This is likely the worst Heat & Air Company in Tulsa
It is a travesty what this company has become. I have ben a customer of theirs for since I bought my house 6 years ago. My parents have been customers for over a decade. I should have likely canceled service with them 2-3 years ago. I have been a "Preferred Customer" for 6 years and I imagine that my parents have been so for longer. We were told with that annual fee as being part of being preferred customers and paying them an annual fee we would receive expedited service and biannual checkups on ball units. This preferred member status is scam which allows them collect an annual fee for services that they do not guarantee. Aside from that, the there is no preferred benefit to getting quicker service as a "preferred" customer.
First Strike:
My first incident with them occurred when the newer of my heat units went out. Robison sent someone out who said that I would need a part that he didn't have on hand. I was told I would be called back in a day or two so that they can return to fix my furnace. Meanwhile, it is below 40 degrees outside and inside my house. Another week goes by without hearing anything. In the meantime, I had to stay in a guest bedroom of a friend for a couple of weeks.
Considering all of this, I called back to see what was going on. The office manager, who appears to be inept to manage the scheduling and record management (or complete lack thereof), told me that she showed no record of anyone visiting my home nor did she even have the problem recorded with the furnace. She then quizzed about what the technician looked like. She finally admitted that they sometimes use contracted techs because they don't have enough of their own. I found this odd considering this preferred customer status seems impossible for them to pull off.
A second technician was sent out who I assume diagnosed the exact same issue. They did return a week later to correct the issue, however, they did not fix the problematic issue they simply set the furnace to "emergency heat" which it ran on throughout the winter. I assume running on emergency heat for a year is not good for my unit.
Second Strike:
After doing this annual service of my HVAC unit this summer, the HVAC unit broke within a month of them being there. This unit is 6 years old. Again, they came to fix the unit, but yet again they didn't have the parts. A different technician returned with the parts yet there was no communication between him and thee first technician. It took 3 weeks after making the call to have the HVAC cooling my home in June & July.
Third Strike:
Fall is upon us and now cold temperatures are coming on fast. I made two phone calls neither of which were answered or returned despite my voicemails. I was never called back. When I did get a hold of them because I called a third time, I was told that they would not be able to provide another technician for another week and a half even though I have "preferred customer" status (which if you haven't figured out by now is a total scam). I have a two-year-old child staying with me this weekend and relied that my "preferred status" would ensure my home was warm and fit for a child. I was explained that now Robison only has two technicians, meaning, they are unable to get anywhere close to delivering the service to a "preferred customer" or any customer in general. After all of this failed service, the office manager who seems to be inept, rude, and unaware of any sort of customer service (even for longtime, loyal customers) explained that she would not return the $69 owed to me for them not providing the service I was contracted to. She still refuses to do this, and not will I post further news, but I will also be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
This company is dying. The technicians don't want to work there because of the abysmal management and administration. The good technicians have been missing for years now...even though I was told they were fired (which is legal to report). Not to mention the awful customer service, the office is not even able to keep proper records of who came to your house, what they did, or the parts needed.
IF YOU LIVE IN TULSA OR THE SURROUNDING AREA THAN THIS IS THE LAST COMPANY YOU CALL. CALL ANYONE ELSE.
I have now had very positive interactions with other companies who were able to get to my cold home quickly. Not to mention they were competent t enough to keep records and be professional. read more
