My group came here starving and this place did the job. We sat on the outside patio which has a great atmosphere of high tops, couches and a shuffle board table. We ordered wings which were said to be not that good by two people. I had the pizza with pineapple, pepperoni and jalapeños which was decent and I enjoyed it. The quesadilla was good as well. Brunch review: the service was a bit slow and server couldn't remember what we order, writing down our order would've been more efficient, but ok. Food arrives, visual disappointment ensues, I ordered eggs Benedict which is my go to. So, the home fries were cold and over cooked. The hollandaise sauce was tangy and eggs over cooked and Canadian bacon was a sliver of nothingness meat. I added a side of bacon which was also anorexic in size and somewhat tasty. Then server had a hard time getting the dishes off the table and ended up on me, to which he asked oh, are you ok. To which I replied, check please. It's a hit or miss based on the waitstaff. Like the concept of older Rock music videos displayed on screen while eating. Love music so I do appreciate melodies in my ear drum. The 3 stars boils down to service and food, particularly brunch. Like I said service fluctuates from attentive to inattentive disorganization. It's never consistent. The best waitstaff I've had thus far will have to be Julie and Alicia. Other than that, none are memorable. Had brunch once and will not repeat that mistake. The waffles had missing waffers/burnt, eggs were horrid and the menu was just lacking. Lunch, dinner, music and the relaxing/casual ambiance is why I will still frequent this place in hopes for good service always lingering when I do. First timer! I had heard good things about this spot and finally got a chance to try it out. Arrived on a weeknight and was able to get a table right away for 2. The interior was quite spacious with a variety of seating. There was also a large outdoor patio complete with string lights. The inside played music videos on TVs but also had other tv stations playing other things. Our server was friendly and attentive. We got the mojitos and they were delicious! To start we tried the poppers that were suggested to us which were pretty good. Nothing extraordinary and some were a little too raw for my liking. We also opted for the wings which we were pleasantly surprised about. Very flavorful, hot and delicious. Next up we shared the bacon ranch pizza. The dough was thick and fluffy if that's your thing. Pizza had plenty of toppings and overall was yummy. I got the club for my entree and it was thick! Only thing is it arrived on what looked like hoagie bread when the description mentioned ciabatta bread. Overall fresh ingredients and tasty. Have been meaning to stop in this place for a long time so while we were out shopping at the Outlet we decided to give it a try. The ambiance is very nice, very airy with high ceilings and large windows to let in lots of light. The service was very professional and cheerful. John our waiter was quick to come to see us after we were seated and gave us the time needed to review the menu before ordering. The beer selection is vast, but as it was a hot day we opted for the Orange Blossom beer which was a large Pilsner glass full of crisp and refreshing local beer. My wife had the Strawberry Fields salad with shrimp added, I had the Blackened Redfish and our son tried the Filet Mignon (his first time trying it). The salad was good. My fish was good, not ooh-ahh good, just good. My side veggies were way over cooked to the point of mushy. My sons steak was undercooked but they were super quick and attentive to resolve that, and the manager came out to apologize, which is always a nice and professional way to deal with these things, especially when that meal is the most expensive on the menu. His second steak was cooked right, but it was not as flavorful as a filet can be, so his first time was a bit disappointing. I will have to take the blame here as I should have taken him to a "steak house" for his first filet mignon. They did a good job, just a bit underwhelming. His masked potatoes and veggies were very good. We had the Purple Rain Beignets for desert and these were cooked to order and awesome. I will start this by saying I was in the hospitality business for many years. I understand that when it's busy it can get stressful but that being said I only have so many patience. My husband and I came on a Saturday to hear the band and we sat at the outside bar. We were greeted in a good amount of time but that's where it stops. He is a way more patient than myself. The bartender asked my husband if he wanted another beer and 15 minutes later he still didn't have it. We ordered a pretzel and it was at least 20 minutes to wait for that. Yet when my husband got a sandwich that was like 5 minutes. We asked for the check and that took 10 minutes. I used the ladies rooms and the place was a mess. When I got my food I noticed immediately that they gave me celery, I told them that I am deadly allergic to celery and when I am near celery I poop my pants. This is our go-to spot after we finish a grueling mountain bike ride in Ocala or Brooksville, on our way back to Tampa. We have tried several things on the menu including various burgers, salads and appetizers. Everything is amazingly delicious. A place like this could get by just on the amazing atmosphere (rock music memorabilia, videos and a beautiful building with plentiful outdoor seating) - but no, they deliver on the food. And the service is always excellent. We are fans of wheat beer and they always have a few selections on draft for us. The atmosphere is amazing!! We got the loaded fries as an appetizer and they were amazing. I had two lunch partners. One got the cheeseburger which they loved. The other lunch partner got the chicken teriyaki bowl. He said it was fantastic. I got a strawberry and greens salad with chicken that had way to much pepper dressing and had to send it back. There was so much pepper on it, it would have choked a dead horse. But they redid it and put ranch on the side and it was fine. The waitress was very slow to come to our table and to refill drinks. She accidentally put 2 salads on our ticket... we had to wait for her to come back to take it off. ( I take the slow wait staff with ease because most restaurants are struggling with full staff... so she could have been overloaded with tables) we were sitting outside under the over hang roof with the blowers. We told her we did not appreciate the attitude we were given and how we were treated and she immediately called her manager. When we expressed our concerns to management we were told we needed to leave the premises because we were making his employees feel uncomfortable otherwise we will be escorted by the police! Absolutely ridiculous! None of our concerns were being acknowledged. I've been in customer service for years and how the situation was handled left me speechless. The menus were kind of sticky but had lots of options. We went for the Buffalo wings, Pizza, and fries. The fries never came but the pizza was so delicious I didn't even care. I had the fish tacos (big chunk of fish, deep fried, with avocado and coleslaw). Had a nice taste. My hubby ordered the Turkey BLT with fries. Look good and fresh. This place is a solid 3+ stars. Only reason not a four or five was because the food was average, very good, but average. It was like most grill places. A big selection of beer!! I ordered a Tito's with club soda for my second drink ( double shot-tall) but could not taste the vodka at all. I think the team at this place is in desperate need of management and oversight. Just left the restaurant because after waiting for a table at the host stand for 10 minutes while they figured out how to sit a party of 6 with hardly anyone even in the restaurant, they seated us, a party of 2. No wait staff acknowledged or came to our table for another 10 minutes. And, when a waiter finally came over, it was to tell us that he was going to go find our waiter. Then another 8 minutes went by and we decided to leave. The host stand thanked us for coming in, not really even looking up to recognize they had just seated us in the last 20 minutes. I had to share with them the reason why we were leaving their restaurant. Go to Ford's Garage across the street. They run a tight ship. The burger was burnt despite us asking for it to be cooked medium. My sisters birthday was at midnight and we wanted to leave before. We arrived at 8:30 and didn't leave until midnight. The had a different menu online vs. what was posted outside by the waiting tables vs. what they provided at the table so that was a bit confusing. All three dishes in my party were not great. The sweet and hot chicken had too much breaded and no seasoning on the chicken - it was only added after the chicken was made. The gravy that came with it was jiggly and lacked flavor. Pair that with the fries and it was way too much starch. Then the sirloin steak was not good quality. The chicken dish had what tasted like rice from a box and the veggies weren't cooked well and had no seasoning. To top it off, the chicken was dry and hard - wayyy overcooked. We stopped in last night and was pretty excited, found a shared table in open seating and chatting with our table mates, ordered our drinks and dinner and enjoyed the vibe. Server was super nice and brought our drinks right away. Welp a lady came to our table and asked if we had ordered yet, we said yes and she quickly left.. About three minutes later another lady maybe manager came and said they screwed up and the table we were sitting at someone else wanted it and asked us to pick up our drinks and follow her, she presented us with a unclean table on the patio and told us we can wait till they clean it or we can sit inside. Umm wtf is going on here??? We chose to leave and she said umm do you want me to check how long till your food is ready? Wtf should we just eat that in our car??! If it's not open seating don't have a sign in front, don't have the host instruct to sit anywhere and if your business makes a mistake figure out how to fix it without unseating people who have already ordered. At least 7 places to eat in the same parking lot and we won't be stopping back in. And will be sure to spread our experience when asked for recommendations. read more
