After charging my card, confirming the order info over the phone, they still wanted to verify another charge to my card before shipping my order. I order online so I do not have to go to the local motorcycle shops because I'm busy working. I ordered everything and it shows up in the time they said it would. But now it shows up and I have to be home to sign for it. Now I have to take a half-day off of work and drive 100 mile round-trip to the closest FedEx location. If I wanted to drive somewhere I would've just went to the local motorcycle shop. They do not grasp why people shop online. read more

I'll start this review by saying I've purchased literally thousands of dollars worth of product from Rocky Mountain ATV over the years. I've always had a great experience until now. Albeit I've never had to do a return. After this experience they have now lost my business for good. Here is the situation. I ordered a pair of knee braces on Wednesday, paid for second day air to get them for the weekend's planned rides due to my previous pair of braces failing the weekend before after years of good use. Friday the braces arrive but in the box are two right braces, not a pair of left and right. I call customer service and speak to Jonathan who informs me he will have to contact the warehouse to find out why the error was made, and I should hear back from him later that day. Knowing that my weekend ride plans were shot I was disappointed but due to my previous experience anticipated the error would be taken care of. A couple of days of riding are an extremely valuable thing to me and now I was going to miss them. I figured it was a simple mistake and they would make it right. I didn't get a return call on Friday. On Saturday afternoon I finally got a call from Jonathan telling me that I needed to send photos to prove the braces were in fact two right braces and not the pair. I was driving at the time and had no way to take down the information needed to send these photos, so I asked that he send me an email with instruction on where to send and repeated the spelling of my email twice to ensure he got it. No email followed that conversation. After no communication I finally called on Tuesday of the following week to follow up and got Jonathan again. No explanation as to why I hadn't seen that email just a pompous attitude greeted my call. This all from a mistake on the vendors end. One who claims, "Easy Hassle-Free Returns". Sending in the requested photos I got the return label the following day and was assured I would receive a full refund for both the mistaken two right knee braces as well as the two-day air I paid to make my weekend ride. Tracking the return package, they have now been back at Rocky Mountain ATV for 12 days. I still don't have a refund. Needless to say, I ordered the braces from another retailer instead. Easy hassle-free returns, I think not. This has been the worst shopping experience I've had in a long time. I have been waiting for my package over 2 weeks now. The first package was delivered quickly but the oil leaked all over everything. I called and complained they finally sent me a FedX return label to return everything but the oil. They got the returned items 5 days ago and I am still waiting for them to ship all of the stuff again. It's now been 2 weeks since I ordered the first round. I have shopped exclusively through Rocky Mountain for years, but they have obviously made some poor changes in the company. I got a product that did not work right. In the past, it was handled within 24 - 48 hours. Now you get an email saying that will be the case, but I have waited over 2 weeks and STILL can't get this crap taken care of. They never give me an update. I always have to reach out to them to get an update and when I do they always have some ridiculous update. Now I am having to reach out to the manufacture of the part. Sad to see what has happened to this company and I see why everyone keeps jumping ship and putting bad reviews now. read more

Purchased four tires for ATV. Got the dimensions off from their website. It stated that it would fit our new Honda talon. We put them on and the two front tires increased the width of the machine So it would not fit in our toy hauler. Did not use the tires at all. removed them and put on the stock tires back on. Spoke with them and they were very reluctant to acknowledge that their web page stated they would fit and be the same size . But Rocky Mountain tires changes the width of the front of the machine. Could not get any satisfaction from them. Their website indicated that they would fit. We felt that it was their error and they should reimburse us for the tires and pay shipping to get them back. Customer service is a nightmare. Could not talk to the manager but just a salesman who thought he knew it all. Very disappointed in this business. You would think that they would acknowledge their mistake and receive the tires back and refund the money. read more

I have been a loyal customer of RM for years (15+). I know things have been crazy for the last 2 years but my issues with them is NOT the lack of supply but the lack of attention and customer service! My last 2 orders have been messed up. They have sent "incorrect" oem part in bags with the "correct" part numbers. I'm thinking that they are buying oem parts in bulk and packaging them for distribution to the costumer's. Back in the day i would called RM costumer service they would take care of any issues immediately. Now they ask you to email tech with a small problem and you just get an (auto reply) email saying...due to the high email inquiry we will get back to you shortly. Days later you get an email saying... how can we assist you? "What ever". All i want is the correct parts that I ordered and shipped in a timely matter but thats not the case, They want pictures, order #, "are you sure"...etc, etc. They eventually Figure it out that they have made the mistake and handle it, but now weeks later and my bike is still apart and no parts when i kneed them the most. Just a cluster f%#k. I like the convenience of having the parts shipped to my door but if it is not what I ordered i rather go to the dealer, pay a little more and get what i ordered. RM ATV has really gone down hill the past couple of years and it shows. What a terrible business. We ordered some parts from them that were critical to our business and time sensitive. Everything seemed to be fine. They didn't call us until two days later, essentially not believing we were who we said we were. They started questioning us about what coffee shops were close to our address and asking the most ridiculous questions. I spent an hour on the phone while they refused to ship me the critically needed parts. They finally agreed to send it but refused to send it to our shipping address. Yesterday I ordered a pair of OEM harnesses for my SxS from the Rocky Mountain website.It was on back order, I was totally ok with that. This morning I checked my email for a confirmation. There was none. So I called customer service told them what happened and wanted to have my order looked up. She said she couldn't find it, then was disconnected. I called back and spoke to another rep. He was very rude. And told me the price had changed overnight. So I asked if Rocky Mountain would honor the price I ordered them at. He said no. My order was flagged as fraud (based on the different names on the shipping/billing address) so they wouldn't take the order on a credit card. But, if I wired the money to them, they would honor the order. So I did that and in the process, they made a clerical error and shipped everything to the BILLING address - instead of the SHIPPING address. After four phone calls, they now have refused to pick up the boxes, and I had to haul the shipment (which included ATV tires...to UPS to ship them to the correct location, $385 later.. As you can imagine, I'm very displeased with the outcome. While sitting on hold on the phone with them, their on hold verbiage states that, "they take pride in processing and shipping your order correctly". Clearly, that's not the case. read more

I have been doing business with them for 12 years now. As long as you don't have an order issue they are fine. If there's an issue the people on the phone apparently have no power to make decisions. I ordered a 600.00 dollar set of beadlocks and one beadlock had a gash apparently from shipping, I called them from the tire shop installing them and they said they would send another right away so I could get it swapped before my ride the following weekend. It didn't arrive quick enough, they called 30 days later and I told them I would have to take the tire off the utv and either do it myself or pay the shop to swap it out. The guy said he will cancel the tag and when I got time or pulled the wheels to change for season go ahead and send it later it wasn't an issue. Now I make a 130.00 dollar order and they take the money but hold the item hostage. So I call to ask why.... THE GUY ON THE PHONE SAYS HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING SORRY. I canceled the order asked them to send a new call tag and I will send the new beadlock ring as I am not paying to have the shop pull the damaged ring and I won't order from them again. I bet the getting the 30.00 dollar beadlock ring back quicker was worth losing a long term customer for. read more

Finally got through to them, because an item was no longer available that said was in stock when I ordered. They promised the order would ship that day. They also said there shipping delivery is accurate. . . Lies. Now it is the day before it is supposed to be delivered and it is still "processing". I have been ordering parts from Rocky Mtn for well over a decade. Great company, never any problems. Since they have started using OnTrac, I have had to call to chase down every order. They say it was delivered, it wasn't. Usually it shows up a few days later because I spend so much time trying to track it. On March 24th, I ordered an oil & 4 tires. I got the oil. The tires were missing. Called RM who said they couldn't help me. As soon as it leaves the facility, they have no control. So much for customer service. After the first call to OnTrac, within 24 hrs, they changed the status to delivered, but it wasn't. After numerous calls and having an investigation opened at OnTrac, status was changed to mis-delivered and they said they could not retrieve the package. Called RM and they said I need to wait two weeks. For what I'm not sure. In the meantime, I had to order tires from someone else and can no longer continue to do business with RM until they get their delivery system sorted out. Be prepared to go through hell to get your parts. It's April 13th and no resolution. read more

I ordered a set of Speed Straps from this company that were "in stock" and paid for 2-Day shipping because we were leaving for a trip and needed new straps for our rig. The delivery date was scheduled 2 days before we were leaving. It ended up taking 4 days to receive them. After opening them, we found one of the clasps was stuck and would not close. I emailed twice, never got a response, used the live chat feauture and the person just gave me a link to file a warranty claim, so I ended up calling. I explained the whole thing about the shipping delay and the issue with the clasp. I told him I would like to just send the product back and get a refund, I do not want to use a product that already has a problem right out of the box. The person I talked to on the phone first addressed the shipping issue by explaining that they are really backed up due to COVID and is causing delays with FedEx. Whatever delays or issues they are having is between them and the carrier, not the consumer paying for shipping. He also said they are no longer offering 2-Day shipping when you check out which is great for the next person but at the time of my purchase it was offered. He told me he would "try" to see what he could do for the shipping yet never asked for any of my information in order to refund me the cost which means that that was all lip service. Secondly, they want you to go through the hassle of taking pictures to send to them in the event of a defect so they can determine if they will warranty it or refund it. As a business owner myself, I do no have time to go back and forth taking and emailing pictures to wait around for a response which I am not confident I would get in a timely manner since I already haven't received correspondence via email, got very generic answers through live chat, and received no real assistance with someone over the phone. Although they had a better price on the item I bought than anywhere else, I would recommend purchasing products elsewhere that have a more convenient and efficient way of conducting business. Rocky Mountain ATV are becoming the worst crooks. Back in early 2018, my husband and I purchased a bit of gear. I was learning to ride and didn't know what sizes I needed and he was just wanting new stuff. We placed a few orders and had to return some things. We were tracking all our returns and credits. One return didn't seem to come through even though RM Atv said it had. We called to ask what card they returned it to. They refused to give us any details what so ever. Just repeated they had issued the return. Also their Order Summary have limited information on them. Which is fine except you have no way to validate information accurately or discredit them. We tried asking a manager etc. During this time we had an issue and one of my husbands cards was replaced due to some fraudulent charges. They wanted us to tell them our card number to verify the card the credit was issued on. It became a hassle that we tried working through for a couple months. I finally had had enough and took it to my bank to see if they could help. My bank was able to comb through everything and located the return. The bank had applied it to another account. (Their fault, not RM). Here is where RM are becoming crooks. My husband is now trying to purchase a gift card for his brother and RM put a hold on his account saying we OWE them money and have an outstanding balance. How is that possible? They are now saying there is an issue with the gear we sent back. OVER A YEAR AGO. Save yourself the hassle and don't do business with this company. They are garbage. read more

Okay, so I went with Rocky Mountain because the prices were good and they had a large selection. BUT...they call me they day after placing the order and say they can't ship to a different address. It needs to be the billing address. I don't want my kids Christmas gifts showing up on my door step for them to see or someone to steal. I have everything I order online shipped to my office. So, I spent an hour last night going through and selecting 3 shirts, 3 pants, 3 helmets, 3 boots, 3 goggles, and 3 chest protectors, which now was a waste of my time. I would not recommend them. Very frustrating experience. I purchased a Yamaha Super Tenere side case a couple of weeks ago and the item arrived damage at my home. I took some pictures and requested a return. Also I requested a new item to replace the damage one. However, after more couple of weeks and after several calls from my side they told me that the item was in back order, in other words, not in stock. So I had to cancel the order and a huge waste of time. The communication channel between the store and customer was terrible since the beginning. Unlike the other posts. I guess people only post when it's bad, I have been using these guys for a couple years now. I use about 3 online places for price and other things if one does not have it. I can honestly say that I have NEVER had a problem with them, I order a metric butt ton of stuff as I have two CRF 450's that I continuously work on. Terrible customer service. Shipped my items to the wrong address and absolutely refused to help in any way. I arranged with FedEx that all they had to do was call and request the item be repicked up and refused to make the call even when I offered to pay for the shipped. Terrible company. Ordered tires and wheels for my atv and wanted it shipped to my house in the country where my atv is located. Told me they could not accept credit card because of the different delivery address and had to wire funds. I wire the funds to rocky mtn and ship the tires to the wrong address while I am at the country house waiting for the delivery. Items were sent back and was told they could not ship it to the 2nd address. Wasted my time sending money and traveling to wait for a delivery that was told would be there and then not following thru. Worse company I ever dealt with online. read more

I placed an order online and entered all my information correctly. Then I received and email and a phone call. I called back and had to spend 10 minutes verifying everything I typed correctly when I made the order. At one point they asked me to verify that there was a bank next to my billing address. It seemed super shady and invasive. I have no idea what having a bank next to my billing address has to do with ordering. Purchased a Wiseco piston and wring kit for my YZ450F in the kit they sent the wrong wrist pin. RMATV refused to send a the correct wrist pin. They said I needed to send the complete set back. I instead had to purchase a wrist pin which is coming direct from Wiseco. A week later I still can't put my bike together because I don't have the parts. Customer service was not helpful at all and at points rude. Last order I will ever place with them. read more

First ride after receiving new boots, over $200, the boot strap broke before even starting the bike. I contacted RM first thing Monday and was told to send pictures and they would review in the next couple days and if it wasn't abuse they would contact mfg to see if it would be covered. Two days later, I'm told they are busy and will be a couple more days before even reading my email. Lousy customer service if you have a problem, but they're super helpful to help you purchase. Rocky Mountain ATV in Utah, I trusted this company to provide more of a street style tire for my new RZR 1000. I selected the ITP Ultra Cross brand. Standard shipping took Monday thru Friday to my door. When mounted, I could not go over 40 miles per hour, my UTV shook so bad. I took both front tires in for a balance check and one was out of balance by over 22 ounces, I was told there was nothing that could be done with it. Called RM ATV immediately on Saturday for a replacement and was first told it was my problem because RM ATV did not mount the tires on my stock wheels which worked perfectly with the Big Horns that it came with. When I would not accept that response, I was then told to send pictures, my info and what was found to their warranty dept. I was then lied too saying their warranty dept would call me back ASAP on that day, Saturday. No one called only for me to find out hours later, their warranty dept is not even open on Saturday. I had to then call on Monday to explain the entire situation again. Each time you call RM you are on hold for at least 10 minutes before you get someone in customer service. Finally a FedEx return label by email. Now after more trips and time to remove the rubber from the wheel and FedEx to pick up, they still will not send me a replacement until the return scan shows up in their system. I just watched it being scanned at my door step. They promised to promptly ship a replacement upon scanning the return yet here I still wait on RM ATV. I have no confidence that without yet another 20 minute call to RM ATV tomorrow, Thursday, I will receive a tracking number to watch the standard 2 day delivery take a 5 day trip. I see a lot of customer disappointment in RM ATV and I only wish I would have looked at reviews prior to my purchase. read more

After being told to expect a motorcycle tire with a manufacture date up to a year old, I received a tire over three years old. This is not what I expected or wanted. As manufactures now recommend tires be replaced after six years, half of this tire's life is lost before being mounted on my bike. For a vintage bike seeing little use, this will age out before being worn out. Being able to inspect the merchandise before buying is a definite advantage with tires. What appeared to be a good deal turned out to be a mistake. read more

Run from this business. Ordered new UTV wheels and tires from them. Asked if they would come mounted in a chat window. Agent said they come mounted. Received them not mounted. Cost me another $80 (Thank you Les Schwab). Then to top that off no where did they tell me I'd need a special spline lug tool to tighten the lug nuts! I've had good experience in the past with RMATVMC with tires. But... I recently placed an order over $500 in off road accessories. They were shipped timely but a product was placed in the shipping box with obvious package damage and was missing 2 key components of proprietary hardware to mount. The rest was bouncing around the poorly packed shipping box. I sent an email to the suggested address and followed up by phone late the next morning after no response. The woman I spoke to on the phone was unsympathetic and cold. She asked what parts were missing and I asked if she was familiar with the product. She responded yes and I told her what was missing. She then said I needed to send pictures... I did, 6 times as their email was bouncing back "large attachments". She let me know that they would overnight the hardware to me. 48 hours later with nothing in the mail I received a call from RMATVMC stating that the hardware was ready to ship and I'd see it in 4 days. I requested an RA# to return the incomplete product opted out of the tardy hardware. This is a very competitive industry and there's no room for a lack of customer service. I own a retail goods shop (Not Powersports) and this lack of attention would never be tolerated by anyone involved in my business. I won't be back to RMATVMC- I'll opt to order from one of the hundreds of other retailers in the USA. read more
