Great spot a little hidden on the corner of Causeway and Falkenburg. I feel like I pass by all the time and did not realize it was there with so many other businesses!! Went next door for boba afterwards! Very nice spot for lunch! Great and quick service! Very casual spot. We ordered the Kiwami Ramen with extra chili oil on the side. The chili oil is made in house I believe and it was really spicy!! So be careful how much you put in. It was really yummy though and have a flavor profile I was very unfamiliar to in chili oils. Very unique. Ramen was serve HOT and so yummy. The pork had a perfect char on it. Not overly salty overall as some other places I've been to. For sushi, we ordered the yellowtail scallion roll, shrimp tempura roll, Tampa roll, and the fire cracker roll. All tasted really good and fresh. Overall really, really good experience!! If you are interested, I posted a quick mukbang on my TikTok! @itschristietran https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP82xf12k/

I'm really picky when it comes to both ramen and sushi. But, yeah, I'm definitely a fan of both here. Don't forget to take advantage of the bubble tea delivery service from OneZo next door. It makes the meal feel super fancy, almost like Taiwan. The ramen at Kiwami is the largest portion in Tampa Bay. I've had ramen from Fukuoka all the way to Hokkaido and this ramen is just as tasty. Wish there were more noodle options for how many broth options. But, what do I know. The rolls here are US style, portions are large, and cost is a few dollars lower than most sushi restaurants. This could definitely be a regular spot for me.

First time here with my mom and it's great! We got Pork Steamed Buns, Gyoza, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Karage Chicken Rice Bowl! Everything was very delish! Service was top notch and our server was on top of it! Very chill and laid back spot! Would def recommend and will be coming again!

Ramen was great! The broth was very rich and noodles are perfect chewy yet not too soft.

first time coming here . this was so delicious not very spicy as i imagined it to be but honestly had a good time & the service was great! they also had a great music playlist i loved the art on the wall too it caught my attention , super clean and loved my experience

Cute little hole in the wall spot near my house, so I thought I would check it out. The ambiance is very homey and comfortable, and the servers were nice and attentive! We got three rolls to share and they all were good, although I wasn't a huge fan of the sushi with the lime on it. It was very citrusy and just not really my speed. The volcano roll was good, but I felt like the cream cheese overpowered the taste of the fish. Not sure if I would come back for the sushi, but definitely want to try the ramen, since that is what I think they are best known for.

The Ramen is okay, but it just doesn't hit like before. The restaurant was a laid back vide with Japanese inspired themes and music in the background. Our server points us to our table and hands us menus to start. We always start out with an edamame appetizer and then go ahead and order the ramen. My partner got the spicy tonkatsu and I had wanted to do the "make your own ramen" option. I really wanted wagyu but didn't like the toppings it came with. So I just made my own, though it was very costly to add more toppings, so I just chose 2. Overall, the experience was okay. It's not the worse ramen place I've been to but I'll probably only swing my when it's out of convenience

We checked out a bunch of different restaurants, but they were all booked up. So, we ended up booking Wagamama for our dinner on Sunday night. After finding roadside parking near the restaurant, we checked in at the register and were shown to our table. Our server greeted us and provided us with menus. Following a discussion among ourselves and with our server, we began our order with a lychee martini and a coconut drift for drinks. For appetizers, we selected the Bang Bang Cauliflower, which our server highlighted as a very popular option, along with chicken pot stickers. For our main courses, we ordered the chicken pad Thai, Karage Chicken Strips for our toddler and the chicken firecracker dishes. Our drinks arrived first: a Lychee Martini and a Coconut Drift. The Lychee Martini contained a significant amount of vodka, so much that my spouse could only manage two sips. The Coconut Drift was better, but it still had an excessive amount of sugar. We got our Bang Bang Cauliflower appetizer. However, upon tasting it, we found it wasn't cooked properly. It tasted like they simply coated the cauliflower with sauce without properly cooking it. We were disappointed to have to return it. Following that, our chicken pot stickers arrived. The chicken pot stickers were just okay, without anything particularly noteworthy about them. They weren't even properly cooked around the edges. Both appetizers we ordered turned out to be disappointing. Our dinner arrived and included Pad Thai and Chicken Firecracker. Both dishes were just alright; they could have been better. Compared to how other reviews described them, they didn't live up to the expectations set by those reviews. We couldn't get the Chicken Karage Strips we wanted for dinner. We ended up having to comp the whole thing because even though the restaurant wasn't that full (only about 70-75% empty), we had to wait a super long time for the food to be ready. Our visit to Wagamama was so disappointing that we may not return. We were unhappy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere.

The two not so favorite dishes for me were the fried rice topped with fried chicken. While chicken was very tasty the rice was extremely basic. Could have used eggs or other ingredients to elevate this dish. Also the Volcano roll was extremely disappointing. Normally the volcano topping is cooked or (torched) and this topping was cold and very unappetizing. Would not recommend this roll. Overall this place is a hit or miss. When your food is ready, they call your name over a microphone and you bring it to your table, which is available on a first come first serve basis. There's not really anyone working the front counter, which I thought was interesting. There's picnic tables out front where people were sitting with their dogs, so appears to be pet friendly outside. I had the curry with tofu and vegetables. I ordered spicy and enjoyed it. The heat kind of creeps up on you. I will order this again. BF had the chicken katsu - the chanko sauce was so good on it. The pickled daikon is a great touch, and if you like pickled veggies, that tiger slaw is AMAZING. We ordered a small plum wine to split. Portion sizes are HUGE, so I appreciated that everything was served in to-go containers. We definitely had leftovers that I may or may not have eaten for breakfast this morning. One thing I felt could be improved is that it's a little warm inside. Clearly they know that because there were fans on the counter. It's Florida and it's summer and their kitchen is busy in a small space, so probably the A/C is just a little overwhelmed. Great place overall.
