Great quick lunch! Came in at 12:00 and was served instantly. The California roll was great, the salad a bit salty... but good. Great sushi in no time.

Had a great time with my young man enjoying miso soup, boom boom shrimp, cucumber salad, and the Journey roll. (The roll was my fave and had a fruity flavor) On past visits I have enjoyed the Motley Crew roll and it's my favorite of all time! I'll be back soon - love the convenient location!

It is my first time eating here, and I have to say I was blown away. I got the Jimi Hendrix roll, made a substitution and got tuna instead of the tempura shrimp, the roll consisted of tuna, avocado (I think maybe cuke) cream cheese, w fresh mango, sweet chili sauce and eel sauce on top! Out of this world. Soooo good. This is a small hole in the wall w tons to look at. The walls has a rock n roll theme, duh, w cool murals and the menus are made if old record sleeves ( great idea). The employees were super nice, and clean, place over all was amazing. I'd give this place 5/5 for overall experience, looks, cleanliness, comfort, flavor and taste! Thanks Sarah you were a great server!

First time review...100 times visited! This place is my go-to for their custom rolls that pay homage to traditional sushi but venture out into the new world a little. The atmosphere is always nice. My kids LOVE this place and keep begging me to take them back. Today (see pics) we had some edamame appetizer, a California Roll, the Beatles Roll and the Metallica Roll. Each was delicious in it's own unique way. Love Rock n Roll Sushi! Will continue to come back!

    Spider roll

First time here, pleasantly surprised based on the 3 stars this place has! Service was friendly and speedy, stopped in for some sushi on a Wednesday and it wasn't crowded. This place isn't very large though, so I can see where it would be hard to find a place to sit if it's busy. The sushi had great flavor! We ordered the Michael Jackson roll, Def Leppard roll and roll of the classic menu (spider roll). YUM! Maybe because both the hubs and I lean towards rolls with spicy mayo and eel sauce but dang it had all the flavor I could ever want. The spider roll is more like a tarantula roll because it was HUGE as far as roll diameter is concerned, but still tasty none the less. We also ordered a side of fried rice with yum yum sauce and the fried rice was surprisingly good, I think it has a seasoning that gives it an extra umph! Finally, the vibe of this place is cool. It's just as the name said, rock n roll and sushi! Will definitely be back.

Not a typical Japanese restaurant. This place was so fun to eat at. The decorations and theme was all about Rock n Roll. Event the sushi names on the menu were related to Rock N Roll. It was nice and different to walk into a sushi place with a theme. The description of each roll were mouth watering. It is as good as its described. Their food were fresh and and full of flavor. The rice in the sushi were cooked perfectly. The only thing was that I wish they would serve clear soup. The service was great. The sushi were good.

The rolls here rock. Rock-n-Roll Sushi puts a cool new twist on traditional rolls, adding special touches (like topping them with steak or jalapeños!) and then naming them after famous bands. You'll order rolls like the Michael Jackson, the Heart, the Guns 'n Roses, and more--all from menus creatively fashioned from old album covers. The atmosphere reflects the name with cymbals and drum sets affixed to the walls. I had the Heart (baked) and liked it slightly better than the fried Michael Jackson. The wantons are fairly standard but equally delicious. Friendly staff. Meals can be pricey, depending on the rolls selected.

    Crispy crab wontons

First timer here. Service: Employees aren't really friendly & they do look sad - as a previous Yelper reviewer! Not a welcoming place. But as a server - made sure we were okay. Food: most of the menu was pretty much cream cheese, fried, & covered in a sauce! So I had a difficult time choosing what to order. Ordered spicy tuna sashimi salad; not bad. Would order again with less sriracha. But they should just replace the bed of spring mix with more cucumbers and avocados! Definitely spicy. Ordered "crispy crab wontons," it definitely doesn't look like the picture on their website. I didn't try it, but my friends enjoyed it. Happy hour for 5 pieces for $5. Ordered "Bama Roll" (happy hour $8) way too much cream cheese and tasted okay; wouldn't order again. Personally, I would not go back to this place because of sushi rolls & unfriendly business.

Really good sushi!! The concept behind the restaurant is super cool, and the fact the food matches the decor is a huge plus.

Anyway for some reason they were on my mind and I decided to drop by. When I walked in there 2 customers who were waiting for their order. I looked at the menu and as always if there are various options I get overwhelmed. This is not a bad thing but I was hungry so I tried to make a quick decision. I went with the house combination sandwich. Why? I believe the main reason because it had pork in it. I really have no idea. I don't really see too many restaurants have pork sandwiches. I mean there are ham sandwiches but that seems different. Anywho, I also ordered fries and a coke. I wish there was a combo meal option but that's not the issue at hand. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This was a plus because I didn't have worry about being away from my work computer too long. When I got home the first thing I noticed were the fries were very hot. I mean so hot I didn't have touch them to find out. The box was on fire almost. They also provided ketchup packets. The fries were hot and delicious and not too salty. They had a real crunch that I like on my crinkle cut fries. Now the sandwich was a perfect complement to the fries. It was so delicious. I don't have the name of the greens we're on the salad but I'm pretty sure they're used in a lot of Asian dishes that I've had before. The carrots added a little crunch to the sandwich as well. Now the meat part of the sandwich was glorious. The pork and other meats were blended so well with the spices that it created a very glorious taste. It was so good. 5 stars.

At Quickly they have a huge selection of every flavor instant-ramen/ramyun you could think of. The only ONE negative thing is I couldn't find any instant tteokbokki packs (it's my favorite snack food, legitimately). They also have a huge selection in their ice cream shop, korean corn dogs (do I need to mention I'm drooling again?), and abilities to make drinks. I got a red bull infused mixed drink and it was fab. They also cute kawaii toys for purchase in the store side. That brings me to the claw kingdom. WILD. I felt like I transported to Japan fr. I worked so hard and eventually won a little hello kitty charm toy and a friggin hedgehog stuffy. I don't want to talk about how much money I spent on tokens, it's irrelevant. Hahaha. Anyway, yall go check out Quickly, Hero Claw Kingdom, and Chamay. It's super cool. I'm rating a 4/5 because out of the 100+ instant packs of food, not ONE tteokbokki was found.

They import special snacking items like Korean turtle chips and specialty fruit ice cream bars. They have an expansive boba bar and much more. The people who work there are not especially talkative or engaging so don't expect much in explanations of dishes. And as the day progresses the cleanliness takes a dive until the next day. Give it a shot but I'd order to go and enjoy at home.

Type of Food: Asian Fusion / Pan-Asian (featuring a mix of Japanese sushi, Hibachi, Chinese classics, Thai noodle dishes, and Vietnamese Pho). Wok by d'Bay | Local Chinese Foods Review: Wok By D'Bay is located in a nice boutique area on Fairhope Ave, but unfortunately, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I placed a takeout order, and it quickly became obvious that takeout customers are not a priority here. The staff focused heavily on seating and serving the people walking in for tables instead. To make matters worse, there was almost zero communication about the status of my order, and my food sat completed behind the counter for quite a while before anyone finally handed it to me (didn't know at the time). When I finally got the food, it was just okay--nothing special--and the high prices felt completely unjustified given how small the portions were. It might pass if you just happen to be in the immediate area and need a quick fix, but the lack of service standards means you are better off looking elsewhere. Cons: The service is incredibly slow for takeout, communication is poor, and your food may sit forgotten on the counter while dine-in tables are prioritized. Additionally, the prices are high for the small portion sizes you receive. Thumbs up / Thumbs down: Thumbs down (I would look for good food elsewhere).
