Out of this world good! You can taste the freshness and home cooked style of these dishes…read more Bloom is beautiful and nestled inside a lovely garden and greenery spot. I can't wait to be back and try more dishes, especially lunch. Also, A+ on customer service. There was a mishap where our drinks were grabbed by someone else. The baristas jumped on it quick and remade all the drinks on the spot.

My first time coming here was for a yelp event last year that I absolutely loved and I'm sad to say…read moreit didn't quite live up to the hype. By no means was it bad but it was definitely not as good as the event. A ham and apple sandwich was good very light so don't be too hungry if you order it or maybe order a extra side of something I enjoyed the apple I feel like it really added to the sandwich. The scramble was all right, not necessarily my taste, but there was nothing exclusively wrong with it. The bread tasted really fresh though. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie as a sweet treat to go, however, I didn't finish it because it was dry and lack flavor. The reason it's getting four stars instead of three is definitely the ambience being able to enjoy my meal in the greenhouse is definitely the biggest flex they have. It's so beautiful and even though it was a cold day, I was good. I did see that they have blankets in case it's extra cold for your convenience which I appreciated. I would come back for the ambience of the greenhouse and giving the food one more try before I strictly go for greenery.

When you walk in you see a beautiful…read moreseating area, incredible amounts of fresh and local food items and then when you finally make it to the counter you're overwhelmed (in a good way) with the sheer amount of top notch looking breakfast and dessert pastries. I wanted to go on a food journey here and was looking for some guidance, I wanted only their best items and Sarah at the counter was awesome! She helped guide me through their bakery, their main course meals and even find some yummy Italian like pretzels for the hummus I wanted to get and overall was just a very nice lady, I wish more restaurants had people like her working with customers! Finally to the food, I ordered the oat & carrot waffles, a brioche pastry and bought some hummus and Italian pretzels from their mini market! Overall, really good stuff! My only gripe is the waffle isn't crunchy at all and feels really more like a cake. The flavor was on point, especially with the yummy Carmel sauce it came with! The brioche pastry with raspberries was incredible as well! Lastly, the hummus was outstanding!! Get it. It's worth it! Overall this place is a must visit in my mind! If you're in the area, try it!

The coffee is definitely some of my favorite in the city with rotating specials as well as your basics. Everyone who works there is so sweet. Very cute café ambience, however, it can be a little loud if you're looking to sit with your computer or a book. However, i wouldn't change a thing about Mediterra.

I was looking for an activity to do on Friday, observed Veteran's Day. School was closed, and the…read moreveteran in our home was off of work. I randomly thought of Brushes & Beans. We called around noon, and they made us a 2:30pm reservation. We arrived a bit early so my husband and I could order coffees, and we bought a baked good for my children (ages 4 and 6). I think some might be caught off guard by the macchiato at this cafe, but they are true to Italian size and style (says the prior northern Italy resident). My husband ordered a double and had them add the bourbon caramel flavoring to it (not true to Italian style - ha!). He said he really liked it, and I enjoyed teasing him with a little "pinkies up!" call out when taking his photo. I ordered a decaf Americano (boring, I know) and also enjoyed it. Our children split a chocolate chip scone. There were a variety of muffins to choose from, croissants, and gluten-free items as well. Soon, it was time for our painting reservation. I have to say, everyone we interacted with was patient, helpful, and kind. They each seem to enjoy their job. They came around the tables often to ask if we need anything, and would bring additional paint or offer help and advice when needed. There is a nice variety of ceramics to choose from for painting as well. All in all, we very much enjoyed our visit and would certainly go back again! I was thinking it could be a fun outing for a Girl Scout troop or any kind of club or organization. You could go and paint ornaments, which are affordable and easy to do. I may have to pass that idea past our Girl Scout troop's leader. :)

I love Brushes and Beans! Usually paint your own pottery places are BYO for food and drinks, but…read morethey are half coffee shop, half pottery pain. They have a huge selection of items to paint and prices and pieces range from around $8 to up to $80. You pick your piece and paint colors and then go to work. To get the true color you need three coats, so it can tale awhile. But it is a really fun experience and the staff is really helpful. They fire your piece and you come back to pick it up in a week or two. Great for something to do with the kids, a date, time with friends or even a fun solo activity.
