So I was here on Friday (July 6th) on a date night with my boyfriend. I must say the food was an A+. The service sucked. We sat at the outside table because it was a little busy inside. (Which is fine.) but to be acknowledged then wait TEN MINUTES or 15 minutes at max. Just so our server can hang out at another table and hold a child. And completely ignore us. That's ridiculous. I am a server and I even know better than that. Whenever I had to come inside to get a server to take care of us. She was super rude about it when I came inside. Well finally a different server came and got our order and took care of us. Got our food. Then took another 15 TO 20 MINUTES TO GET OUR TICKET!!! Not to mention I watched people walk in an out of that place. They probably would have never noticed if we left without paying. (Pretty sad.) After we finally got our ticket paid and what not it was pretty funny to see she could quickly come out and take care of the other table that sat outside as well. Safe to say that I will NEVER be eating there again or spending my money there. And she's lucky she even got a single dollar from my boyfriend. Cause she would've gotten NOTHING from me. read more

Disappointed. The restaurant was busy and it seemed that the servers were frazzled by this. I placed a togo order. The wait time was very reasonable. I took my food and started eating it on the way home. The fried rice was very bland and after two or three bites I ended up choking on a piece of hair. I will not be returning! read more

My experience was fantastic and the sushi was amazing! I am definitely going back again! The waiters were nice and helpful. My boyfriend and I were planning on getting a Togo order but we decided to stay instead. Good choice and we look forward to returning. read more

First and last visit to this locale. Positives: The place is small and intimate, we were greeted by a very amiable and nice waitress with good energy throughout our service. Many of the specialty rolls are named after rock groups or rock stars. So it was a great start - then reality set in. We immediately noticed that the menus are old album covers that are very worn. To the point, ordered three basic rolls and a non fish plate. The rice was not properly prepared; it was gummy rice, not sushi rice. The rolls were sloppily made, non uniform and not appetizing to view; picture 1/2 to 3/4 inch of compressed rice around a small piece of fish and a random spray of spicy mayo on top. That was a spicy tuna roll. The other rolls were on par with the aforementioned, and the non fish plate was a huge portion of the same rice, with some sauce and very little meat product. When that plate arrived it looked as if it'd already been eaten or picked at; again non appetizing to look at. The very nice waitress was obviously attune to the situation and upon seeing how little we ate got us our bill and never asked the typical phrase of "how was it". EXCELLENT fresh food. Enviroment is interesting they use old vinyl album covers for menus nice decor and very nice bar. Staff was very polite. Very modern type of bar. 90s music playing overhead tvs behind bar. read more

The service was excellent and my salad was great, but I don't think the sushi (rice) was seasoned at all (with rice vinegar, salt, sugar), the fish was very bland, and the rolls were stuffed with half rice and half fish. read more

Food is ok but the service is terrible. I'm not a hard person to please but I had to stand and wait to order my food and when it was ready, she just tossed it in front of me. I had to ask if it was even mind. No smiles and no thanks for your business. Everyone working looked miserable. read more

I think I was there when "Sara A." was on 12/2/2015. The waitress was on the phone with a MANAGER handling a problem for a customer. By my watch it took about 5 minutes. The waitress ended up paying for the customer's meal out of her own pocket. That makes her a hero in my eyes. Shame on some people for being so impatient and selfish. By the way - she also paid for "Sara A.'s" drinks to make up for her wait. Some people are ridiculous! read more

Rock-n-Roll Sushi is one of my favorite places. I refer people there all the time when they ask for recommendations. I use to go there once a week. The waitresses are absolutely amazing. I love them! They are very attentive and helpful. They know what they are talking about when I ask a questions. Most of all they are extremely nice! The food is phenomenal! The Heart roll is my favorite. However, the quality of the food has slowly gone downhill. The creamy crab topping has gotten horrible. The last time I got a roll there I had to scrap the topping off to even attempt to finish it, which I didn't. It was chewy and rubbery and they spicy mayo isn't the same either. I don't know why the quality of the food has gotten terrible in the past weeks, but I do know if they don't fix this issue, they will lose business... Because they have lost mine. read more

Food was absolutely delicious but...the service was so incredibly terrible that I would never dine-in there ever again. We got there at 5:35. We ordered at 5:45. When we ordered our dine-in order, we also ordered a to go order. We got our food around 6, and we were done around 6:10. The chef called out to our waitress that the to-go order was done around 6:13, and she said "I know". We never had our drinks refilled, and she took our cards and had them sitting on the counter for ten minutes. Meanwhile the to go order is still sitting in the counter waiting to be bagged up. The chef seemed to notice that we were pretty irritated. Once we got our cards back, we still were waiting for another 15 minutes to get our to go order. Eventually we got up, and told the chef that the order sitting there was ours. He bagged it up for us, and we were on our way out at 6:40. All this would be understandable if it was busy, but there were three people in the restaurant at the time. That's all. read more

. I went to Rock-n-Roll sushi with some friends for the first time. My friends love sushi, while I don't like it at all. I was expecting (like most sushi places) to have other options besides sushi, like hibachi type chicken or beef, fried rice, vegetables, etc. However, much to my dismay, this place had no options for non-sushi and non-seafood eaters. They had sides like fried rice and ginger salad, but no true meal. I did order the fried rice side and it was a generous amount of rice and very well plated. I also decided to order their vegetable roll.... I did not like this at all. The seaweed wasn't my cup of tea. The restaurant was relatively quiet, yet the waitress was very slow. I got no refill on my drink (maybe because the cups are dark and you can't tell if it's empty or full). I will not be returning due to poor menu options. I give this place a 3 because for sushi lovers, it seems like heaven! Sushi appears to be reasonably prices as well. read more

If you're wanting sushi that's not drowning in some kind of sauce and deep fried, maybe choose elsewhere. The first time I ordered from here I got the crunchy spicy tuna. The online menu didn't mention that the roll was fried so I was disappointed when I found a roll with cooked fish. Of course that was my fault because when you order takeout sushi from a place you've never been, you never really know what you're gonna get. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again, this time getting the tuna twister, a ginger salad, and one of the special rolls. The lettuce was wilting in my salad and the tuna was definitely not yellowfin. Probably big-eye if I had to guess, but it was not super high quality fish. Okay honestly it was awful...I couldn't finish my tuna appetizer it was just bad. All of the special rolls kinda sound the same. Most have shrimp tempura, cream cheese, some kind of fish, and are smothered in mayo based sauce. This place is nothing spectacular. read more
