    The bar.

The bar is awesome! I love playing pool, and they have complimentary pool when you buy drinks. The bartenders are nice and attentive. The bar manager Cuong interacts with the customers, and he even asked me how I'm doing. He is always walking around talking and laughing with customers. It feels like a great neighborhood bar! Drinks are poured well, and have a good beer selection. Keep up the good job!

Great local Mission bar with the most amazing *secret* kitchen in back! Played pool while noshing on some of the best COLD, Peruvian ceviche I've ever eaten, followed by a beef empanada (shocked by how delicious this was!). I tried their fried chicken, and while it was beautifully prepared- the Peruvian stood out.

Bah hum bug!!! Sorry I don't like Christmas. Personal reasons. Butttt.... Rocks Den was really low key and mellow this evening just what I needed. Minus the OG arguing with his wife on his blue tooth. Hilarious though. Merry Christmas & Happy new year

    Manager is really cool.

1st time here and it's bigger and better. Been to their old location and this is definitely an upgrade. Bartenders are cool and they hook u up on the drinks. Manager Cuong is really sweet n fun. He drinks with you too. Love their new private party room. $500 all day from when they open till close and you can bring in your own food. Fun place! Definitely recommend the place!

Unless maybe if you're not a local regular customer. As a non-local, I came upon it as I was walking on Taraval all the way from Ocean Beach. The first time I visited, I was looking to wet my whistle without resorting to booze. The bartender happily complied by pouring me a Diet Coke. I felt badly I didn't order a proper stiff drink, so I tried to make up for it in the tip. Months later, I found myself returning on a rather nippy afternoon. As luck would have, just as I took a seat at the bar (and not the one shaped like a concave set of cheeks), I saw a hand drawn chalkboard advertising "Tito's Borghetti Espresso Martinis $12". Yep, that was it for me (Photo 7). The Tito's brand really made the difference, especially the Caffè Borghetti Espresso Liqueur. Very smooth with just the right amount of kick. Meanwhile, the true regulars were socializing with each other like an episode of "Cheers". I just need to take a long ride on the L-Taraval MUNI line to get here. Gee, maybe I could become a non-local regular. The servers are welcoming and wonderful and on weekdays there are usually a few high tops and outdoor tables available for a quick, comfy bite and drinks. At Foghorn, you have the option to go all flats or all drummettes but what makes this a 5 star business? * Open all day for those who eat at odd hours like at 3 pm. * Shout out to Mary Grace for the wonderful hospitality. She was friendly, warm, and attentive, anticipating our needs by providing takeout containers, bags, and even a small bag for our leftover sauces. She also offered my doggies water. * Over a dozen wing flavors: Buffalo, Nashville Hot, BBQ, Dry Spice, Ghost Glaze, Jamaican Jerk, Pineapple Basil, Honey Crunch, General Tso's, and more. Wings come in set of five for $9.50, +$1 if you want all flats or all drummettes. - We ordered Pineapple Basil, Nashville Hot, Jamaican Jerk, and General Tso's ($9.50 x4) - wings were hot, crunchy, and juicy with the pineapple basil (sweet, herbaceous) and nashville hot (a creeper) being the favs. - Don't sleep on the sides! The fries ($6) were golden and crunchy with a light, fluffy interior, and the coleslaw ($5) was fresh and crisp, tossed in a bright, tangy vinaigrette. * Wings Wednesdays (5 pm - 6 pm): 50 cent wings w/ purchase of a drink. Wings come as a set of five with 10 wings max per drink order. * Not a beer drinker? They have low abv cocktails made from low proof vodka, tequila, etc. Not the usual sweet wine, sherry, or vermouth. * TVs to watch the game with hip hop bumping in the background. * Dog-friendly!
