Good dish.decently priced. Good area too. Good service cozy dining room. Very attentive staff

Not sure why this place has such mixed reviews, but my experience here was great! Atmosphere is super pleasant, and they have nice outdoor seating too. All the rolls were fantastic! Salmon and tuna tasted fresh, and the pumpkin roll was surprisingly tasty--I hope that roll catches on. Definitely would return.

We got this from Uber eats. It took 1.5 hours to get the food. The lo mein was really good, spicy, just the way I like. The veggie sushi was incredible, it was my first time getting it. The sweet potato was just ok. Tasted different. Overall would get this again.

Robongi is okay for a casual meal at an ordinary sushi spot. I got the Dragon and Shrimp Tempura Rolls. Both rolls were a decent size but the overly high ratio of cucumber compared to the rest of the fillings in the sushi was what made it a good size. The service was a bit slow and inattentive; for example, I finished my water halfway through the meal and they only refilled after clearing our dishes and handing us the check. I wish they had a low sodium soy sauce option because I was feeling kinda thirsty by the end of the meal.

If you're looking for amazing sushi catering in Hoboken, NJ, look no further than Sushi House! The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the catering menu offers a great selection of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese favorites. The service is top-notch, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Sushi House for your next catering event!

Solid spot. Not my usual as my go to spots are closed on Tuesday's. Delivery was good and food was solid. We ordered avocado salads, salmon avocado roll, Sakura and Yoro roll and gyoza. Good as a back up but not my #1 spot in town- they also have a huge outdoor seating area as well!

I've been here numerous time for takeout and the sushi always tastes good. I'm now pregnant and craving sushi so decided to go with California and purely veggie roles. I obviously assume they use the same knives to cut the veggie sushi as they do the fish sushi but I wasn't expecting to find a piece of salmon among my California rolls.

First and foremost, yes the sushi was good so go get some. I dined in today. We were seated asap by a very welcoming gentleman. They are mainly for pick-up/take-out it seems but dining in is an option and halfway being there the place became packed almost full. I ordered the rainbow roll and the basic California roll. Both tasted amazing. The fish were all fresh and prepared well. The sushi wasn't just okay, It was very good. I would and will come back for this sushi. It would be a regular for me if I didn't live 30+ min drive away. The service dining in was great too. There's mainly one server for the whole place of like 10 tables. But he constantly moves to make sure all guests are attended to. He was very nice and definitely gave excellent service. The inside was clean and well kept. The noise ambiance wasn't too loud or too quiet. They don't serve alcohol. It's BYOB. The server informed us of a liquor store right up the block and we got some sake while waiting for food. He then got us the cups and got us a bucket of ice to put our sake and chill it.

Lunch special salad. Large but why the large sized carrots ?

this is just a lunch special review. the lunch special is such a great deal here. 3 rolls and then you choose a soup or salad. the salad is HUGE. its your simple salad, with the asian ginger dressing. my complaint is , why the full baby carrots? chop em up or get them out! The 3 basic rolls i had were nice. rice was cooked well and the fish tasted fine. i believe i had a boston roll, spicy tuna and salmon. for under $15 this meal was a steal! good service while we sat outside. PS BYOB.

Tuna Avocado Roll and Eel Avocado Roll

Was really jonesing for sushi the night I came here BUT I will absolutely be back for the crab boil or a big pot of mussels or another one of the amazing things I saw while checking out the menu. The place was packed when we came here on a Friday night. Still, we had no problem at all getting a seat outside. Although it was really busy, our waiter, who was running around gettin stuff done, was fantastic. You could really tell how swamped he was but he made sure to get our order in quick and check on us regularly. The garlic shrimp that we had as an appetizer was so tasty. It's isn't a huge dish, but great as a starter. The sauce was perfect, I wish I had bread to soak up whatever was left of it. I also got a seaweed salad and two sushi rolls and I was stuffed. I am a creature of nature so ordered a tuna avocado roll and eel avocado roll - both fantastic and not heavy on rice. I tried my boyfriends beef negimaki (something I'd never had before) and was very intrigued and impressed. It was basically scallions wrapped in beef, so it looked like little sushi rolls. I only had one roll, so can't speak to it too much, but if you aren't a sushi person or want something different or even a non-seafood plate to share, I highly recommend. This awesome little place on Washington is BYOB, so bring a bottle of wine and sit out side and have some amazing sushi/other things.

Good ambiance - looks like the inside of ship. Quite and cozy and good place for having conversation with friends. The food is OK - your normal modern day American -Japanese place with plenty selection of sushi. Overall decent, but overpriced.

Saka has a solid offer of Any 3 Rolls for ~$20. Their selection of rolls is more limiting than other places; would love if they had yellowtail or scallop as options at lunch. Nonetheless, the rolls I got were solid! The fish was fresh and the portion was great, the rice layer wasn't thick at all which is a big factor for me, and to my surprise, it came with both a miso soup & salad. The miso soup was pretty flavorful compared to others I've had and the salad came with a sesame dressing that was so refreshing with the crisp salad. I should've kept my order at that as the Crispy Spicy Salmon wasn't worth it. The crispy rice was slightly too hard/over-fried and the portion of spicy salmon was so tiny. The rice layer should be fully topped with salmon, unlike what they gave. It didn't taste half bad but I'd probably skip it next time. If you order for delivery, their insulated packaging is great for transport and temperature control. Solid try!

We chose the salmon avocado, spicy tuna, and Philadelphia rolls. And we got it with the salad. The salad dressing was amazing, definitely up there with the best of the Japanese salad dressings. The rolls were great as well. Very stuffed with not too much rice and tasted very fresh. The spicy tuna maki was a little spicy for me but not anything crazy. We also got crab rangoons and those were also fantastic. Also very stuffed and sweet. And the sauce they came with was a little spicy, very good too. Overall, very impressed with our first dine out in Hoboken. We will definitely be back.

The menu kind of reflects this struggle too, as it can't seem to decide if it wants to offer more traditional Japanese sushi-ya fare or something more innovative. As a result, we kind of wound up with the middling middle with our choice of 4 specialty rolls: 1) Saku: Probably the best and most traditional of our rolls with salmon and avocado inside, and ponzu, chives and crispy shallots on the outside. 2) Lobster: Not enough lobster salad inside to justify the overuse of miso-yuzu mayo, and just a whole ton of filler nonsense going on outside wrapped in pink soy paper. 3) Drop It Like Its Hot: Not spicy enough to justify the cute name. This should've been an easy slam dunk in flavor, but everything felt kind of bland and flat. Maybe due to the lack of nori. 4) Crunch Drunk Love: Lots of fish, but again, not enough flavor. We also got the Edamame with Spicy Miso Butter, which was just OK--the butter was weirdly sour. I wouldn't order it again. In fact, I....wouldn't really order anything here again.
