I would summarize this store as convenient but costly. Naturally, things are going to be overpriced inside of a resort, but they do have some nice things I suppose. I'd stay away from the cooked/prepared foods - their breakfast sandwiches and salads were awful. I also tried a quiche from their "bakery" but it was so dry after they toasted it, I nearly choked while eating it. Bottled beverages are overpriced, but the selection is decent. They have alcohol too if you need that to get by, but I don't know how much it is. Service can get pretty slow if they get flooded with drink orders. One nice thing is that they serve Starbucks coffee. Ambiance is about what you'd expect from a quick convenient type store. I've attached a receipt so you can see what the prices are like. Can't believe a small bottle of Gatorade was $4 and inedible salad was $13. ‍

The main grab and go store in the Gaylord Rockies hotel. They have all those essential items you may have forgotten to pack - toothbrush, deodorant, aspirin, etc. - as well as, fun amenities you may just want on site. They also have food and drinks you can grab to take back to your room if you wish. They have several packaged goodies for take home and souvenirs for other if you want! There are some fun Colorado magnets and mugs around, they also have tchotchke like items for you to remember your trip. The staff was always friendly and the store was well organized and clean. It was higher priced, but what hotel convenience store isn't? Overall: A A great spot for those forgotten small things, or just comfort needs for your room! Grab a magnet to take home for your fridge!

Located on the main floor of the Gaylord, down the hall to the right of the check in desk. Skip the long and slow moving check in line, and instead use their mobile app for online check in and hit the Rockies bar and lounge area until your room key appears on your phone. The Rockies bar is often understaffed and the line moves slow as well but somehow nicer waiting at the bar than the check in. Cocktails were strong and appears they have seasonal special craft concoctions. Can't remember the cute little mountain theme names but both I tried were yummy. Prices were average for Denver. Another tip: hit up the truffle fries food truck located further down and bring them back to the lounge to enjoy with your drinks!

    Turkey and Cheese Sandwich

I typically don't stop in these markets in any hotels or even airports because they are overpriced. Lo and behold this one is no different. A turkey and cheese sandwich was $9 and the pesto panini, which is only one sandwich, was $10. For a small bowl of cereal expect to pay $5 and for a 14 oz bottle of milk $4! Unfortunately it was the best option for me to grab a quick meal rather than ordering to my room. The sandwiches can be taken cold or toasted, however I will note the toasted is more luke warm than actually hot. They do have other grab and go snacks and desserts. They do sell Starbucks coffee but you cannot use any Starbucks gift cards which is a real bummer. It's good if you're in a pinch, but otherwise I would avoid this place for a meal if you can.

The Rockies Marketplace is a grab and go market in the Rockies Gaylord Resort. It is wonderfully stocked with packaged food, fruit,, snacks, alcohols and many other items. I noticed some local food items for sale like honey and hot sauce. This is a place where you can pick up some food gifts to take home. There is an area where you can order off of a menu board. Here they sell baked goods, specialty coffees and chef crafted items. You can take it to your room or eat at just outside of the market. They have a small area set up with a few tables and chairs. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The atmosphere is definitely upscale and makes for a great spot when you're looking for a special night out. Service was attentive throughout the meal, and the drinks were well done. I went with an espresso martini, which was excellent. We started with the pork belly appetizer, which was just okay, but the rest of the meal was much stronger. Things quickly turned around with the lobster bisque and Chilean sea bass. Both were excellent and were easily the highlights of the meal for me. The sides are served à la carte and meant for sharing, which worked well for our group. This is certainly not a cheap meal, but the quality, service, and atmosphere help justify the price. As a bonus, they also offer a kids menu, which was nice for families. Our kids were perfectly happy with the chicken tenders. Overall, a solid 4-star experience and a great option if you're looking for an upscale dinner at the Gaylord Rockies

I dined here recently for a bougie meal with a few work colleagues. It's an upscale restaurant, an homage to the steakhouses of yesteryear, yet modern and refined. For a Monday night the place was popping! Being with other colleagues, I was comfortable having a few others make the decisions. We landed on oysters as an appetizer and these were great. Being landlocked we always get the eye roll when they say the oysters are fresh...to their credit, they brought us a nice selection of East Coast and West Coast oysters that I found to be quite tasty! One of the best parts of dining at Old Hickory is their bread and butter. Like woah, it shouldn't be this good! Soft rolls and decadent butter, it's tough to beat a tried and true combination like this. Sides are a la carte like most steakhouses, maybe one day they'll change this! We ordered a few for the table. These were lacking in my humble opinion, the potatoes and brussels were just okay. They do provide a nice sized portion, and a single side can feed 2-3 people. Back to the good, a colleague and I shared the 24 oz. Bone In Ribeye. Now we're talking!!! This was cooked to a lovely medium rare, and loaded with flavor. Ribeyes are obviously one of the superior cuts of meat for a reason, this was buttery, rich, and damn delicious. I was stuffed, but we tried two desserts. I only had a bite of each, and these were presented beautifully and both great. I have to give a shoutout to our server, who took great care of us, made wine recommendations, and seemed genuinely happy to be taking care of us. Prices are very high, but the service exceeds expectations. If you're looking to ball out, Old Hickory delivers!

Our server was delightful as we reviewed the hard cover menus with the cool design that reminded me of "The Wind and the Willows". The pub interior certainly has the wooden aesthetic of a pub, without coming off as an authentic. But this is within the Gaylord Rockies so it does add variety to the options for restaurants and bars available. For my meal, I enjoyed the Whiskey Wings that were fried well and had a lovely sweet glaze with buttermilk ranch for dipping. The picked Fresno peppers were a nice touch as well. I washed it down with a couple of Bees Knees cocktails that brought me to a place of enormous well being. However, the food I've had at the bar, at the conference and now at this restaurant have been surprisingly good. I stand corrected on what I expected from the quality of the food. I'll start by saying the service is absolutely incredible. I came in here 35 minutes to closing and was never rushed for hurried along. My server, Haylie, was an absolute gem and was very engaging in conversation. The ambience is definitely Denver meets Lodge meets rustic meets current and is a little shtick but definitely warm and inviting. The pricing is a little bit higher than normal but this is a resort and as far as Resort pricing goes if it's completely normal. Haylie recommended the cottage pie and it did not disappoint. The mashed potatoes or soft and flavorful the slash beef underneath was tender and seasoned well. All in all is really good take on a traditional Shepherd's pie. I understand now why the place gets decent ratings. It seems like it's a really solid meal at decent pricing with impeccable service. Haylie thank you so much for guiding me in the right direction. Would easily come back here

There's was only one person both days (at least at the beginning of the crowd) managing a lot of tables, so there was a bit of a delay getting seated because they were constantly running back and forth. We went both days right as the crowd was starting, and once seated, everything ran super smoothly. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I wish I could remember our first server's name. He was from CA and was fantastic. Really attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and everything was genuinely delicious. It's rare for us to go back to the same place twice on a trip, but this one earned it. Great sports bar atmosphere, plenty of seating, including outdoor seating, and it would work well for pretty much any sized group. I Highly recommend this spot if you're staying at the Gaylord Rockies or nearby.

Cravings absolutely satisfied…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I cannot go anywhere without having some sort of Asian food. That evening, I was craving pho. Pho 92 came recommended and I was immediately drawn to the clear broth in the photos while researching Yelp for Vietnamese food. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. Their menu is huge, so there are plenty of dishes to choose from to satisfy your cravings, whatever those might be for any given day. We will definitely be back the next time we visit CO!
