I have been buying veggies from Roblar's veggie stand at Tuesday's farmer market in Santa Barbara so i was really excited for the opportunity to try their wines and their food at the winery. Overall a nice experience but I wanted to jump on here with one kind of big drawback. Me and my companion were hoping for a red wine only tasting flight, and they didn't offer one. We ordered the mixed flight and neither of us enjoyed the white or the rosé. The server noticed and did bring alternatives, so kudos for that. Also the focaccia, which was the only food item we ordered, was over-salted with the finishing salt. My companion didn't find it too much but I normally enjoy a bit more salt and thought it was way too much. read more

Roblar is definitely among the best wineries in the Santa Ynez Valley. We made reservations in advance for their Farm to Table Food and Wine pairing which includes a tour. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, it was chilly and raining. We did have an abbreviated tour and then went to the tasting room ... a large comfortable dining room and bar with a beautiful fireplace... for our food and wine pairings. Their chef and her team made some delicious food for a tasting plate, and the food was pair with some of their premium wines. We particularly enjoyed their Platinum Chardonnay and Gold Cabernet Franc (took home a couple of bottles of each). Roblar's wine maker is producing some very good quality, small production wines. Next time we visit, we will be sure to make a reservation for lunch. read more

We came here to mainly eat and got the honey pepperoni pizza and the corn pizza. Those are not the exact names but both were delicious! The corn pizza was first time having that kind and it was better than I thought! Now I'm on the hunt for pizza with corn here in Los Angeles. I got a Sauvignon blanc while my bf got a Pinot noir. This place was incredible! We had the pleasure of doing a tasting and eating lunch here in our most recent trip to Santa Ynez. We will come here every time from now on! The wine was delicious. Our fav was the Gold Santa Rita Hills Pinot Nior. We had to grab a bottle to take home. The food was unreal. Caesar salad was so yummy, but the real star of the show was the lemon saffron Risotto with shrimp. The presentation was beautiful but it tasted even better than it looked. Wine is pretty good. Went for brunch and had the tuna tataki and it was fishy and whatever they dressed it with was really salty. Also had the hanger steak tacos and the the steak was poorly seasoned and the toppings were way too salty as well. The pancakes were also burnt on one side of my the pancakes and they were plated with the "good" side up. This is a place I recommend bringing family and friends (of drinking age) for a nice afternoon. I also recommend hiring a car service so everyone in your party can partake comfortably--if that's an option you have. Lastly, I can't give this review without saying that the cornbread is the best cornbread I've had in my life. I've never felt compelled to ever review cornbread because it's not a dish I particularly enjoy, but my mind was changed in the best way. Everything about this experience was an A+. Went here for brunch with family on our way to a Solvang day trip. The location is beautiful and very close to Los Olivos if you want to explore the area. Beautiful winery with a lovely area for tasting and dining among the vineyards and gardens. A great menu offered to pair with a wine tasting. We were swayed by the review of the BLT at check in. It was hearty and came with a fresh salad. We did the wine tasting ($25) and enjoyed tasting 2 whites and 3 reds, the Syrah being our favorite. Others had posted pizza which was not on the menu, apparently the pizza I've was not working but they also serve it only on certain days so call ahead if you're looking to try the pizza with your wine. This was the second spot on my birthday winery trip. This was the perfect spot to get lunch after a few glasses of wine. The honey pepperoni pizza was delicious! Perfect amount of honey and pepper. I love how the pepperonis were crispy. The food is very tasty here however it is priced fairly expensive. The wine is good but the pours are a little smaller compared to other wineries nearby. The winery has beautiful views no matter where you look. Super cute winery to visit! The staff is friendly and was accommodating with our large group. Wow! What a wonderful experience we had at Roblar today. My wife and I brought our 13 month old and were guided through a tasting which we had some absolutely delicious food to enjoy with. The service, wine, and food were all outstanding and the atmosphere was very nice while not being intimidating or snobby at all. We bought a bottle of the Ottimo blend but the Pinot and Chardonnay were excellent as well. We plan on treating both sets of parents here very soon. My hubby and I went to this beautiful winery with farm to table menu for lunch. We were greeted so nicely and escorted to our outside seating. Nancy our waitress was incredible and so informative regarding the wine and menu! We had our first visit at Roblar doing some wine tasting with another couple who just became members. Great experience, we'll be back again. The building itself is really nice, beautiful lobby with a large central tasting bar and scattered tables for food and drink. We chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. Their patio is really well done with lots of casual seating areas, overhead shade and a central water fountain. They have a number of couch seating spots, and we chose one of those. "Gia" helped us with our wine. She had a great, outgoing personality and did a great job explaining each wine as we went through the tasting. There was no rush and we were able to sit and chat while we did our tasting. The wines were very good, and in the end, we purchased several bottles. They have a good food menu on Saturdays, and we ordered their shrimp/garlic toast to eat while we tasted. The bread is fresh, soft and drenched in an incredible sauce, topped with shrimp. As a deviled egg lover, I ordered theirs, and was pleasantly surprised by the eggs topped with smoked salmon and chives. They were really good. We didn't order their pizza, but we saw lots of them. They do them in a brick pizza over and they look very good. They also delivered some good looking chartuterie plates around us. The patio is dog-friendly, as well. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable place to spend an hour or so. The staff is excellent, the food very tasty and the wines were on point. Try them out! read more

The wines are of course excellent, but the food is obviously prepared by a truly great chef using locally sourced ingredients. The service is down to earth and kind.
