Ordered take out from Rock N Roll Sushi. I was feeling under the weather and the kids chicken ramen sounded like a good, basic meal. Upon returning home, realized my ramen was not in the bag. My husband went back to the restaurant to get it, which was a pointless trip since it 100% was instant ramen. The other items for my husband weren't much better. The tuna nigiri was tragic looking. I'm writing this as we are still waiting for our food. We have a group of 5. one person got their food after 30 minutes. The rest of us are still with nothing 70 minutes in. The waitress has told us 3 times over the last 25 minutes that the food is ready. It's very clear they prioritize take out over in house seating. The menus were very sticky. When the food finally came most was cold. We never got our salads. And had to ask multiple times for sauce. This was a bad fist impression. Frances was our server and she was phenomenal...she greeted us warmly upon being seated and brought drinks out pronto. Again...the food was exceptional. They are in BAD need of Management. Went there on Wednesday 7/1/26. at 2:35 pm. Ordered a Beer and a Rocking Chicken Bowl with a side ginger salad. The Sushi maker took my order. After about 30 minutes the server asked me if I wanted Yum-Yum sauce. When I said yes he put it in the Bag that was sitting on the Counter for about 10 minutes. When I was paying for my order, it was not right. The server went and got the cook from the kitchen who then came out and told me I ordered wrong. paid for my beer and left the food on the counter. Skylar the manager happened to be our very lack luster waitress, we had to wait to place our drink several minutes after seating ourselves at a dirty table because none were clean! We then had to hunt her down ( not difficult she was too busy talking) ask for the lemons that were requested from the beginning, then needed napkins, we had to go to her again to request napkins, which we then waited another 5 mins for, she finally took our meal order, only to ignore us and our food that was pinged 15 minutes prior because she was too busy socializing, then lied and said she was waiting on hibachi, all of our food was cold. I made her aware of how unhappy I was. She basically didn't care, I asked to speak to a manager and she claimed she was. I proceeded to share with her that she was obviously too busy socializing to take care of other customers. We made the choice to pay for the appetizer we ate and left after she was rudely stating that she didn't need to remake our orders! The fact that this establishment was open on New Year's Eve with one cook in the building from what I observed. He really did and amazing job as well he was pushing out the food in a timely matter. Big sushi conassuer and I was not impressed. Some of the rolls were not properly prepared and fell apart easily. This is just the elementary mistakes that can be fixed. The ginger was dry and hardly added any flavor distribution with any of the rolls I had and I had 3 different ones. The service was good enough to avoid complete disappointment, but certainly room for improvement. Atmosphere was alright, for me I can tell we're the music was coming from, but for someone who might not be it can be confused consider they had multiple TVs on playing music videos.
