I have been a long time customer of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC and I have spent thousands of dollars on orders over the years. Recently I have made several orders of apparel because of their website claim of guaranteed fit and easy return. I have to say after ordering pants that didn't fit properly I am being charged to return them. The amount is not high but it seems rather petty on their part to not pay for the shipping label. In this case exchanging the clothing for a different size is not going to make a difference on fit because one portion of the pant is too small and the other too large. Either way an exchange is going to make one problem worse while making the other better because it is an issue with the way the pants are tailored. I am extremely disappointed in their customer service and will not purchase clothing from them because of the misleading EZ return and guaranteed fit policy. My recommendation is to only order clothing you know from past experience will fit your body type correctly before you order. Otherwise, you are better off buying from your local retailer where you can try it on first or purchase from a different on-line retailer that is willing to refund all of your money when the fit or exchange is not going to work. I am a long time customer and completely disappointed to not receive better service for my loyalty and amount of purchases over the years. read more

After receiving a used open box helmet that was supposed to be new the check pads would not stay clipped in at the bottom. I then purchased the same helmet so that I would have one while the original was being returned. Once I received the second order it as well was a open box used helmet this time with the wrong size cheek pads. Now after returning 2 weeks ago I still have not received a refund & am stuck with a $450 helmet with cheek pads form the original order that do not stay clipped in correctly. I really wish I would have read these reviews before spending my hard earned money with this place! They use ON-TRAC for shipping and they always lose or say it was delivered to your front door and it's never there! I ordered a pair of Alpinestars boots and ON TRAC said they delivered them and nothing was at my front door! So I call to see what happened they tell me I have to wait 2 days for a response from the driver! 2 days go by I'm out 300 bucks and no boots! I call rocky mtn again and they now say could be 5 days! So I have a race this weekend I needed new boots cause my others got destroyed so I ask what they can do for me. They say I can purchase a new pair and they will waive overnight shipping. I didn't have a choice no one in town had my size so again I pay 300 dollars and wait till next day. I specifically told the lady on the phone my address and she confirmed. Next day it got delivered to an old address I lived in 2 years ago ! So now I'm out 600 dollars I have no boots to race in this weekend! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I ordered a Tusk camp chair from this company based off a review from a youtuber I like (they sponsor him I believe) I received a message that they needed more info to process my order. I texted them back to cancel the order because I had gotten a fraudulent charge on my card the day after I placed the order (No reason to believe this was RMATV/MC) I asked them to cancel the order assuming this was the reason for them contacting me. They asked me if I wanted to pay via paypal, I declined. I reordered the chair and the following day I got the same text requesting more info. When I reached out, without even explaining what the info they needed was, they said they needed to charge my card a "random amount" so I can verify that the card is mine (they asked this the first time before they tried to push paypal on me). I asked them to cancel the order because it is suspicious and dealing with them anymore is too much of a hassle. They asked again if I would just pay via paypal, and I declined again. I'd rather spend $100 more on a Helinox chair than having a 2 star rated company "randomly" charge my card. I am unsure at this point if they refunded the money to my card. They definitely charged me both times so I and unsure of why they would charge my card, then try to verify it with a random charge, then try to get me to pay via paypal after my card has already been charged. If I had to guess they are either incompetent or they are trying to avoid paying processing fees for credit cards and maybe paypal doesn't charge such fees or they are lesser than the processing companies. No clue, but I am very nervous that this company has my card info and personal information. read more

I've been a long time customer of RMATV to purchase dirt bike parts and accessories. Spent thousands of dollars over the years. My main reason for shopping with them has been selection, price and most of all, fast shipping as I am in northern Utah. If I placed an order on a business day before 5 pm, it would always go out and be to me the next day. Well all of that has changed over the past year. No I know the COVID pandemic has influenced many business practices, but quite frankly most big companies have found ways to adjust and overcome and are flourishing as a result. Not RMATV however. Examples: Placed 2 orders within a couple weeks apart, both were made earlier in the week, in hopes to have them to me before the weekend. Well their current shipping time is up to 10 days. All the product was in stock, but according to their customer service, they are just too backed up to ship any faster. Both orders ended up finally shipping late Friday, which means a Monday delivery. So much for hoping to ride on the weekend with your new purchases. I have ordered from other companies out of state and they are shipping super fast and on time. RMATV has got to address this issue and soon. As it stands, I am not going to shop with them until they address the apparent COVID related delays which in my opinion are an excuse. Hire some people or pay to retain those who want to work. To the end they stood by the claim by their "tech" department that the wheels were the correct size even with numerous photos sent. This is either incompetence or deliberate deception. OMG! I used to really like this company. :( I ordered motorcycle tires from them earlier this month. When they arrived the new tires were actually 10 YEARS OLD (manufacture date of 2006). The rubber is hardening and they are dangerous. If I had mounted them on the motorcycle I might not be alive today to write this review. I have contacted them twice already to arrange to return them and receive a refund and they keep responding that they are looking into "warranty issues"- even though the tires were never mounted and are exactly as they were when they were delivered this week. UPDATE: RMATV has agreed to issue a refund and they have responded that they are going to destroy all the other old tires of this particular model in their warehouse. Hopefully their quality control will be updated in the future to recognize old tires before they are shipped. read more

I've had very positive experience in the past with this company until my last order. Their policy on returns are an absolute joke. Its supposedly an "easy" process but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I ordered brake pads for my 2012 Victory Cross Country and I received brake pads that were nothing like the OEM that was on my bike. The website claimed they were the right ones but they were about an inch or more too short. When I called to let them know that they were wrong and that I needed them replaced in 9 days for our trip to Yellowstone they requested a picture for them to look at and they understood my plight so someone was to call me right back. NOPE no call I called them the next day and they acknowledged that they were wrong and they do not have the right ones. I wasted 3 weeks on this fiasco, 2 weeks to get them and another week to try to get it straight. I was told they would send me a pre printed return label to send the wrong ones back and I never got it until I emailed them then they sent one out finally. They felt really bad about the run around I received and sent me a $15 coupon to use for future purchases. When I received my refund it is $10 dollars less than it should be. They can keep the coupon, I wasn't planning to use it anyway as I am done with this joke of a company, I just want my FULL refund back. Very unprofessional and a pain in the A$$ to deal with. You can get much better service elsewhere even if its a buck or 2 more for something and they will get the order right (Motorcycle Superstore). Easy ordering online or on the phone. They have most things in stock, so they ship out quickly from their location. Not drop shipped from all over the country. If you have a return, you have to pay for shipping, but they make it easy. You can pay for shipping when you get an return authorization, and print a label. Just drop it off at Fedex or the US Post Office. It seemed like just actual cost on the shipping charge. Close to Priority Mail price, but less than Fedex. I placed a pretty large order and was given wrong information over the phone about one of the parts prior to ordering. When the stuff arrived, the handguards needed a separate adapter. I called to order the adapter, fully expecting to pay for the new part, and told the guy on the phone the story about the misinformation. I confirmed my identity and have ordered previously. Days later my order had not shipped and the concern was the size of the roof but was assured it was moving forward. A couple of days later still not shipped. Asked to speak to a supervisor and spent 8 minutes on hold then disconnect. Called back and talked to a alleged supervisor and got the same story of package size. Have they never shipped a Polaris General roof? I'm only providing you with my point of view and feedback on a transaction for buy a set of tires and the frustration I have encountered. I purchased a set of tires from Rocky Mountain in June. I installed on my bike, which costed me $100. Rode on the tires for a day and discovered some issues. Sent a picture of the issue and was asked to return the tires under warranty. However, I don't have a garage therefore I needed to install a set of tires in order to take off the faulty one. Although they approved the return, they wouldn't send my a replacement even after knowing that I was a return customer. They forced me to purchase a new set of tires and told me they would give me a credit once they receive the bad tires. Well, all this was done on the phone but they wouldn't send it in writing. This means I paid for the same set twice and now will cost me another $100 to reinstall the new tires. Keep in mind that July is the riding season and motorcycle maintenance is not that easy to schedule and to do it in a rush mechanics will charge an arm and a leg. Also, I haven't been able to ride my bike since beginning for the whole month of July. I called today to say I'm happy to keep the bad tires and use them for my upcoming and paid track day but will do that only if you discount them for me. I think its fair. This way I don't have to take them off immediately and save my self time and money while still keeping my second purchase. The answer I received was that they can't do that. Anyhow, paid for a new set, then they shipped to the wrong address!! Now I'm out of time, out of pocket 2 sets of tires, missing my riding days, my time, and will be out of pocket another $100 to reinstall the tires and have to take time off to ship the bad one pack to them. Bought a set of tires for my Father for father's day. Had them installed at the local dealer. The tires vibrate so bad that the atv is not safe. While at our cabin I did online chat and troubleshooting on a Saturday. Victor deemed them to be defective and told me that the warranty department would contact me Monday. I never heard from them so I contacted them back on Wednesday. They then wanted me to do more troubleshooting. By this point I'm at home and the ATV is at the cabin. They instructed me that my only other option was to ship the tires back to them so they could send them to the manufacture to be tested. If i did this my father would be without tires for months. Not happening... They offered to return them is I paid for shipping of the DEFECTIVE tires back to them, and paid a hefty restocking fee. I have been using RM for over 4 years. They are FAST with their service. Sometimes I get my items the next day (I am in Ohio, and one of their main warehouses are in KY, but, still Im 400 miles from it). I am so disappointed in the customer service I have received from Rocky Mountain ATV! Product wise, I have had great success. However, when I placed an order over a week before our 4-wheeling trip and didn't receive our products in time, I would have thought it would be an easy thing to take care of...instead, Rocky Mountain had sent a second shipment of the products because "they didn't know where they were". I now have 2 times the products I ordered, plus the additional products that I had to go to a store and purchase on our way out of town for our trip. There was NO compensation for this huge inconvenience and they made me feel like I was the one responsible for this huge fiasco in the first place. I ordered a tender spring swap for a 2016 rzr highlifter edition.. when the springs arrived, they were not even close to what I needed for my rzr. I called customer service and the first guy I spoke to just said " I have no Idea what could be wrong let me ask a tech".. He came back and said "the tech said put them on the back" .... WOW just WOW I hung up the phone and called back only to find the next guy was just as clueless!!!!! After researching my problem, I found that the springs did not fit my rzr so I called and requested a refund.. They immediately told me that I ordered the wrong spring and this was my fault!!! I am an ase certified master technician... I can find the right parts if your look up is accurate!!!! So, back to my refund!!! Ordered a set of 4 4/156 Method Race Wheels 401 Beadlock Wheel 15x7 4.0 + 3.0 Matte Black. I received 3 new wheels in new condition and one wheel had been opened before due to the extra tape on the box. This wheel was missing the beadlock ring and hardware. The wheel had the valve stem installed already also. Not a new wheel! Called and told Rocky Mountain ATV about the wheel about ten minutes after the delivery driver dropped them off on 8/23/18. He told me they would ship out the missing parts that day. I used the chat feature on the website on 8/23/18 to get the tracking information and was informed nothing had been shipped out. I still have not received the missing parts or any information when the missing parts will be shipped out. When I ordered them they told me they had 43 wheels in stock so I know that is not an issue. read more

Great products and overall great service. Why only two stars? My orders have been repeatedly flagged and delayed for security reasons. As someone who performs motorcycle maintenance for myself and others, I place multiple and frequent orders. This causes a fraudulent activity warning and delays the shipping of my parts by up to three days. Even after spending time on the phone with a representative and verifying my card and being assured I would no longer have a problem, its still a problem. Another representative let me know that this will continue to happen and their is nothing they can do about it. Even dealers spending millions with them have to call and rectify this 2-3 times daily. What?!? That is the reason for only two stars. While I appreciate Their concern and protection of my account, I already have someone who does this for me... my credit card company. There should always be something you can do about any problem that arises, especially for a company this size. I recently purchased 4 tires and wheels for my ATV. The experience started out very positive from a Sales prospective but was all negated by the Customer Service Dept. Two of my tires arrived in a timely manor but the 2nd two were held up by FedEx due to weather and returned to their terminal on a Friday. The tires sat there for 7 days even thou the weather cleared by the third day. when I called FedEx, they were unable to locate the tires. I called Rocky Mountain on the following Thursday and they agreed to send another shipment to arrive on the following Monday. The next day, Friday, I received a call from FedEx notifying me that they had found the tires in their Terminal and could deliver them. I told the lady at FedEx that I had already contacted Rocky Mountain and that a replacement shipment was on the way and that they need to return the ones that they had to Rocky Mountain. The lady told me that they would do that. Today, Monday, the FedEx tuck arrives with the replacement tires as well as the ones they were suppose to return to Rocky Mountain. I told the Driver that I did not want the extra tires and that he needed to take them back to the Terminal. He told me that he could not do that and that I needed to contact FedEX to get a pick up authorization so he could come back tomorrow to pick them up. Next thing I know, I receive a call from Rocky Mountain Customer Service telling me that they were sending me an return authorization and that I needed to load them in my car and take them to the closest FedEx Office for return to Rocky Mountain. which is 25 minutes away. When I refused to take them and requested a Customer Pickup, i was told that I was being uncooperative and that they would have to charge me for that?????? ......only after arguing with the lady at Rocky Mountain for 20 minutes, she RELUCTANTLY agreed telling me that I was not being fair ????? I ordered a big bore kit for my bike 19 days ago and I am still yet to receive my package. I spent a ton of money on the site and have still not received anything. I've reached out multiple times and up until today ( 19 days after the order was made and money left my account ) I have been given nothing. No information on what's going on, no heads up that it will be late. Absolutely nothing. I did not get Order confirmation from them until I called and waited for 20 mins. They then told me something went wrong. Did not give any information on what, just said that it would be 12-16 days from the process date. Mind you they did not process the package for 7 days and didn't do anything about it until I called. I'm scheduled to receive it 21 days after my order date. I called asking them to make it right somehow and they told me they could not help me. 0/10 do not recommend ordering. Customer service is awful. All they do is repeat themselves when you are trying to come up with a solution. Never imagined I would have to wait almost a month to receive a package I spent almost $700 on. Nearing 180 days since order placed in January 2019 and have just disputed the purchase through PayPal. I have given Rocky mountain atv plenty of opportunity to fix this and they refuse to. I have sent them the order confirmation and payment confirmation emails which have my current address and they shipped package to my home that was sold a year and a half prior to me even using Rocky mountain atv. They did not have my old address but somehow got it from online or God knows how and they then changed the shipping address and will not admit fault in this transaction. I will never ever ever use them again and have never ever had this kind of problem or bad customer service from any business or private sellers on Ebay or even people on craigslist for that matter. Thank goodness it was a small order, I used them for one small order on a trial basis and they failed big time. Possibly the worst online experience yet! I just Got off the phone with Bank of America. I had to file a claim it got so bad. Let's start from the beginning. They sent me a new pro circuit pipe without o rings? They have a video on their website stating all their pipes come with new o rings. Don't worry about purchasing o rings. The man in the video says. I called them, told them about the video and how they sent me a pipe with no o rings! Of course they didn't believe me. Told me they would call me back about the video. They thought I was full of it. Got a call back, we will be sending you those o rings. Sorry about that. Once I received the o rings. Tried to install the new pipe. Still missing parts! I called them 3 separate times with 3 diff problems. All could have been avoided if they would have checked their facts and done their job correctly. I just gave up. Sent the pipe back. I was over them and their nonsense and lack of knowledge on the products they sell. I was told the money was refunded and I'd have to wait 1-10 business days. Normal of course. Bank of America sees no money or no refunded issued. Even though I was told the money was put back in. I was on a three way call with Rocky Mtn atv and Bank of America and they put us on hold. Which we thought was weird, I guess the decided to make the refund once I had my bank give them a call. We were on hold for at least 5 mins. This is what happens when you try something new. Sometimes. You will either enjoy it or hate it. They tried to make things better by sending me a 25$ gift card but didn't want to issue my refund right away. Another thing, when a customer asks for a supervisor or boss! You get them, you don't tell me you can't find them or tell me you can help me. Every time I asked for a higher up, they would give me some bs excuse. I never write reviews this long. This was an awful experience and they did nothing to make it better but offer me a lame 25$ gift card. The fact the lied and said they did stuff and stuff was not done really upset me. Once I got he bank involved it was all good! They have no knowledge of the products they sell. No one has called me or checked in to see how things are going. The KTM dealer in Carson priced matched and gave me the part cheaper! I just feel like a company that says they really strive for customer service. I understands mistakes happen. The Good: -Prices are inline with other online motorcycle dealers. (RevZilla, Motorcycle Superstore, JPCycles, ETC) - Their A.R.C. gear and Tusk gear see to be decent quality at good prices. -Shipping is fast. I'm in the Idaho and I often get my order the next day. The Bad. -Sometimes the pictures and/or videos do not represent the product. Ordered bags that showed metal clips but really had plastic ones. Had to return. -Searching for a part on for your specific bike is a nightmare. You can browse for parts specific to your bike but it doesn't show "universal parts" that fit many bikes. If you search for a specific part then you have to click on each part to see if its compatible -Parts Technicians are not very good. They told me the wrong pannier rack for the panniers I purchased. -Returns are a NIGHTMARE. 1. YOU pay for shipping. Regardless if the parts technician was at fault for you getting the wrong gear or the pictures \ description was inaccurate. 2. If you mount the gear on the bike and even scratch a bolt its a %35 damage fee. The pretty much refuse to work with you on this. I damaged a 50 cent bolt and it cost me $65 damage fee $25 shipping cost. I was out $90 on a $165 purchase. The only reason I had to return it was because their parts technician gave me the WRONG INFORMATION. If it were my fault I would have understood the damage fee but it was 100% their fault. 2 Weeks ago I would have gave them 4 stars. But after I did my first return I'll be shopping else where from here on out. If you do decide to buy here and need info from a parts technician then make sure you use the chat and send the transcript. Since I had no record of the chat they basically were calling me a liar. I spent 3K on gear for my bike in 6 months on this site and after i spent an hour on the phone with 3 different people they reduced the damage fee by $7. read more

I placed my order over the phone because I had a couple of questions. I ordered tires and wheels for my 2020 rzr xp4 (tire and wheel package). I asked if I could get the bead lock ring in a different color they couldn't answer that, then I asked if I needed lug nuts or if the stock ones would work they couldn't answer that either. I went ahead and ordered the splined lug nuts and a spline key to go with the lug nuts. The guy I spoke with was gonna send me the wrong size lug nuts until I told him they were wrong. After I hung up I realized I forgot to ask if the tires would be mounted so I called back, nobody could answer that even after 4 call backs. I proceeded with the purchase I received the tire and wheels they were mounted Thanks. I received the lug nuts about 4 day later. They sent me regular hex lug nuts, but they still sent me the spline key for them makes no sense. I figured oh well I'll just use these ones. So when I went to install the wheels I realized the lug nuts were the wrong size (thread pitch). I called them the next morning a supervisor said they would send me the right ones OVER NIGHT well over night turned into 3 more days. So I called AGAIN they said oh we're sorry they weren't over nighted, but told me how sorry they were so he gave me a measly $20.00 gift card. So I figured I might as well use this $20, so I bought mirrors for the same machine the bolts they sent were way to short so I had to go buy new bolts. The real kicker of this whole debacle was I wrote a review on the tire and wheel situation and it never posted and it was not derogatory at all. When I talked to them and told them they said If It was negative they don't post it. I then wrote another review about the mirrors and it was mostly good except for the issue with the bolts, again it was not posted cause I gave them a 3 star rating. I think what pisses me off more than anything was I took the time to write the reviews and I NEVER write reviews. Rocky Mountain has the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. They are VERY incompetent and have know idea about their own products. read more
