Ok seriously... I have eaten here several times. I love the food. After the service lately I'm not going back. The last time I went here I left because I waited for 30 mins and no one ever took my order. Time before that I had to ask someone to wait on me. Decided to give it one more shot because apparently I don't learn my lesson. Today I got my food and an hour later my husband still hadn't got his order. Our waiter was very sweet and apologetic but COME ON! We finally asked for the our check and left without him eating. Well it started out ok. I had high hopes. Place was busy when we walked in. We were offered a table right in front of door or to sit at the bar. We chose the bar......we chose poorly. No bartender here. We waited a while a a young lady came took our order. She was nice personable, we got our first drinks and order quickly. Everything after that was incredibly slow. I think the server had tables all over the restaurant, doesn't appear they work in sections more like rotating tables throughout the restaurant which equals chaos. The manager sitting at the end of the bar on his laptop was not engaged. Pretty sure the server next to him wasn't thrilled about being at work. It's a no for me. read more

First, This was a D'DASH order. I'm a Commercial Driver and M/Boro is home to a degree. That being said, twice a week I am in Cali. and at one of my drops, there is a Japanese Sushi joint that I will walk over too. The Sushi/Food is seriously GOOD in my opinion! The Family that runs the place always treats me like a KING when I show and I have leftovers for three days. I tell them "No" but I walk out with a sack full anyway. I have tried probably all the Sushi here in town only to have Paprika for the Fish Row! Thanks Rock N' Roll Sushi for some REAL sushi/sashimi! My Youngest Daughter is an AVID fan and turned me on to this type of food. I one thing I love is, I don't feel like I have eaten a Greasy Concrete Brick and then want to take a four hour nap afterwards. I WILL order again! read more

Went here for lunch. Interesting atmosphere with music videos playing for entertainment. The record album menu covers were cool to see, great idea. The waitress we had was really nice and did a good job, despite waiting on a majority of the tables. It was rather busy for a weekday lunch. We got the egg roll appetizer, which was really good. Wanted to try this place since I saw it open recently. The vibe inside is cool, but it is super loud in there. The service was good. They even put your drinks in cups you can take home. The fried wonton appetizer was amazing. However, the food was way overpriced and the fried rice from the hibachi in the kitchen was not good. The kids fries and nuggets were not seasoned at all. This place has a lot of good things going for it. The sushi, while mostly shrimp-based offerings, were very good. Once you go past the shrimp, your options fall off quite a bit. There are a few tuna, eel and soft shell crab items, but by in large you're options are shrimp in some form or fashion. I had the headbanger shrimp- tempura style fried with a good bit of kick- and the crowd surfer roll, a high end fried shrimp roll with some tuna & topped with jalapeño. Taste wise, the food was pretty good. This isn't a place that is going to give you delicate Japanese flavors, as the name would suggest. You're getting entry-level sushi for people who don't want anything to do with raw fish. If you're wanting upscale Japanese cuisine, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. This is a kitschy Rocknroll- themed place that substitutes sushi for burgers. Perfect for the residents of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. What I did find bizarre was the server who, when I asked for the wifi password, told me to hijack the signal from the next door restaurant Penn Station. BAD MOVE. If the owners would bother checking with their corporate counsel, they would be told this could open them up for a huge lawsuit should someone steal their online info and wreak havoc on their personal information. Bottom line: food is ok, decor is fun and unique. If you don't expect more that fast food sushi, you'll be happy. read more
