This is a tough one for me. I REALLY want to love this place but I have to limit it to LIKE. Lets start with atmosphere. This place is EXACTLY what you would expect a place with a name like Rock N Roll Meatballs to look like. Tons of music memoribilia and some hand painted artwork of iconic musicians. Flat screen tvs constantly playing 80's music videos. Even the bathrooms are rock n' roll with black toilets and sinks...just awesome! The staff is nothing short of perfect. Everyone is friendly, super helpful, and accomodating. I cant remember her name but I have had the same waitress both times I have been there and she kicks ass. Has the perfect look for this type of place and just a total sweetheart. Now the food. Don't get me wrong, its great! Everything is cooked to perfection and has a homemade quality to it. The chef/owner was talking to us and while they cant say that everything is made in-house, 85-90% of it is and you can really taste it. What keeps me from loving this place is the quantity/value. While everything tastes great, you just dont get a whole lot of it. I'm not saying they should be OVER filling every plate but I want to be satisfied when I leave a place and sadly, I dont get that way when I go there. Maybe if they increased the portion sizes a bit? Maybe 25% or so? Also, they serve everything on plates that are sectioned off so everything has it own little place. While that may appeal to the folks who don't like their food to touch, it tends to give the appearance of smaller size and lets face it, "perceived value" is a real thing in the resturant biz. I will absolutely go back at some point. The beers are cold and they have a really nice stage setup. Another one of those places that with a few small changes can really be amazing. read more

Came in for the first time tonight and upon one of the owner's recommendation, ordered the meatball flight. He said it was a good way to try out all the flavors, and he was 100% right. I have no complaints about any of them, but found the Pilgrim to be my favorite. He also recommended the Brussels sprouts w/Mikes Hot Honey - and they were crispy and delicious with the tiniest hint of sweet honey and a bit of heat. My husband raved about them and he hates hot honey. The last item that we got, and you guessed it - it was a recommendation as well - was the RnR Quad Fries. 4 different cuts, all seasoned and fried perfectly. Between our server and the owner, service was fantastic, and the music was '90s hair bands - it was almost like being back in high school without the cliques and homework. Super solid new place we tried this Sunday. I have never been inside this spot and was surprised how big it is. Great decor too. I am happy to find a place that serves smash burger but even happier that they offer a choice of 1 patty or 2. Let's be honest, a half pound of meat is too much! It's why we are getting fat! Give us the option of smaller portions and this place delivers. My daughter got the flight of meatballs, her fav was Swedish. Robot is a nice touch and talking point. Will be back. read more

Very fun experience. The decor is entertaining, warm and definitely on theme for the name of the restaurant. There are low tables, high tops, and a bar and we sat at a high top by the window which was a great location, out of the way and just quiet enough for good conversation. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, and was assisted by a server robot which was both cool to see in action and seemingly quite practical, as it saved staff from having to balance heavy dishes. We got: - The meatball sampler (from the apps section). This is a MUST if you go here. One of each meatball with their associated sauce and a small ricotta serving. See images. - Fried sprouts app. Tasty, a little on the sweeter side but very good. We are slightly more umami people, but I would still recommend - T-Day plate. A very fun combo, served in a divided plate (at least in my case) so good for picky kids (and adults) too. This comes witht the turkey meatballs, which were one of our favorites, mashed potatoes, carrots, and green beans. Potatoes, beans and carrots were all nicely flavored. Veg were more on the done side - will be perfect for some, maybe a bit more cooked than others would prefer. - Brisket meatballs. The favorite for one of our party of three. You can also make up a variety of plates and bowls by choosing your meatball type, a "base" and sides. I would definitely go back and recommend this as a fun experience. A few reservations: - There is what looks like a juke box set up there. Don't download the app to try to use it. It looks like it should work, but we found out after doing this that it isn't set up. Hopefully they will either set it up or turn it off. - One of our party noted they would like more variety. I didn't necessarily feel that way myself, but maybe another salad type option and one more meatball type (perhaps a vegetarian option)? - Personally I would like the veg slightly less cooked, but, as noted, the flavors were excellent. - For lunchtime, the music seemed a little loud for us. We looked around and didn't really think it was the right volume for the lunchtime clientele. Maybe that would be a good level at night. - We had a little trouble finding the restaurant because the vertical sign out front is a digital sign that displays other businesses in rotation. - We were slightly unclear on whether the parking behind was theirs and ended up doing street parking. read more

Been to Rock N Roll Meatballs a couple times since they've opened and both experiences were delightful! The atmosphere is fun and nostalgic. The music and the music videos playing along simultaneously brought me back to the old MTV days and lots of great memories of the music I grew up with. Close by street parking was very easy to find on both visits. Definitely a must try new to the restaurant scene in Manchester. Food was nothing short of amazing. Bacon wrapped Meatball appetizer was my favorite, Brussel Sprouts were crisped to perfection, PB & J wings- such a great combo, and Portobello Mushroom Fries were light and crispy. My daughter had the Pilgrim Ball meal, the meatballs were delectable and the sides showed an amazing attention to detail on their food quality. Service was top notch and on point. Christina was our server and was right on top of everything from the minute we walked in the door. Jon visited our table and made sure every aspect of our experience was great. Now open on lower Elm Street in the same building as Spider Bite. Formerly Angel City Music Hall, Rock N Roll Meatballs offers a fun atmosphere with a classic rock n roll theme here, which is operated by the same folks from KC's Rib Shack. There's memorabilia, gold records, framed pictures, guitars, large mural decorating the orange walls, digital jukebox, and flatscreen TVs showing classic music videos (over the speakers). There is ample table seating and seating up at the full service bar, motorcycles in the front windows and the music stage in the adjacent room, like before. The food menu offers several styles of meatballs including Swedish meatballs, beef brisket & onions, traditional Italian, pilgrim balls and fowl balls, appetizers, wings, salads, meatball sliders, meatball balls dinner plates/bowls, hot & cold sides, and a few desserts. The bar offers 8 draft beers, bottle/can beers, mixed drinks and cocktails. I stopped by Rock N Roll Meatballs for dinner and took a seat up at the bar. The bartender gave me a food menu and offered a drink (I got an ice water). There was also a robot server transporting food to customers in the front dining area. For dinner, I ordered the Headliner Meatball Meal ($18 plus tax) includes the meatball flavor of your choice on mashed potatoes, or cavatappi pasta and served with two sides. I also got a Side Salad ($4.50 plus tax). My food was brought over to me in about 10 minutes. The Headliner Meatball Meal plate was comprised of a bowl of 5 all beef meatballs with small chunks of onion & sliced mushrooms in a creamy beef gravy over al dente cavatappi pasta. The side of mashed potatoes was soft and smooth with a few potato chunks. The side of pasta salad had firm cavatappi, sundried tomatoes, kale, feta in an oil dressing. The side salad had fresh lettuce, chopped cucumbers, tomato & dressing on the side. I finished all of my food and passed on the dessert offer (tiramisu and chocolate mousse cake). The check with Toast QR code was presented which was $24.41 with tax and before tip. Overall, I really enjoyed my filling meatball dinner, the perfect tasty comfort food on a cold night. The music videos played on the TVs and over speakers during my visit were mainly 1980s era including classic hits by Poison, Def Leppard, Steve Winwood, Heart, Cyndi Lauper, U2, and Bruce Springsteen. I took my two boys here for Valentine's Day dinner because I'm ugly and nobody likes me. . The interior was clean with lots to look at, the music playing was throwback but not too heavy so you could have a conversation. The employees were wicked nice and down to earth. The food was good, we got two versions of the beef brisket meal which we both liked less the cucumber salad (too sweet) and we also got a meatball flight which my youngest liked, I'll probably try that next time. We left full and happy without too much damage to the wallet. One cool thing (kind of) is they have a robot take meals to the tables..... It's new and different, so cool but it seemed a bit wobbly, almost drunk swerving its way to our table. We went there on a whim, and because the concept sounded interesting to us. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding.

Was so hopefully about the Swedish meatballs but it left me preferring Stouffers frozen meatballs instead . I threw them out as inedible.

I would think that putting coupons in the mail would be for the purposes of bringing people in. So my neighbor and I went. We looked up the website, menu, etc. There was nothing about a show tonight. After finally finding a parking spot a block away and walking in, we were looked at by host staff like deer caught in headlights. Only to be refused seating due to a show. While waiting a lady at the door stated that they had sold too many tickets and didn't know what to do. That's when the host staff came back and said that they were closed to anyone not here for the show. So myself and my disabled neighbor had to leave and walk a block back to their car and find another place. On our way out we saw nothing posted about said show. If they've oversold the show that's not our problem and how awful to not even offer anything (rain check, coupon, something) to people who came to literally spend money at their establishment. Also, why not put a sign up or say something when we walked in if this were a possibility? If that lady was right and they oversold the show, that's very irresponsible and not the best business practice. If it's "oversold" I hope for the patrons and staffs safety, they aren't over capacity. Maybe the fire marshal should pay a visit. read more
