The cheesesteaks are huge, good enough for a husband and wife to share one. The square Chicago-style thin crust with thick tomato sauce and cheese exceeded my expectations. We also had the combo pepperoni and sausage pizza slice. Excellent! They are famous for their tuna salad with sliced onions, small tomatoes, provolone cheese, and Romain lettuce. In the past my experience has been good. I've come in numerous times for a cheesesteak hoagie or pizza slices. Today, the usual lady wasn't in to take my order. My order was taken by a a man I'd never seen before. I specifically ordered raw onions on my cheesesteak as I always do. I repeated this request several times. I ended up receiving fried onions which I loathe on my cheesesteaks. My cheesesteak was as NOT good and a waste of $14.84. I pointed this out to the man that took my order and he said he repeated my order and told me I ordered onions and I reminded him that I kept saying raw onions. I didn't appreciate him speaking down to me and having no care whatsoever that I'm a repeat customer. I told him I won't be back and I will be informing my friends in the area of the poor service I received. Also, I don't know if they changed where they source their cheesesteak meat, but there was so much gristle in the sandwich which is normally not the case, but because the man refused to accept his mistake on the onions, I didn't even bother discussing the meat. I used to enjoy their cheesesteaks. The picture I posted is of a previous cheesesteak hoagie from here. I won't be back. I may consider going back if I hear the order taking person reverts back to the girl I'm used to who gets my order correct and provides caring service not arrogance. read more

I never thought I would again taste the best spaghetti and meatballs from a restaurant again! Then a friend mentioned how the pasta dishes here were as delicious as the pizza, steaks and hoagies. The food here is excellent. They don't throw pizza sauce over pasta- the sauce is superb. Many people can make meatballs- but not like these! Cheese fries are great. fast service quality food. cheese steak stromboli is out of this world pepperoni Stromboli as well. highly recommend. We have only had take out. But the restaurant is very spacious always a variety of pies for slices in the window. Rock Hill Pizza is the quintessential pizza place/lunch spot! The food is amazing, I mean look at the slice I got. Truly delicious. You can get a generous sized slice and a drink for less than $8 which makes for the perfect cheap but insanely satisfying lunch. The food comes out so fast which is perfect if you're trying to make it back to the office quickly. The woman who runs the show (Nicole???) is amazing! I am SO happy to have this new spot in the area. I think I've been 4 times already! Quick food right off 76 is scarce in lower merion until now! The food is solid and the menu is vast...considering it's a pizza place. They offer all sorts of pizzas, calzones, strombolis, pasta, salads, gyros, platters (chix fingers, shrimp basket), hoagies, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, cheesesteaks, clubs, burgers, quesadillas, paninis, etc!! I've had the harvest salad...really good, huge, definitely had leftovers. I've had a few basic pizzas...pretty standard NY style pizza. Tonight I had the california burger with fries and it was delicious! I ate the whole meal and I never do that! Restaurant is a BYOB. While they offer seating (indoor only), it's seating at a pizza place. I've always taken my food to go. I've driven past this former Lee's Hoagie House, a number of times, and was excited to see that a Blue Bell Pizza would be opening here. It opened two weeks ago as Rock Hill Pizza by Blue Bell Pizza, so the number includes a nice neighborhood touch. I wasn't too hungry, so I just picked up a slice of the Caprese pizza and a garlic knot. The pizza was absolutely delicious with squares crust, fresh tomatoes, slices of mozzarella and a tasty sauce drizzled on top. There is some seating here and a TV, which allows for folks to sit down and enjoy a slice. Altogether, this is a nice, new pizzeria, which is a good place to get a pizza! read more

This newer place next to the CVS in Bala Cynwyd has received some good press via word of mouth. The reviews are around the Nonna pie which faces still competition from Pizza Jawn and L'angolo. I ended up going with another rare specialty they make. I ordered one slice of meat lovers Chicago style. Total came to $5.04 for the heavy slice. Almost a quarter of a pie in total it was excellent. I'm not an aficionado of Chicago style by any means but enjoyed it. I'm more of a Giordanos over Lou Malanadis and this slice fit the bill. read more

Great pizza!! Ordered a medium plain pie and some fries late night and did not disappoint. The pizza was super cheesy and the sauce had great flavor. Crust was also delicious. The fries were crispy and delicious! Our order was ready in about 15 minutes! My boyfriend met the owner when picking up the pie and he was a super nice friendly person. 2/5 because while my two pizzas were pretty good--a tomato pie "grandma thin crust" style and a tomato pie "NYC" style, I was disappointed by what I saw inside the store behavior-wise. Pizza review: sauce and seasonings made the pizzas shine. They were piping hot when the girl at the cash register handed them over. Over the phone, I considered requesting extra sauce because places usually skimp on sauce/too much sauce dries out, but this was fortunately not the case; sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect. However, the dough was just *slightly* over-baked. Any time I bit into the crust, it sounded (and felt) like I was munching on a thicc pita chip (Stacy's chips, to be exact). In addition, view the picture of the pasta noodle I found in the one slice (no big deal). 4/5 General store review: I don't know what kind of world the staff are living in, but covid still exists and the omicron strain already comprises the majority of new cases in the country. Of the 4+ employees I saw, none of them were wearing masks. What good does the plexiglass barrier at the cash register do if the staff are consistently passing by next to you to get in and out of the kitchen area? It just adds to the irony (and hypocrisy) of the one notice on their door telling you to wear a mask indoors. Another yelp review described the abhorrent behavior of their delivery driver (Jim) who verbally and physically accosted them. I believe I saw him prepping to go on a run. Given their lax stance on masks, this review made complete sense. At least the place seemed clean and relatively organized. In general, though, they seemed rather unprofessional by their demeanors and other behavior. I get that the place is relatively new, but it's definitely something they should work on. Take it from me, I worked at a Domino's one summer and our employees behaved better in front of customers. read more

After seeing this place mentioned on some Facebook groups we drove the 45 minutes to get some takeout on Friday night. The food itself was really good. The Best of Both Worlds half grandma half grandpa was absolutely delicious. The Greek Salad was huge and had lots of feta and olives. Garlic knots were a greasy oily mess, so I'd avoid those. Low rating because of the pickup experience. Chaotic and disorganized with half completed orders sitting on every flat surface. Manager / person getting orders for people waiting was clearly stressed to the max and was about a curt and unfriendly as you could get. Our pizza sat on the counter for 5+ minutes while I was told twice that our salad was "being bagged right now". Finally she moved it to the top of an oven and 10 minutes later I could hear her asking about our salad again. Biggest strike was not one single person working there was wearing a mask. Manager / counter person even told a customer who asked about masks that "masks don't work anyway". Manager also continually moved from behind the plexiglass so even that wasn't shielding her from talking directly in people's faces. Whether it's mandated or not, food preparers and the person interacting with customers should definitely have masks. It's such a stupid philosophical hill to lose customers over. read more

Pizza here is the best around. I really like it. Other food I have ordered and/or picked up has been mediocre. Also I highly recommend not coming here on peak hours such as Friday/Saturday evenings. Literally waiting for 20-40 EXTRA minutes to pickup my order and the place is highly disorganized. There is usually a teenager running the register/orders and he seems to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Again, the pizza here is really good. If it were a little more organized I would consider another star and if the non pizza offerings were better I would consider another star. read more

A new spot for fantastic pizza in the Lower Merion neighborhood. Rock Hill has great service, great food, and friendly staff. We have ordered out 4 times since the opened. I think we have found a new favorite in the neighborhood. Their Grandpa Pizza with vodka sauce has become my wife's new love language. Highly recommended. read more

Order twice, both times got a Brooklyn with sausage. The first time it was phenomenal we couldn't stop talking about how good it was, but the second time it was OK at fast. Order takeout both times again first time fantastic, but the second time they messed an order up with somebody with the same first name and we had to wait more than 15 minutes after the time we were told to pick up. I have been complaining to anyone who will listen, especially my boyfriend, that there are no decent pizza places in the Roxborough area. We've tried them all. Local places that have gone downhill, crashed and burned, and the new places that are just plain terrible. Fast forward to last night when my boyfriend urged me to try Rock Hill's cheesesteak Stromboli. I was surprised how delicious it was and THE SAUCE!!!!! It was to die for. My boyfriend's buddy picked up a half plain/half pepperoni pizza today and let me tell you something. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! I am so happy and thankful that we found a new take out go to that serves real delicious food for a change and not the crap they try to pawn off in Roxborough. Definitely impressed with their pizzas. I ordered a boardwalk pie and the sauce was very tasty. This is one of their upside down pies. They also have a nice selection of slices -to go. I grabbed a slice of their regular deep dish. The crust was flaky and not too dense. Really good. That'll be my next order. I really enjoy a good chicago style pie. read more

i Would've given this four stars But the pizza margarita claimed to have basil and when I got it there was none, I looked closely and there were a couple flakes of dried basil (costs .02 cents). if you're going to have a margherita pizza you need fresh basil, simple as that, fortunately I had fresh basil in my garden but what if I didn't? And if they're sending me to do work I could just make my own pizza at that point. Would try again but they need to do fresh basil. Real Pizza and narberth doesn't do margherita yet they still have fresh basil all winter long, go figure. read more

Rock Hill opened during the spring/summer 2021. Their pizzas are delicious. They come with a variety of toppings. I love the pineapple on top of mine. aA for salads my favorite is Susette Sweet-Jack Daniels' Crispy Chicken and more. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but my experience didn't match the other reviews that I had read. The NY Style pizza was very soupy and the olives smelled horrendous. I ended up throwing it out.
