This place is an absolute joke to order parts off of. First things first paid for express shipping to get my part two days then they sent me the wrong part. They resend the part and then send me the exact same one they sent me the first time which is incorrect. Then I try to get my money back, fought for 2 days just for that. And then on top of that all they can do is give me half of my money back and they're not going to refund me for my shipping. they miss represent what they sell on there Web site. when I bought there tusk grab bar that shows a licence plate frame attached to it. I needed a grab bar with the frame. Washington state now requires metal license plate. the one they sent me did not have one. it shows on there site that it does. when I called the customer service agent said that it's just a generic photo and I was responsible for all return shipping. read more

ROCKY MOUNTAIN STOLE MY MONEY. I have ordered thousands of $ worth of bike parts from them, but this was the first time I had to make a return. I bought a nuetech mousse and it had slash marks so I went through the return process. They authorized my return, then as soon as it was in transit back to them they call saying they don't see the damage (cut was 1/4 inch deep and as wide as a penny, so very easy to see) after being told I will have to wait for them to review I end up waiting three weeks and I had to call them again, only for them to say they will review it the next day. Ive ordered a bunch with RM over the years( over $1500 in the last 12 months) . On a recent purchase didnt realize id clicked the saved shipping address for my old office. Tried emailing, calling and online chatting to get the package re-routed as we have no access to that building anymore and no relation with the company currently occupying it. Was told that for a fee, they can TRY to re route the package but no guarantees? So Im either losing the order or paying some extra and still possibly losing the order? My company ships packages all over the world every day and we re route stuff all the time, never charged a customer, no problems. The theory being that the positive experience will lead to more business down the road. Apparently RM ATV feels that getting their $17 fee is more important than preserving customer relationships. I received a $200 part that was defective. At first customer support seemed helpful but claimed they had to get a return warranty OK from the part manufacturer. Spoke to a supervisor who stated 3-5 business days was typical to complete the return & exchange. Well, three weeks passed and I never heard back from them! Took the part to a motorcycle mechanic who was able to correct the problem. Purchase from this seller at your own risk. read more

No one can give me an update on when it will ship and they're not willing to ship it next day once it is available. Outstanding service. Everything arrived as promised. Ordered two tire and wheel packages plus a spare on Monday and they arrived mounted on Thursday. Since this was my first purchase and the amount was over $2,000 I had to call and confirm my information but I prefer that they honor their customers enough to confirm large purchases before sending. Incredible quantity of supplies but they have some weird contracts with manufacturers that won't allow them to ship simple parts like gaskets, nuts, and bolts to freight forwarders. The item doesn't even need to be flammable or toxic. Really an odd situation. Other smaller businesses don't have this problem. When I called them to discuss the reasoning behind this their "web orders specialist" would not take my call. They may have outgrown themselves. read more

Just heard from Kelton in the Warranty department. He apologized for this and refunded the full amount back to my credit card. I am very happy about that, but don't know if I will continue to do business with them or not. If you ever call and try to get a manager on the phone, you are just wasting your time. I tried a dozen times to get one to talk to me and each time the watchdogs in customer service found a way to make sure that it did not happen. Thanks to Kelton, but the rest of you clowns at Rocky Mountain need to either get trained or get a new job, because you failed time after time! Recommend a different company that has better customer service. Have yet to receive any invoices on my past orders. They have the correct email on file I know this because the only email I have received from them ​was a confirmation email sent to me when I changed it to the new email. My most recent order was a big order requiring multiple boxes and shipments from different warehouses. When placing the order they said it would be delivered Friday which was the day I needed them by. Of course they over promised on the delivery date so only half of the parts would be delivered by Friday if that. When calling to see what parts would be delivered on Friday they did not know what parts were in what packages. Kind of a big deal when I need to find these parts by Friday. The only response I got from customer service was you were the one who picked standard shipping. Had rocky mountain not over promised on the delivery I would have gladly paid for faster shipping. For example I received multiple tires on Thursday but the tubes I needed for them were not delivered until Saturday. read more

Another customer accidentally walked off with my newly mounted wheel prior to me arriving to pick it up. Frustrating, however Payton, the manager went out of his way to make right what had happened. Awful customer service and terrible online experience. I must have the first family in the US that do not all reside in the same home address. Tried ordering a family member parts he wanted for Christmas. Since we do not live in the same home they would only ship to the billing address (my address). Called them and they wanted me to jump through additional hoops so the parts would get shipped to the shipping address. Taking my money somewhere else. read more

Tire mounted wrong on a tire and wheel package deal, no immediate help at all. I have been buying from Rocky Mountain ATV for many years now and have generally been satisfied with them. I just bought a tire and wheel package from them for my Can Am X 3 X max RS Turbo RR At first I had some misinformation from Fed Ex about the arrival date, which was not Rocky Mountains fault, but when I got them, I was extremely shocked and dismayed to see that one of the tires a specifically directional tire was mounted backwards. Which is really lame because the tire has a clearly marked arrow pointing the way the rotation should go, duh. I called them and the customer service people were very nice, but had no authority to fix the problem. I was told I would have to wait a few days to even hear from someone. They make a stupid mistake on my order and i have to wait days to even here what they will do to fix the problem, seriously? I have a bad feeling that they will not properly fix the problem to my satisfaction and I seriously doubt they will make up for the hassle to me. I hope I am wrong but I doubt it. So I have used Rocky mountain for parts for the last 6 years. They have been fast and the orders have been accurate. This review is NOT about that side of their business. It's about there return department. On 2 separate occasions i have returned part and they have sided with the vendor and not me, the loyal consumer. Once was a P3 skid plate and the most recent was a graphics kit that doesn't fit that is on the more expensive side. I was sent a photo of graphics for plastics that were clearly not the ones from my bike and the just show them fitting on these other perfectly. Very disappointing. read more

Was told the charges would be $15 to put on new tires. When I come to pick up they tell me the charges are $55 because they assumed my tubes were flat when they weren't. If you're going to charge more you should let your customers know first. read more

Please read reviews of this company and take them to heart! Such a horrific waste of time. Placed an order on 5/6 at around midnight, then they started CALLING AND CALLING the next day needing to speak with me to verify that we live where we live, and we were who we are, and we really wanted the order after all. Well I missed their calls. They left detailed messages, and then I tried to call back. After sitting on hold for 30 minutes (most of my lunch break), I texted the number they provided and a rep finally responded, supposedly got the info she needed and cleared the order. Then they started CALLING AND CALLING AGAIN that afternoon. I missed the calls because I am WORKING and CAN'T ANSWER AT WORK. They left multiple messages. One message said they were sending an email and if I responded to the email they would promptly call me back. They did not respond at all, even after I responded twice. So I texted again to the same number and a different rep said they "skipped a step in the process" and needed to charge my card a small amount, then have me call back to give them the amount after calling my bank (as if I hadn't been inconvenienced enough already) or "login to my account" to get the amount (we DON'T have ONLINE ACCOUNTS, WE GET PAPER STATEMENTS ONLY). So I told him we have lived at the same address since 1981, had credit scores in the 800s, the shipping address matched the billing address, and we were NOT going to jump through their hoops for this order. We have NEVER in our lives been asked to do this and we make online orders REGULARLY. Please don't waste your time with these people, we will be going back to the plentiful other online motorcycle shops who we order from regularly who make our lives so much easier and are now greater appreciated! Evidently Rocky Mountain's shipping department is very fine tuned! I ordered 2 set of tire on Monday - 4 nice black doughnuts are sitting in the shop tonight. Now the reason I said evidently was because I was unsure of their skill level as this was my first order. Rocky mountain shipping couldn't be worse. typically when you select 3 day shipping it will get here in 3 days. if you order with rocky mountain expect 2 weeks because that is more typical. Ontrac shipping is absolutely awful. Several times we have had it say "Out for delivery" or "Delivered" however when we call they always say it hasn't left the facility. Then they call me to verify that it is my card by calling and emailing asking me to verify it by them making a small charge again on my card. They refused to verify it any other manner. I waited on hold for 20 minutes just to hear them say they couldn't help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor, since it was speaking with a teenager with no authority to fit the problem. They refused to transfer me. If I would have had any knowledge of how unprofessional this business was I would not have dealt with them. My recommendation is to find another supplier to order from. I purchased a protection jacket from Rocky Mountain ATV and selected next day shipping and was charged an additional $10 for this service. I was told today that because I placed my order after a certain cutoff time, my order would ship in 2 days instead of one and I would not be refunded by $10. Brody in the call center was very clear that they would not refund me $10 for what I feel is a misleading business practice. If the product will not ship next day the online system should not allow a client to be charged for next day shipping. Up to this point my experience with RMATV has been great. Ordering from this company was one of the worst experiences of my life. I placed an order on a Friday and on Tuesday received an e-mail saying there was problems with my order. Mind you, at this point they had already taken the money out of my bank account for the order. I called them back and they said they couldn't ship my order until I verified my billing address for my credit card. After verifying what my billing address is for the card, they said it doesn't match and that I would need to talk to my bank. The employee told me that Rocky Mountain ATV/MC does things weird in processing orders and payments that caused me to be suspicious of this company. Being very frustrated, at this point, I asked to speak to a supervisor since they had already taken my money and the money had been cleared by my bank. While waiting to talk to a supervisor, I talked to my bank who confirmed the billing address for my card was the same address I had given them. Instead of a supervisor coming on the line to talk with me, it was the same incompetent employee who said her supervisor looked at the address and they couldn't verify the billing address either. I was told my zip code verified but not the billing address so unfortunately they couldn't ship my order. The company offered to do a conference call with my bank, (are you serious over a $87 order). I again asked to talk to a supervisor. After waiting another 5 minutes another person came on the line, who didn't identify as a supervisor, and said they couldn't do anything for me other than having a conference call with my bank or running another $87 through PayPal (which I don't use). I asked for my money to be refunded immediately and I was told it would be refunded within 1-10 business days. I ordered the same parts from another company for $2 less with the exact same card with no issues. I use the card I used with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC in hundreds of online purchases a year and have never had a problem. Do not purchase anything from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC their employees are incompetent and business processes highly suspicious. Update: My order number was 17364779, just in case Rocky Mountain ATV/MC tries to discount my review by saying, "we can't find your account" like they have with many others who have left negative reviews. read more

My bar risers wouldn't fit without cable/line extensions, so I returned them, and 20 days later, they still haven't "processed the return". Pathetic. It's disappointing I even have to write this review. I expected better. I ordered a bunch of products from the online store. I verified my address when I typed it in. I verified my address when I typed it in again when the site suggested I create an account. I checked the box "use this as my default billing address" and I checked the box "use this as my default shipping address" referencing the address I just typed in. I pay with PayPal. I get the confirmation and its shipping to an older address of mine. My primary reason for this review is the phone call that followed the next day. They did nothing but blame me, accept no responsibility, didn't find this "glitch" to be a problem at all, and wanted to charge me to fix a mistake that I didn't make. They attributed it to PayPal however when I was on hold I checked my PayPal and my address was not only up to date, the address they shipped to wasn't even listed on my PayPal. Furthermore, I have ordered from other sites recently with PayPal that delivered to my current address no problem. Their response, "well you should have just called in to order instead of online and this wouldn't have happened." Yes, the woman actually said that. The funny thing was that I had second thoughts of ordering from their website because it was pretty glitchy and difficult to navigate overall.
