This is by far the best tattoo parlor that I've encountered. The environment is super relaxed, the store is SUPER clean, and the artists take care of their customers by any means, and their work is phenomenal (look at their instagram). I've seen them stay open until 4 in the morning because when they promise their client they'll get it done they make sure everyone is taken care of. My recent piece was inspired by my new born son's toy that he sleeps with and I wanted it too look like a photo realistic marshmallow and they nailed it! Well after driving around San Diego yesterday I got the vibe from bobby Flores at Ink Pushers. From the moment I walk in I was treated like a good customer and not some person they could slam. Most shops today treat you like they are doing you a favor, not Bobby, and not Ink Pushers. My daughter recommended Jacob to do my tattoo just like hers, even in the same spot. But trying to get a hold of him is like pulling teeth let alone trying to get him to do a tattoo even worse!! So he recommended that I go to Luis since he's sooo busy. And Luis is great at writing he said. So I did, picture is attached, mine is the bottom one done September 2018. Look at the feathers, the lines, the letters even look horrible, everyone asks what's that say?? Doesn't even look like my daughters very disappointed with it. I definitely would not recommend Luis, not even sure about recommending Jacob since you can never get ahold of him, unless you book him a year in advance. read more

So I got my tattoo done here on May 26th 2012., it is now October 15th 2012. Almost 5 months ago and the tattoo STILL looks messed up so it's not "still healing" as they tried to tell me. *see picture I just took today* I went to other shops and they all told me that this is the way my tat is going to look, it's done healing and it healed this way because the guy who did it, Pete, messed it up. The skin looks wrinkled and popped out like a scar. you can physically feel the tattoo as you run your finger over it. I've gotten plenty of other tattoos and this has never ever happened. It's so disappointing that this "artwork" came from a shop.. Because judging from the looks of it, it looks like a tattoo I got in jail or from a guy's garage. I don't know if the other tattoo artists are as bad at Pete so I won't say don't come to this shop.. But DO NOT GET TATTED BY PETE. read more

So. I got my first tattoo by Mr. Chance on my 18th birthday, it was a simple two stars intertwined. Fastforward a few years later, I am now pretty tattooed, and continuing. Chance and I decided to start up my sleeve a few years back, but we never got around to it until this past month. I've gotten multiple tattoos here when they were located on university and I absolutely loved them. Unfortunately when they moved to El Cajon, I came across an artist named Kevin. We booked a tattoo and talked about prices and set a date for my tattoo. I had to cancel a little over a week in advance due to me finding out I'm pregnant. Messaged him and told him and was told I'd be getting a response back about a refund for my deposit. Nothing for days, when I came to the shop to ask he then tells me they're non refundable and that he can reschedule. Me being pregnant obviously I do not want to schedule months in advance and that he will not he giving me a deposit back. When I asked why it wasn't specified when I 1st reached out to him he then replied with "100 ain't shit to me, I'll be back" proceeded to walk away laughing with an attitude. He never returned back. I will never book or come back to this place because of his attitude and demeanor. As my friend was in for an appointment he proceeded to lock the door from the inside preventing anyone to come in, as a female she felt very uncomfortable and asked him to unlock the door because she did not want to proceed any further with him. I went in this past week for a quick fix to my earrings that were stuck on a plastic backing for months! The piercer was nice but I was very disappointed that I left to go get some cash out of an ATM, which their machine was not working, and they are switching to cash only, not helpful for most of us that don't carry cash, regardless she threw away my earrings into the sharp medical used needle bin! She did not even ask me if I wanted them back, she just assumed I didn't want them because I wanted the earrings out of my ear! The earrings were small but were sterling silver opal and had been given to me by a sick relative on an American Indian reservation, she took my number down but that was days ago, I'm sure I won't be getting them back but I was very upset she didn't even ask if I wanted to keep them! Not thinking at all! August 25th Shop manager left me a text message to call him and with the picture of my earrings!! He pulled them out of the bin and was very apologetic, I understand and I am grateful for the return of my earrings, very nice of him to do so!! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. First the shop is ill of amazing people. It's like you are hanging out with your friends when you walk in. Second the shop is clean and everyone there is on top of everything staying clean. (Super important in a tattoo shop). My tattoo, a realistic baby sea turtle was done by Kyle (soulcollector87 on Instagram) in two sessions. Before I even went in for the tattoo we had a consult and came up with the perfect design. After session number one I was very happy with my tattoo. Kyle did a great job. He took his time to make sure the turtle looked realistic. We set up an appointment to do touchups once the tattoo was healed. After session number two...I have no words. The turtle is absolutely perfect. It's beautiful. I'm in LOVE! Kyle added even more detail and transformed the turtle into the most amazing piece of artwork. The detail is incredible. I'm ecstatic! I actually won 1st place in a horror tattoo giveaway he wad hosting and we decided on creating a portrait of Chucky and Tiffany. The entire tattoo took about 10 hours and i am not joking when i say this is the least painful of any other tattoos i have gotten and they are all alot smaller. On top of creating the best portrait i have ever seen he is such a good guy, i will not be going to any other artist from now on. I've been meaning to write this for awhile. I started a sleeve with a artist that worked here. The artist has left that shop and I decided I no longer wanted to work with the artist because he was a scum bag. I then asked Jacob if it was against tattoo code or something for him to finish my sleeve. He said no and he would help me. He then took weeks to reply and kept stringing me along for over a month. He made me drive 35 mins to take a picture of my arm. Briefly ask me what i wanted then shuffle me out the door. He didn't take a outline of my arm or measure. Then when i sent him referance pictures he told me they weren't detailed enough. I have all the screenshots of how hard it was to try and get anything confirmed. I was nothing but respectful and just wanted to finish my sleeve. If he couldn't do it or didn't want to he had plenty of time to tell me. I really liked this shop for its cook atmosphere and i thought everyone here was super chill. I have multiple pieces from them. This experience with jacob has left a bad taste in my mouth. A friend of mines told me how he stood her up or was late to appointments. read more
