Brought my 4 y/o daughter here for a same day appointment haircut, and they were able to fit us in within an hour's time. The woman that cut her hair was very nice and patient with her, and fortunately my daughter was at ease and comfortable with her. She did an overall great job, the facility was nice and spacious, and my daughter (and I) loved her cut. I wish the price a bit cheaper for a kids cut, but we voluntarily went, so I can't hold it against them. read more

Rustle was amazing. I called in the morning to schedule an appointment for my 4 year old son who did NOT want a hair cut. Rustle got us in that afternoon, no problem. My son cried at first and kept moving around. Not the best client, but Rustle was calm and patient with him and was done in about 20 minutes! Rustle just arrived in NLV and is the best barber in town. I went here not knowing how to explain what I wanted, and he was able to not only suggest a style but immediately compare to celebrities I would recognize. The salon uses high quality products like Clubman and plays great music in the background. I've been to a lot of hipster salons that try too hard. Blanca is my hairstylist every time!! She know how to do anything I ask, and really takes care of me. I have extremely long hair right to my waist and she always layers it perfectly. I also trust her with coloring my hair. She mixed the exact color I wanted and it turned out perfectly. Also with my hair being so long other salons want almost twice as much money to do what I want. Went in and asked if they accepted walk ins and the guy said yes it'll be a few mins .now i understand if you dont accept walk ins you can just let me know and ill go else where. Waited well over 30 mins.so the guy that told us a few mins finally finishes and goes to the next which im guessing its an appt.now you could of told me from the fricken beginning that it would be over an hour wait and i wouldnt of wasted my damn time .pretty rude if you ask me! I was recommended to this salon by my mother in law a few years back. I got my hair done here before, cut & colored both times & I was satisfied. Outcome and customer service were awesome! Would've been a third time, however 2 hrs before my last scheduled appt, they had a power outage. Understandable that they had to cancel with me since it was out of their control, but the reason I'm giving three stars is because they didn't try to reschedule with me. I'm on vacation now & I was really looking forward to having my hair done before leaving Vegas. I was also very excited because Rock A Do is one of the closest salons to me & I've seen pictures on Blanca's Instagram that inspired me. Guess my business wasn't needed that much. read more

Blanca is amazing! I just moved here from the SF bay area and was nervous about finding a new stylist, especially since my color is a very vibrant copper red which can easily go very wrong if not done correctly. Blanca absolutely nailed the color - it's perfectly even root to tip. I have long curly hair as well and very few stylists want to take the time to dry or style it, but she even blew it out straight - and very quickly at that. Came here to get my son's haircut, walked in an stood there for 10 mins before I was even greeted. Then someone finally walks up, well actually they were walking out of the salon and asks are you here for a haircut? I said yes for my son and then they say something in Spanish to another stylist and then says to me they have no one avail to cut hair. Never suggests a time to come back or asks if I'd like to schedule an appt for later or anything and then just walks out. I made a same day appointment and took my one year old son in for his first haircut! I LOVE the layout of the studio, which is retro/rockabilly themed, but not in an overkill way at all. Very slick lookin'! Julia was his stylist, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how my son's hair turned out. He wasn't scared at all but she still got him warmed up to the idea of the buzzing of the clippers by holding the vibrations of them against his arm. She was able to effortlessly work through his squirms and wiggles that started happening toward the end to achieve the look I was kinda going for! As we were getting ready to leave, a younger girl brought out a "First Haircut" certificate and a little clear bag to put a lock of hair in, which almost made me cry. So sweet. The whole experience lasted about 15 minutes or so! I'm very happy with our experience, and we will definitely be back!! My son looks SO FREAKING CUTE!! read more

I'm terrible at picking a hairstyle, so she designs and executes my haircut, color and style. Rustle is the man. I've been in Las Vegas for almost 7 years and finding a good haircut is few and far between. The majority of the really good barbers in North Las Vegas are Hispanic and unfortunately I do not speak a second language so sometimes it's a little difficult to communicate exactly what I want done with my cut. Rustle speaks english, though, so that was a huge plus for me. The biggest thing that impressed me was that I contacted him through Yelp this morning to set up an appointment and he was able get me in only a few hours later. The best part was that he was right on time with the cut and honored the appointment. I came to Rustle because my last long time barber (3+ years) was bad about staying on time with the appointments. He would take walk-ins right before my appointments and would have me waiting forever. I had to walk out of my last appointment because he spent over 45 minutes past my appointment time on a customer that he took prior to my arrival and I had to pickup my daughter from school. I was mad and decided to look elsewhere. This was my first cut with Rustle, but it won't be the last; he already knows he's my new barber.
