Smokehouse Dip Sando with sweet potato fries
Wendy B.

Good service. We were a little worried with the reviews we'd seen but the service was good, we got our food quickly, and it was very good. Not sure if they make their own bbq sauce or not but it was tangy and was good on the brisket. The brisket was tender and well seasoned. The brisket baked beans (not pictured) were very tasty. I didn't try the coleslaw but it has a mustard base and others in our party thought it was good. There's nothing fancy about the interior of the restaurant. It's not an overly big place but they have a variety of table sizes and types for all kinds of groups. We would definitely return.

I was here 3years ago and the brisket or just food in general is not what I remember. The brisket was my favorite at this place and this is why I decided to come back. I am not sure if it change owners or what because they even change the menu. The atmosphere was dead. We stood at the entrance for a minute, ppl were just staring at us until we approached them . The food was okay, but not as good as it use to be. I got the smokehouse dip sando it has a sweet taste.

Delmonico Ribeye

Decided to treat ourselves and order the steak and they did not disappoint! Both were cooked to a perfect medium rare with the fat completely rendered. You can tell this is good quality beef, that they don't over season. Service was excellent, we were well taken care of, I ordered the beer flight (a great deal at $8) and they picked locals that were exactly what I liked.

This place was absolutely fantastic! Our service was excellent and our waitress answered all of our questions. I'm not a huge bbq person I opted for the pulled pork flatbread and it was delicious. We will definitely stop by on our next visit!

Smokehouse Bacon Poppers

A little bit of a wait, but the staff was so sweet, I'd say we got sat within 45 minutes. We ordered the smokehouse bacon poppers and OMG these are a must try they are so delicious and had a nice kick to them, but nothing too unbearable. They're Arnold palmers are surprisingly delicious and the best I've tried, super refreshing after a day out in the sun! I also ordered the firehouse crispy chicken sandwich, Korean style, and it was good but more on the sweeter side and not spicy whatsoever. I feel like you could mostly taste the honey, but the chicken was cooked to perfection! The inside interior was neat and had famous people on the walls, our waitress was amazing and I would highly recommend checking this place out!

Cheesesteak

Ok, so there was a wait, but the smell coming from the shack said stop by... so glad we did. First they got some local brews from around town and regular bottles and a full bar... beer it was and they were both pretty decent. I liked the kolsch more than the wit, but they both were really good. We nibbled on the fried pickles and they were just normal fried pickles. But what won me over was their cheesesteak. It was a suggestion bc I couldn't decide and it was a GREAT suggestion! The brisket for meat, onions and peppers and that cheese.. too die for! The beat part for sure.. it had a lot more oil hanging around which worries my but the meal was great. The garlic tots were interesting and trust me I ate them but I think I'd have to try another side to see if it were better. Def glad we stopped by here for dinner and I would easily do it again!

I dined at this establishment on 12-21-24 with a friend. We ordered $50.57 worth of food to include the tax. I tipped Alejandra $7.43, making the total bill $58. Why when it posted did my bank ask me if I tipped her 31%? The restaurant billed me $66. When I called to ask why she added $8 to my bill, she said, "I'm not a thief." No one called her that. I guess she knew what she did. I will never dine there ever again. I'm glad my bank can see through the bull.

Wow... wow... wow.

Prices are ridiculously expensive and good was just so-so. Service was lacking as well. Won't go back.

The service was outstanding, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One thing I especially appreciated was the atmosphere. We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation but arrived around 6:00 pm to figure out downtown parking. We expected to wait, but what bothered us was watching two couples with the same reservation time arrive after us and get seated first. We weren't seated until 6:33 pm. The host wasn't welcoming or accommodating. Our server didn't seem to care about us and was not attentive, and she came across as more snobby than friendly. The food, however, was exceptional. The Caesar salad was outstanding, featuring a high-quality eggless dressing with a mustard-forward flavor. The smoked short rib was generously portioned and a great value, especially since many upscale restaurants charge extra for sides. The mac and cheese, had great flavor but was very rich and thick, making it quite heavy. The smoked duck was another standout--perfectly cooked. I think a berry-based sauce would've elevated it even more than the tangy barbecue sauce, but it was still delicious. The restaurant itself has character. In the back, there's a cave-like structure where we were seated, which made the experience feel unique and memorable. I just wish the hospitality had matched the caliber of the kitchen, because no matter how good the meal is, we didn't feel genuinely welcomed.

However, the first table they sat us at had the very large plush arm chairs. Which you sit and sink all the way to the floor. The table was at our chins. We asked to move and were reseated. But if they were busy, would not have been an option. We had great and attentive service from Tim. The scallops were divine. The pork was OK, but the apple relish made up for it a bit. Brussels sprouts cooked perfectly as vegetable of the day. We were too stuffed to try dessert.

Entrees came out around 10. My wife had the filet and I had the ribeye. They looked great but were terribly undercooked, so we had to send it back. Didn't really want to because we were eating so late, but it was that bad. Then the recook took so long we just had them box it up. However, the Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The staff were super nice. Maybe because they were taking shots back behind the bar where they thought we couldn't see them? lol Anyway, wouldn't recommend this place. I can see why it was so easy to get a reservation close to Valentine's Day.

The chicken fried steak is the best. Not greasy. Huge! The gravy is on point. We tried the cream cheese corn and I'd have to say that I thought the green beans are better. The onion rings are incredible! The mashed potatoes are very good. The service is good. The only issue we had was that we had ordered a side order of onion rings. When a huge basket came out, I asked if this was the side order and the waitress quickly commented that she had put it in as a side order but that they sent a whole order. She said she would adjust it but when she brought the check she said that she took off 10%. Quickly doing the math, the basket we were charged for was $11 while the side order is $5. 10% didn't come close and we barely made a dent in the basket of delicious rings. The live music was nice but they might need to tell the entertainer that it isn't meant to be a show, just background. He doesn't need to be the center of everyone's meal. Local Flavor is a must try!
