I asked for ponzu sauce on the side, but my Spicy Sashimi Salad was missing cucumbers, sriracha & eel sauce.

This was my first time here. I came here for a quick lunch. I love the decor & the music. I got the spicy sashimi salad. I asked for ponzu sauce on the side, but my Spicy Sashimi Salad was missing cucumbers, sriracha & eel sauce. I asked for the sriracha & eel sauce afterwards, but I didn't realize I was supposed to get cucumbers until after I finished my salad. Oh well. The sashimi quality was unfortunately not good. I also got a sake mule, which was ok. I love that their menu includes the calories on each dish! I would come back here again to try their ramen, and MAYBE try one of their rolls to see if maybe today was just a bad day for the kitchen.

Wanted to try out this place with my partner and we were created nicely by our server Joshua , he was very attentive and made sure everything was okay. But he did miss a few things on my partners order and out of being disappointed with the quality of food , she decided to opt out of asking about her miso soup ( nor was it offered at time of taking the order ) . The atmosphere itself is so cute ! I love how different it is compared to other sushi spots with the rock and roll theme. The food was very....average and unexciting. The fish did not taste fresh and roll lacked structure to the point it was falling apart. The only thing that we thought was good was the headbanger shrimp but everything else so severely lacking. Def wouldn't come back even if I were desperate.

I love the atmosphere and concept! Really cool vibe however this experience was very disappointing. I tried 3 rolls. The Thriller Roll, Sunset Strip Roll, and Pyro Roll. The sushi here is about as good as a supermarket deli case sushi a half hour before close. It was not fresh, dry and all three rolls tasted the same. I did get a free Chicken Fried Rice by signing up for rewards on their app. The fried rice was actually good. The only redeeming quality of this place was my server Joshua. He was great! He was courteous, attentive, and accommodating! But definitely no repeat visit from me

Music is a part of the theme but it wasn't too loud. Service was very good. Miranda was friendly and personable. For the food, here are the ratings I would give for my sushi entrees TourBus: 10/10 SweetHomeAlabama: 8/10 RockedLobster: 7/10 TourBus is baked, Alabama fried, and Lobster traditional so I like having a trio of flavors.

My sister and I love sushi so we decided to try this place for the first time. The environment is very fun and all kinds of rock music playing like poison , Motley Crue, yungblud, Aerosmith and more. It was really cold and the restaurant space was small and not a place that should be crowded. Our server was polite and attentive. When my sister and I got our food it was okay. Not good but not bad.. slightly the look of the place overrated my expectation on the food. The cool thing is your cup they serve your drink in , you get to keep like a souvenir which was pretty cool. The experience was fun but the food did not compare.

We've been to Rock n Roll Sushi three times since they opened, and it's been fantastic every time! The concept is so much fun--the rock 'n' roll music and music videos create a great vibe, but the volume is perfect for still being able to chat with your table. The outdoor dining area is also a great spot, and they could even fit a couple more tables out there. As for the food, everything we've tried has been delicious! The sushi, hibachi, and appetizers are all on point, but the jalapeño poppers are a must-try. We're so glad to have this new restaurant in Waterset and can't wait to go back... and finally save room for dessert!

The food was pretty good and our server Miranda was very professional and guided us through our lunch. We were in a little hurry and she got our meal out very quickly. We also had an issue with one of our dishes and she fixed the issue right away. Our food was really good, I had tempura shrimp with fried rice and my wife shrimp and chicken rice bowl with veggies. We enjoyed our visit here and we will definitely return. The restaurant is a themed rock n roll restaurant which I understand but the music was just a little loud. Also the parking is very limited so bring your patience

The place takes me back to my youth with a great vibe! Love the music and the staff. Our waiter was so friendly and wanted us to enjoy our meal!!! if you try the spicy foods but like the option to dip in something a little soothing get yum yum on side! Our price was fair for what we bought and we as a family of three adults left satiated and happy!

First time here. Got the spicy sashimi salad and spicy tuna roll. Both were very good. Salad was a very nice portion nice assortment of fish which was very fresh. That Thai chili sauce full of flavor. The spicy tuna roll was my favorite dish. Just a great roll. Atmosphere in the place is a cool vibe. Will def stop by again.

Everything was incredible from start to finish! We started with the jalapeño poppers, which were packed with flavor and set the tone for an unforgettable meal. Every roll we tried--the Crowd Surfer, VIP Roll, and Punk Rock n Roll--was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with bold, delicious flavors. Our server, Miranda, was exceptional. She guided us through the menu with great recommendations, kept our drinks filled without missing a beat, and made us feel genuinely welcome with her warm and friendly demeanor. To top it all off, we ended our meal with the Mango Coconut Rockstars for dessert--an absolute must-try! Sweet, tropical, and the perfect finish to a phenomenal dining experience. The place is very clean and music was totally fun to listen to while eating! They played lots of classic rock music and it wasn't too loud! We love the theme of the restaurant. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

I really wanted to like this place so bad because of how convenient the location is :/ unfortunately I just wasn't impressed. My husband and I came here for lunch today and got there right when they opened. They were not busy at all and we were actually the first people there today. We started off with some spicy edamame and headbanger shrimp. Both of these appetizers were pretty good. The shrimp were a little big for me as well, but that's just my personal preference. For our entrees we did the yellowtail nigiri, good times roll and crowd surfer roll. The sushi rolls were okay. The crowd surfer roll was a little soggy for me so the roll was kind of mushy. The good times roll was good with decent flavor. The nigiri was a little iffy, I would say that we have had better. The service was great and the waitress was very attentive. We were just disappointed in the quality of the food :/ I plan on going again and trying one more time, but may wait a couple months.

Everything was delicious. The rolls had great flavor and were very fresh and had a nice presentation. We also like that there was a good amount of filling in each role and it didn't have too much rice on the outside. We enjoyed the fried rice as it had a great flavor and was not salty and had a good amount of shrimp, chicken and steak in it. This will be our new sushi go to spot when we are in the area.

It's a great place to share a meal with family & friends. It was very comforting! We were greeted immediately by Dilara. She was so friendly and helpful throughout the visit. She even gave me a great suggestion on choice of drinks. The Milkis Banana Soda was the perfect fit for me. The restaurant started to get very busy at lunch time, and none of it phased her. She handled it like a pro. We started with the Corn Cheese appetizer. I would have never tried it if my friend had not mentioned it the day before. It was such a great shareable dish. It's delivered all bubbly on a hot plate. It looks almost like Mexican street corn, but it has a totally different flavor profile. It was almost sweet enough to be a dessert. I love that sweet cheese topping! It was a cold day, so we decided to get soup. I went with the Galbitang, and my friend selected the Soft Tofu Stew. It also came out bubbling hot, and served in its own cast iron pot. A very hot pot, so don't touch it. Lol! The rib meat was plentiful. There was a large rib bone in my soup. The meat was so tender, and fell right off the bone. The broth was meaty and full of flavor. There wasn't a whole lot of glass noodles, so I suggest you add the meat dumplings for an extra $5. Otherwise, just add the rice that comes with it. It was perfect with the rice. The banchan sides were also very tasty. I was surprised that the kimchi wasn't overly spicy. I really loved all the different flavors. What's even better is that they don't rely on salt to make it tasty. All the natural flavors of the rich rib meat shined through in the broth. It was a meal to be savored slowly as the broth started cooling off from the hot temperature. You can actually carry on a conversation while enjoying it, and not worry about your soup getting cold. Again, it was a very comfortable & enjoyable experience! We wanted to try the Korean Hotteok for dessert. Unfortunately, they didn't have any that day. I definitely want to go back and try that. I'm also very interested in trying their vegetable ramyun & gimbap lunch combo. There was a Bulgogi Wrap special that also looked very reasonable. They have different specials each month. Everything was great! I could definitely tell that a lot of hard work goes into making each and every dish. This hidden gem deserves multiple return visits. It's very close to the Manatee Viewing Center, so you might as well check it out while you're in the area.

Service was pretty good, our server was very friendly and helpful, but they seemed to be pretty busy so he didn't come around too much (which we also appreciated, as it was just enough space and attention). Food was better than I expected! All of the dishes were well-cooked and flavorful, the drinks (mango margarita) were a bit strong but loved, and nothing was too salty or too bland. We started with a dozen oysters which were very fresh and slightly chewy (different from northern oysters that I usually have), then had the cod, crab cakes, and snapper, all with well-paired sauces and great sides (the snapper was slightly overcooked). Everyone got complimentary sunset shots as the sun was dipping towards the horizon, and we finished off with a giant slice of key lime pie (that we couldn't quite fit in so we took back because it was too good to waste). Overall good experience and will definitely be back to try more!

I tasted more filling than crab in my small crabcake. The veggies were cool. However, the sauce was rather tasty. My wife had a similar experience. I also ordered the Key Lime. If you've seen many of my hundreds of reviews, I love me some Key Lime. Look, I became hungry just thinking about a slice. Regrettably, this Key Lime was disappointing in taste. The rather larger crust could've been outstanding, but alas, it too was plain. My daughter enjoyed her chicken salad but didn't like the salty fries. My mother-in-law didn't believe her Snapper meal was Snapper. She said it was moist. Yet, she said it was okay. Disclaimer: The Server was great, but she was taking care of a group of 14 people. The people who came out to help her deliver the food were ok. We asked several times whether the "Catch of the Day" was the Flounder. We were repeatedly told, "No." It was. Consequently, those who ordered it also had cooler food. I believe those issues contributed to the food temperature. This place came highly recommended. In short, I wasn't pleased with paying $164 for three mediocre meals. I encourage you to try them out. I plan on taking my wife back there on August 27 to give them another chance. I'm certain it'll be much better.
