This is wonderful place to buy from as long as all you need is an exchange of an item. I spend several thousands of dollars here every year buying parts and gear for the quads and dirt bikes we race XC. If I have ever had to exchange an item the service has been great!!! Wish I could say the same for returns!!! I have had to return about 6 items over the last 15+ years and each time the process is getting to be more of a pain. They claim fast returns but that is a lie. I returned a helmet that arrived with parts missing and damaged due to it. Visor screw was missing and during shipping the visor rubbed and chipped the pain and had rubbed through the cloth bag and had marred the box lid!! They received the helmet on Monday morning on Tuesday morning I contacted them about the fact the website says they are waiting for the helmet. On Wednesday I get a message back saying the helmet has not been checked in but once it has it takes 72hrs to process the return. I checked on Thursday and it showed on my RM account that it had been returned, on Friday I checked PayPal no refund, I checked Pay Pal again this morning no refund. So I called today and was told it would be a few more days before it was processed as being checked in and it would be a few more days once it was checked in before my refund was issued and it could take up to 10 business days before my refund posted to my account!!! Today is Saturday and Monday it will be over a week since they got it and still have not processed my refund do you call this fast no hassle returns? So much for fast returns!!! Every time I have ever done a return it has been this type of hassle, once I purchased a pair of shin guards that were way too big and were damaged. Had to spend several days of sending pictures of damage just to get then to return the items. Guards were put one inside the other and were crushed so bad you couldn't wear them. The sides touched and there was a crease down the middle that was permanent. Yet Rocky Mountain didn't want to pay for the return when they arrived damaged (they were damaged when they shipped them nothing in the box was heavy enough to have crushed them!!). Follow up: After I wrote this I contacted them again by email (Saturday Morning) On Tuesday I received an email my helmet was in the warranty department and should be finished that day and my refund should be issued. I checked this morning (Wednesday) and no refund was pending on my PAY PAL account. Today is 10 business days since they got the helmet and still no refund and this is what their website calls "Return items in brand new, unused condition, in original packaging, and get 100% money back on items returned. No hassle, no confusion, fast turnaround"! What I would like to know is what warranty department. Two years ago I bought an LS2 Red/White and Blue helmet and it was the last one. I got it and the box the helmet was in was ripped and crushed (shipping box was fine), the helmet was in the box upside down with the cloth bag half on the helmet and it was damaged. Was it returned like that or did the warranty department throw it back in the box like that? If it was checked before they shipped it who ever pulled the helmet and stuck it in the bag should be fired!!! No matter, I will never buy another helmet from RM!!! read more

I took them back to return them (and purchased new set) only to have the guy there tell me he can't return them because I didn't have a tag on the pants. I used to order everything from these guys as they were usually the cheapest and got things to my house withing 3 days consistently. Recently, it seems they have changed shipping companies, now everything is 10+ days. My shipment that was supposed to be 10-12 days has apparently now just became 23 days estimated shipping. I could've got it from any other supplier faster than that, but figured they would pull through like they usually do. I am not surprised by the number of bad reviews for this company. They have some great products and good prices but if you have a problem with a product the customer service seems to shut down. Be prepared to eat the bad deals with this company. No help at all. It looks like you can buy their stuff through Ebay and that may be the way to go. If you have Ebay and Paypal buyer protection then at least you can get your money back. These guys don't play fair when it comes to warranty and product problems. read more

Then will argue with you about it for an hour just to finally figure out they are wrong, while on hold with the "experts" it took me 2 min on the other line to confirm they were incorrect. I recently placed an on-line order that I had an issue with the billing address being different from the shipping address. I did an on-line chat to get some help and they were fast and knowledgeable. I then had to call in the order since I was a new account with a different billing and shipping address. The gentleman was very helpful and professional. I had a discount card from a race I had done and I said I had more but I needed to find them all. He told me they have all the records of my other cards so I did not need to spend time looking. So I have some credits to use and I can use more than one card at a time. What a class operation that also sponsors the WORCS races and others as well. They have earned my future business for sure. I ordered my sons Christmas presents from here and was guaranteed for it to be here before Christmas. I did not receive the order confirmation like I normally do so I called to check on the order a couple hours later they said that they could not ship the item when it was supposed to be because one of the items in my order was out of place, but they found it and would ship it the next day. One of the supervisors called me back that evening, and told me that the order was in Fed Ex possession. I tracked the package, and it says that a label was created, but never went into Fed Ex possession. We were told about this place several years ago and have been huge fans ever since. Our family loves to go camping and ride dirt bikes all summer. We have growing kids and aging bikes. These guys keep us in new riding gear and bike parts and accessories all year long. When you arrive to their showroom, there is not much there, but you get the point. They have a HUGE warehouse behind the counters that has everything you could want. They will send you a free catalog in the mail. The catalogs atr in the showroom as well. You can walk up to the counter and show them what you want. The people they have working the counter are very freindly and knowledgable. A few minutes later it rolls on a conveyor behind the counter. They have dressing rooms to try on your new gear if you want. RMATV has their own brand of gear as well. Its really good quality stuff. We have been using it for years. They always have closeouts and specials that really help us out since we usually take a trip down there in the spring to get everyone geared up for the season. We order stuff from them all the time and usually take at least 1 trip a year to the showroom. I have never been dissapointed and returns have never been an issue. This is by far one of the best places to go for atv, utv and motorcyle enthusiasts to get their gear! read more

I'd like to start by saying I've been using Rocky mountain ATV MC for over 15 years now, during that time I've had exceptional service reliable deliveries and have also enjoyed great prices. For the past two or so years I have had shipping issues primarily due to the fact that the carrier changes from one shipment to another. Some of this you could say is because of covid but ultimately it is the switching of shipment carriers. Because of this it has drastically changed my view of this company. Now when I go to place an order I don't know if I should select today guaranteed because if I were to get the correct or more expedited carrier through the free method it may be at my doorstep in one or two days. So after a couple of years of complaining two Rocky mountain I have decided to start thinking about shopping elsewhere just because other companies seem to have more reliable shipping. read more

Online order was a nightmare! Do not pay for NEXT DAY shipping! They didn't ship it till the following day which completely defeats the purpose. Now fedex says I won't receive it for another 3 days. Plus the elected for a physical signature to release the delivery. I'll be working and will not even be there to sign. I tried to esign it with fedex but they claim due to what the shipper elected that wasn't an option. I chose next day after researching the delivery cost and dates between next day and 2 day. I purchased a set of SKF fork seals from RMATV in preparation for a trip down south. After about 50 miles of riding I notice a fair amount of oil residue on the fork tubes and after about 300 miles the leaking was bad enough to warrant another replacement. I reached out to RMATV and talked through my issue with them. The reason for the poor review is I would like to shed light at poor communication and poor customer service. New items fail, poor quality slips through the cracks of even the best manufacturers, however how the customer is handled makes all the difference. It is my opinion that had they warrantied the item upon first contact the experience would have been much better. In total this took approx. 4 weeks to resolve and more than 4 weeks with my bike tore apart. I don't recommend using Rocky Mountain ATV simply because if something is defective in your order, the return process is a living nightmare. Below is a detailed outline of my experience. 12/28 I reached out via phone and was told RMATV's warranty dept. needed to review. I wrote email and sent to RMATV warranty dept. 12/29 received email stating RMATV warranty dept. reached out to SKF 1/4 I asked for a status update via email. RMATV indicated they were waiting on SKF. 1/8 (morning) I reached out via email for a status update from warranty w/no response. 1/8 (afternoon) I reached out via phone and was told by customer service that the warranty dept. cannot move forward without pictures of the seals. (Note: this is customer service NOT warranty telling me this). I took pictures and submitted them to the warranty dept. via email. 1/11 I reached out via phone and was told no new updates. 1/12 I reached out via phone and I asked to speak with the customer service manager. Was told nothing could be done from the manager. I asked to speak to the managers higher up. Was told that person is too busy to speak with me, and that they'd give me a refund as a "one-time-pass". 1/12 I ordered a new set of OEM KTM seals from Motosport.com. They arrived 1/14 and were installed that night. I have since put over 50 miles on these new seals without any sign of leaking.... FYI KTM uses SKF as an OE supplier for their fork seals. Additionally this is for a Supermoto, a dirt bike which sees only street use. 1/21 while looking over my card statement I noticed I received a refund for half the order. (only 1 seal set... Terrible experiences with this company. Do NOT order pilot jets from here you don't know what your gonna get. I ordered 3 jets all the same type just different pilot sizes 2 of them came correct and one was an incorrect jet in the correct packaging. Contacted customer service and talked with Talon (worst customer service experience) explained my issue and was just told that I ordered the wrong item and it was my fault, it was like pulling teeth to get him to understand that pilot jets don't just change thread sizes like that and the only change is the size of the pilot hole. I spent $700 on my order that time and they are giving me a hard time over a $7 jet. They haven't sent out the correct item or even tried to make it right I'm just getting the run around and waiting for a call from their tech guy that will probably never happen. I have made many purchases from RM ATV over the last 3 years with no issues but my latest purchase will be my last. I placed 2 orders from them on 11/2/2021. The first package showed up as expected on 11/4. The second still has not arrived. They use Ontrac as their shipper. Each day the online tracking says delayed and it will be delivered the next day. I called Ontrac twice. The last conversation on 11/5 they admitted the package is lost. So I called RM to inform them of the situation. The customer service offered no resolution except that when they receive the lost notice from Ontrac they could reorder my parts. They don't have the parts in stock so there will be further delays. Today is 11/10 and not a peep from RM and still no delivery. $1600.00 in parts with no resolution. I just ordered the parts from a reputable company and now going through the dispute process with my credit card company to get my money back. read more

I have gotten many parts from Rocky Mountain Atv/mc. I got the Twin Air Filter. It was Taller and the inlet was the wrong size. I have spent weeks trying to fix this. I have sent 4 emails, pictures 3 times. I had to take the stock air filter back out and set it next to the one they sent to take a picture and send it to them. A week later i called and they didnt know anything yet. I asked to just return it for credit towards something else. Nope, I have more time in this then the air filter is worth. Terrible customer service. I've spent thousands over the years with this company. Ponca National 2019 had to overnight a clutch (which never arrived) and when I called to get a refund since my product never made it. They said no and kept my 400$. Fast forward to April 2020. I spend 800$ on some new knee braces for my son and parts to rebuild his practice bike and pay for two day shipping to get it by Friday so he had everything for Saturday. Receive a phone call at 3:45pm saying there's is a secondary purchase certification needed to complete my order. And mind you, if the shipping doesn't go out by 1pm for two day air it doesn't ship until the next day. So they already screwed me. Then they ping my account with an 0.11c charge. That I need to read back to them. Well that didn't post on to my account until Saturday morning. So now I call and verify this bull crap and explain to them that this is their wrong doing for me not getting my order, and ask if they can overnight my items since now they are going to be five days late. The supervisor responds with no we cannot do that. We called you weds and Thursday and got no answer. WHAT, are you fn kidding me?
