% of 17% however they can't even tell you what criteria needs to be for what bracket of interest rates. I've never taken out a loan where they couldn't tell me what criteria you to meet to see if you even wanna do business with them. Technically you could have perfect credit and you can meet all the criteria and still get 17 percent interest rate if that's what they want to give you. It is a scam. Stay away from them. They lure you in on false pretense and then can't answer any questions which as a financial Institute they should be able to answer all questions. A car salesman could answer more questions about finance than their own financial institution can answer. They lost my business on that. Could've made a lot of money off my loan, I've been with the banks and their credit cards for over 15 years, I have a personal relationship with finance as well. So this leads me to believe that they have under trained staff. Ignorance is no excuse. For anyone who's reading this, in case you are unaware, as many people are, when they run your credit if you decide to not take out a loan with them, it will drop your credit by 20+ points. If you don't take the loan, it looks like you've got denied. Therefore them not being able to answer your questions properly could result in you dropping into a credit score bracket that you won't be able to get lower interest rates because they suckered you in. If you want to Bank with them, they aren't so bad they have benefits other banks don't have. But it comes the cost because there's only one location in the entire state of New Jersey.

The branch itself is clean, well organized and clearly marked for the service you are looking for that day. You are always greeted by a friendly rep at the door to ensure you're heading to the right place or getting an appointment if you aren't sure. From mortgages to car loans or other banking needs, the advisors are always incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They understand your needs, provide advice or feedback, show you the numbers and potential alternatives, and then set you up for an easy checkout experience. I could not more highly recommend NFCU and this Cherry Hill branch!

I am in Baltimore MD my car was 10 mins away I had to drive to deleware to pay in cash.. i wanted to take them to court. the loan was $1500. If you need a loan go to Lendmark. By the way I ended up getting the car out and selling it for 5k, worked out for me. But still this place needs to be sued and closed.

I took out a loan in December 2019 and paid my payments on time. My plan was to pay the loan off with my tax refund, however, as we all know COVID happened and defrayed those plans. I was unable to make payments during the initial lockdown because I was employed by a small business who had to close permanently and I was ineligible for UC and have yet to receive a stimulus payment. I attempted to work something out with AEL and was told by James that I'd need to pay DOUBLE the original loan amount to keep my car. While still in lockdown, a rollback came and towed my car away. I involved the Attorney General because repossessions were not to occur during the pandemic. I was able to get some assistance through the State's office and paid the loan off to reclaim my vehicle. (If you find yourself having issues with this company, I HIGHLY encourage you to contact your state's Office of the Attorney General and file a complaint). Since taking back possession of my car and pay the loan off, I have yet to receive the title. I'm in the process of trying to sell the vehicle and was informed by PennDot that the title is still in Auto Equity's name. Auto Equity has lost the title and refuses to request a duplicate from their DOT. I spoke to a man claiming to be a supervisor in the "Asset Recovery" department this week who was rude and insensitive. I now have a vehicle that isn't my legal possession so I can't sell it and I can't even update my registration to drive it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! TRUST ME, YOU AREN'T THAT DESPERATE!!
