She just said, "They are pork." But the correct thing to do in that situation is to remove it from the check. It wasn't eaten, minus the one I bit into and thought the meat tasted funky, so hubs ate a bite and had to spit it out because the meat tasted like it was old breakfast sausage. The broth is rich, flavorful, and exactly what I look for in a great bowl of ramen. The chashu pork is also excellent, and they give a generous amount of meat compared to another ramen restaurant I recently tried. I actually left that other place disappointed and still hungry, but this bowl definitely filled me up. This visit didn't taste quite as perfect as I remembered the first time, but it was still absolutely delicious and well worth it. Whenever I'm back in town visiting my parents, this is one of the restaurants I'll gladly come back to.
