My Microwave was not working although the tray was turning and light would go on. Technician came in open the microwave up and said that the sednoid is stocked in open position. He hit the solenoid with screwdriver and put the microwave back together and microwave started working. He turned the microwave on for few second and left. I asked if the sednoid should be changed, he said no and was in such a rush to leave and did not even wait for me to test the microwave myself and was in and out in 10 minutes. Now after 35 days or so, microwave is not working again and I was told I need to pay again for a new service. I don't think the technician had found the root cause of the issue and did not properly repair the microwave the first time and just wanted to leave as soon as possible. read more

The worst contractors! This guy came in to our house twice to fix our appliances. He could not speak English or understand a word! Very rude and unprofessional... Did not understand the issues with washer/dryer and dishwasher. Kept blaming the vent for being clogged, filter being dirty, etc. I showed him photos and videos of vent being super clean, etc. we had a non-functional washer/dryer for a month (family with kids) and he could NOT fix the issue. Dryer timer still has issues, washer leaks, dishwasher leaks and doesn't clean the dishes. He should not be in this business or allowed to go to people's home. Stay AWAY from this co-called appliances repairs. They know NOTHING about appliances and how to fix them. read more

I have AHS and another technician came to inspect our LG dishwasher, said he sees that a lot of rust in the dishracks due to the hard water and confirmed that it was natural wear and tear. He took some photos and said that he was ordering the 3 dishwasher racks due to the rust. American Home Shield denied the claim stating that this provider said it was not natural wear and tear but that we misused the dishwasher. I called AHS and the technician from Robson Appliances came the next day, confirmed that it was natural wear and tear, AHS approved it and we had the new dish racks installed yesterday. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! Was assigned to these bozos by Amercian Home Shield. They never called so I had to contact them three (3) days after assignment. Even though American Home Shield had my correct number in their database, these idiots kept calling a different number and then blamed me because they had the wrong number. I wanted to like Robson, but he totally avoided the job and took my money. He refused to service my appliance through AHS, due to some slight water damage. That has nothing to do with the appliance itself. He even refuses to submit my signed paperwork stating the actual diagnosis. Very quick to do a thorough job and then ghost when it comes time to service. He's just there to collect a home warranty paycheck. Review update. I informed you that the washer has been removed from the laundry room as the small mold issue was being remediated by a licensed contractor. Your service tech refused entirely and had me sign a copy of the diagnosis. It's funny that you were able to complete a diagnosis given a mild mold situation. Then refuse when it came time to order the part and repair the washer even outside of the laundry room. You did not try to reach a compromise, and you even were rude to the AHS warranty staff, they even said so. You would not return their request, nor answer my phone calls or texts to rectify a reasonable solution. Again, I'm just viewing this as you completed the diagnosis and took a short way out; claim unsafe conditions if you'd like, but I have worked to provide an alternate solution and you chose the easy way out. read more

This team kicks ass! Love the fact they fit me in last minute. Little lucky, so wouldn't expect that always. Didn't know what to expect but had 2 appointments with another service tech company for a speed queen washer and they couldn't figure out the issue. Robson came in, took time to really diagnose the issue. Thank goodness the machine acted up like it was doing prior to arrival. After 20 minutes they figured it out. Contracted by AHS to repair a built in ice maker in my fridge. The unit was producing ice but the motor to dispense the ice was faulty. Robson pulled apart some parts and panels and tells us the wiring within the door is no good and the door needs to be replaced. Advised us that AHS will be in touch with his professional diagnosis. Later in the day, we noticed that our ice maker stopped producing ice and requested that he return to check on his work as it caused the ice maker to stop. He refused to return and to make matters worse, his diagnosis is not covered in our warranty coverage. He continues to claim that it's our faulty door that caused the ice maker to stop producing ice and not his work. Now it's in the middle of summer and we're out an ice maker. AHS and this contractor was sent to my home to fix a problem, not create one. Incredible! read more

Second, our ice maker needed a part that was back ordered for 5 weeks. I found another at a consumer supply house- at higher cost- and texted him. I revised my review based on the response that he gave. Horrible service. You might want to reconsider his service if you do not want to get COVID-19. Did not care about socially distancing and did not wear mask - well, Robson (the owner of this appliance repair company) wore it, except that it was hanging from his ear! When he came in, he wore the mask, but he took it off when he was working for an hour inside other people's house (people do get covid from circulated air within a house!!! He didn't have an issue putting a 9 year old asthma-ridden child's health in jeopardy! I called Robson because the gasket of my washing machine was leaking. We are in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. He came in using a mask. He was working upstairs (washer was upstairs), but when he came down, his mask was dangling down from his ear. So whilst he worked inside the house, his mask was off. I was not happy because my second daughter (9 year old) has asthma, so she has an underlying condition. After he finished, he left the house, and he told me that he would come back with the invoice. Next thing I know, he came in into the house without knocking the doorbell. I told him that I can follow him outside to pay for the services. We are trying to minimize people coming into the house. Guess what? Rob wouldn't leave. He said he was staying in my living room until he was paid. He said it was his company policy - he is the owner, so what company policy? We are in the middle of the pandemic, and he didn't want to social distance, and he refused to get payment outside the house in the yard. I am a woman with 3 girls in the house, and he stood in the middle of the living room, refusing to leave the house, tried to intimidate me, and jeopardizing the health of a 9 year old child. The washer is upstairs in the house, further away from where we usually gather, and I turned on the fan in the laundry room. Here he was being a jerk, in the middle of people's living room, where my daughter was playing and minding her business. I told him I am not the kind of person who would not pay, and he took our credit card info when we booked him, so there is no reason for him to be inside the house in getting a payment! Attached is a picture of Rob leaving my house after he finished the repair. He left the house to get the invoice from his truck. As you can see, my ring doorbell caught him without a mask. I told him that, and he argued that he had his mask on. Well, he had a mask, but it was dangling from his ear. He put on his reply below, that it is ok to have a mask off outside the house. The fact is: the ring doorbell caught him closing the door behind him. His mask was already off. He was already WITHOUT a mask inside somebody else's house, in the middle of a very deadly pandemic. Again, he doesn't have a problem putting a 9 year old CHILD's health in danger! This is a very deadly disease for people with asthma! I have the full video of him leaving, closing the door behind him, and his mask was already off. So if anybody wants to see it, it is available. In his reply below, he said that I should be expecting to expose my family to COVID by allowing repair people to come in. We try to limit exposure by having people respect our health by wearing a mask. We would never allow him in, if we knew he would take off his mask whilst working within our house. That was totally irresponsible of Robson to even say that. When he came out to take a look at the problem, he quoted me $265. And the price to come out of $65 would be taken off from the $265. When he came back, he charged us $405. He didn't even took out the initial service fee of $65 as he promised. And no, my husband never renegotiated the amount (as he replied). Why would my husband agree to a renegotiated price which is much higher than the industry standard? Why would my husband agree to a 52% increase from his initial quote? He is very very DISHONEST! I found him to be rude and dishonest. You might want to reconsider hiring this company if you do not want to get COVID-19, and if you do not want to get cheated or blackmailed (he won't leave or social distance from my family and my asthma-ridden 9 year old child, until you pay him 52% higher than the agreed upon price)! read more

I called 3 other repair services who were 2-3 weeks out for service calls. Robson Appliance scheduled me within a few days of my phone request and made an appointment that would work with my schedule. Robson is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and best of all, very strong (great physical shape)...he had to be in order to get behind my stackable speed queen washer and dryer that does NOT detach, first pulling it out from the laundry room closet and then pushing it back in. There was only a 2 inch gap from the top of the dryer to the door frame. He did by himself what it took 2 guys to do when the unit was originally installed in my home! I was very incredibly thankful! And then he stayed longer to show me how to do my own routine maintenance on the washer to keep it running smoothly! To all the sheeples out there...masks do not protect you against Covid, or colds, or the flu. Get a grip! First of all, you ought to be down on your knees thankful that there are people like Robson who will even come to your home and fix your appliances! You owe him an apology for sure! After reading reviews of companies dispatched by American Home Shield, I selected Robson based upon Yelp reviews to fix our built-in refrigerator which was totally dead. Contacted AHS and got a call from Robson the next day. They sent out a technician within one day for our refrigerator when we told them we were leaving on vacation. Rob came on time and after spending a while troubleshooting, determined that the main circuit board needed replacing. Part ordering and shipping took about 10 days and Rob came to install the part. He had a bit of trouble accessing the old circuit board but he fiddled and fiddled and eventually was able to replace the old board and install the new board, which solved my problem after turning on power. I highly recommend Robson Appliance for all kitchen and washing appliance repairs. read more
