I ordered a set of 4 tires and wheels. I was sent 2 mounted wheels and tires that a weren't mine. I contacted a customer service representative. First thing I asked was where is my order? Then I asked why I wasn't given the option of mounting and balancing since after seeing the other guys invoice that was sent to me the option is FREE. I was informed that it was "buried" at the bottom of the page and hard to find. "I should have called" she said. Then I was told I would have to ship the other guys tires and wheels back and they would have to receive mine from the other guy before mine would be shipped. Honestly one of my worst online buying experiences ever. I ordered an item from their website and they sent me the wrong item and the item they sent me was also previously used. Bad start. Then I had to call in probably 6 times in order for them to even send me a return label. The first call they made me send an email with pictures of the wrong item and its damage to their warranty department. No response. Each following call resulted in someone saying they would send me the return label, never happened. I had to hound them until they finally sent the return label. Once I finally received the return label and quickly sent back the item, I had to call about another 5 times to get my refund processed. Once I received my refund, they didn't even refund me for shipping, even though they sent me the wrong item! Absolutely terrible. read more

I like the youtube show and have a lot of respect for guys, but I was not impressed on how the business operates. First time i ordered parts - worked great , got everything in two days. Second time : ordered few parts with one of them being on back order, with estimated arrival within two days from order date. Five days later I still did not get shipping confirmation email. So I called- apparently there were two of the parts that they were out of: the one that was initially on backorder got delayed by a extra week, PLUS they could not locate another part and next time they would get it in stock is in two months. I understand delays maybe due to covid, but what I dont understand, why parts that were available at the time of placing the order did not get shipped right away. And why I did not get notified about delays/availability issues so that I would not wait for nothing. What would have happened if I did not call? Parts ordered were completely wrong for my machine. The 5 star reviews here are obviously employees there. When calling I have been greeted by tween girls who have never rode motorcycles or quads! By their line of questioning it is obvious. Everyone needs a job...but training for this is a must. Even the replies to these posts are regurgitated drivel. Their "tech team" takes at least 5 days to get back to you......this is for a 20$ front sprocket...bikey can't worky with out main drive. The only reason I will use them in the future is for tusk and only when the other options are so difficult to attain that it will be my last choice. No matter the cost. read more

I should have definitely went to the reviews before purchasing. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. My order was being shipped to the wrong address so I called to get it sorted out. The package was already shipped out so they said to contact the shipper. I did and was asked to fill out the appropriate address request form and they would be able to get it out to my correct address. The shipper also said they would also need approval from the shipper via email or call. I called back RM ATV to and they said they would not give approval for an address change. They would however charge me $14 to do the address change but that is was not guaranteed to be delivered to the new address. They have absolutely lost my business for good and I will tell every rider I know not to buy from this store. read more

Have been a long time customer of RM ATV; however, customer service has become terrible. Ordered a part for CanAm X3 which fits per their website; however, part does not fit with door bags. A simple measuremnt of spacing and part is clear it won't fit. They are requiring me to pay for return shipping, even though their website is misleading. They gave me some song and dance that if I took a picture of the part on my CanAm and send to their tech department they would CONSIDER waiving a portion of the shipping costs, but to do that I would have to take it out of packaging, which then voids their refund policy. What sense does that make? Now it's only $10 to ship via UPS; however, I shouldn't have to pay for that. If their customer service rep would simply look at my history, they would see I was a long time customer that has purchased 100+ items, and has never had a prior return. You would think there would be some appreciation of customer loyalty. Well, there is not, and that's their choice to charge me return shipping; however, they have lost a long time customer over $10. Lousy business model in my opinion, and terrible customer service to a long time customer. Do not recommend anymore, service has gone downhill, take your business elsewhere. Read last 50+ reviews before ever consider buying from RM ATV their customers are speaking loud and clear what customer service/return issues are, but they take no action to correct. If you have to return a product, you are obviuosly flat out of luck. Speak with your wallets and shop else where, speak on mulitple social media platforms. Perhaps one day they will realize this $10 in return shipping for errant information on their website is costing them thousands of dollars in future revenue by lost customers and negative social media reviews. One other note, if you post a negative review on their website, they don't post it. They police your review before posting, and apparently decide to simply not post negative reviews, ones they would advise customers of fit issues and not to waste their time. Review contains no profanity, or slandering individuals, or misinformation, just facts as in this review; but they withhold any negative comment regarding their customer service or return policies. Thought I'd write a review here were they are real and not fabricated like on their sellers sites. Their policy is to hold the customer responsible at all costs even when it's their mistake. I bought some wheels and tires due to their "satisfaction guarantee" line on the website. The wheels were sent to my house only wrapped in light plastic. No cardboard covering the aluminum rim. Of course it was damaged but when you plan on screwing the customer this is ok. I call customer service and the said you have 2 options. Send the wheel and tire back and leave yourself with only 3 wheels while they decide weather or not to replace it. Or buy a 5th wheel and tire at 250 a pop and we decide to refund you the cost of a damaged wheel that could have been avoided in the first place with a small amount of cardboard. I can't do neither. Can't move the vehicle with only 3 wheels and I can't afford a 5th one. This is not satisfaction guarantee! This is "we will do what is right for Rocky mountain ATV". I need them to send me a new wheel undamaged and have driver pick up the old one. Simple.... The refused! ​so since I didn't get what I ordered due to their laziness and lack of rim protection I filled a case with PayPal. RMATV says now they can't further help me due to the open PayPal case. November 13, 2023 Update: After being contacted by Kourtney from RMATV and forwarding the emails and info on the situation to her she got involved and took care of the issue. They refunded the cost of the incorrect part and also sent me a gift certificate for my trouble. Thanks Kourtney and RMATV for renewing my faith in your operation. Horrible experience yesterday with RMATV. I have been a loyal customer for many years choosing their online store over many of the other big ones. I recently ordered two tires and two OEM fuel line parts for a KTM. Tires and one formed hose was fine but the second hose was the incorrect part number. The part shipped was very close numerically being only one digit off. I took pictures of the part shipped in the bag, of he existing hose on the bike that has the correct part number printed on it then printed out the invoice, marked it up and also printed a screenshot of a random shopping cart load that shows the RMATV stock number and the OEM part number. It is clear that someone in the warehouse must have either grabbed the wrong part or loaded the parts bin incorrectly. I emailed it all to them along with a detailed explanation of the issues and asking them to ship the correct part overnight and provide a return label for the other part. Around 2pm I received an email from "Talyx" in customer service asking me to explain why the part did not fit. It was obvious that she either did not read my detailed email or did not understand anything about OEM parts. I immediately called them and spoke to a nice young man who struggled a bit with the situation but finally sent a return label and agreed that they could ship the correct part overnight. Then he told me that the part would not be there overnight because they had missed the shipping cutoff window by an hour. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he transferred me to "Allie C" who, after I told her that I had never seen this type of service from RMATV, informed me that she was doing me a favor by shipping me the part overnight. She said that they were giving me $32 in free overnight shipping which was more than the part cost. When I pointed out that this made no sense whatsoever and that I did not appreciated her confusing attitude then asked to speak to her supervisor she informed me that "this is the end, there is no one higher than me, everything stops here". The whole situation was a waste of my time and even when I explained that I needed to get this motorcycle back together and clear the shop they did not care. I will simply move on to another vendor and never shop here again which is sad as I have enjoyed RMATV over the years. I recently purchased an item from the online store and it was shipped to a wrong address and now I am out the item and the money. I had gone in to my personal info and changed my address. When I checked out it asked me if the shipping address was the same and i confirmed since I had just changed it. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I did an online order, chose my items, and paid. The next day I received an email saying that the company needed to speak to me immediately. I called them and at that point they told me that I needed to let them know 2 other items from other companies that I had purchased with my card to prove it was mine. I thought this was odd and checked the number and it was connected to the company. I got back on the line and they then told me that I needed to send them a wire transfer or use PayPal for my items (even though they already said they would process with my card) but gave me no reason why. Been ordering from them for years always been great. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I ordered $1000 of parts for a new klr650 build I was doing. After all parts had been delivered a windscreen had not been included, when I realized it never came I reached out to customer service. The customer service manager told me that it was my fault for not know what items were on each tracking number and told me it was suspicious I waited till everything had been delivered before reaching out. As if it was somehow unreasonable to wait for all packages to show up before realizing this item was not on its way. Even though the tracking numbers on the website do not list what items are included on each box just a tracking number. When I said I am busy I usually order things and assume they will show up, was told that a normal person would not do that as if I should have been anticipating bad service and fixed it on my own. Also told it was suspicious I did not save the boxes that showed up at varying times over the course of a week. News flash, many people are building and adding to a bike for an upcoming ride, I put parts on as they show up and throw out the packing. Refused to replace a the item I paid for and never received and offered to sell me another one. As if I would buy an item again they never sent me. Or somehow it makes sense of all the expensive parts I ordered to pick the cheapest thing in the order and try to make a fake claim on. This is absurd I was basically just robbed and told it was my fault. The worst customer service. If you wonder why the business has such low rating it's because it's well deserved. I ordered parts for my husband's dirt bike and they shipped them Ontrac. Using Ontrac should be a huge red flag for potential customers on its own. Ontrac's facility for day after day kept the package, then was out for delivery for multiple days ply to them be told the package is in fact lost. I tried to follow up with Rocky Mtn and got a different answer every time I called. The Reps at Rocky Mtn refused to provide any sort of customer support or retention. read more

She simply wouldn't provide any customer help. Horrible, horrible customer service. My tire was supposed to be here on Thurs,then Friday. Still no tire. FedEx doesn't deliver on the weekends so I'm screwed. Was supposed to leave state this morning to go riding with my dual sport group and had to cancel. I even called them on Monday and they assured me it would be here by Thurs. I just got off the phone with them and there is nothing they can do. They are a bunch of liars and they have set up the FedEx account to where you can't go pick you items up at the distributors. Ive spent thousands of dollars with this company and the way they treat you if you want to return an item, BEWARE!!! I ordered a part that came what apperared to be open and defective (probably why it was returned before) before they would even accept my return as a possibility I had to send pictures of a cap that was misaligned by approx .0005". this was all after I was on chat and phone for over an hour. I give up, I will never buy from here again. support your local shops or even Amazon, at least you can return something without feeling you are a burden to them. PS I called back and asked for a manager and "Ben" told me he couldn't transfer me unless he tried to resolve this first. Outside of the tire portion of RM's business, I think RM adds value for its customers, but its tire sales and policies makes me want to purchase from other retailers with newer inventory or local shops even if I have to pay a higher price to ensure I get a newer tire. The generally accepted optimal life expectancy of a tire is 6 years (even with controlled storage conditions) so most would understand getting a tire nearly 2 years old is less than thrilling. The times they ship to the wrong state actually make the times they do ship to the right place more special. And in response to Kourtney B, Business Owner, thank you for your response. I think it is fair to say that folks, myself included, come here to post a review after exhausting all of the energy and time they're willing to spend and this is a last resort. For instance, multiple calls and texts. Countless checks with carrier for tracking status. Checking email, trying to re-explain our situation to customer service folks. And ultimately, filing disputes with credit card companies with supporting evidence to demonstrate our cause is just. That your company's actions were intentional or not is irrelevant to my piece of mind. I give money in response for goods and services. After my experience I rate your company one star. I placed an online order on the 8th of June. On the 10th of June I get notified that there was a need to verify my credit card. Large order, first time buyer. I thought it was odd but went through the process and verified it. Apparently, this set my order back 2 days. I would have thought that the order would have been expedited. My order was shipped in 3 different segments. I called several times looking for a tracking number for my larger items. Never once got one. I kept getting told the order was in process. Finally, on the 17th of June, I canceled my order. The warehouse could not figure out where my wheel was, but did cancel the roof I ordered. I even sent their customer service folks an email explaining the concerns I have. as of the 19th of June, I still have not heard back from them. this is the email I sent to them. I must say I am thoroughly disappointed in the performance of your warehouse. I was called a few days after placing my order to verify my credit card. No one said anything about adding more time to my order. I had expected that since I was pulled from the queue to verify my credit card, that I would have been bumped to make sure there was no extra delay in the process. seems that is not the case. The gal I spoke with on the 16th was professional, but seemed to not really care. I have twice told your csr's that I was concerned that I spent a good deal of money with you guys and yet the website was down and I had no way to verify that my order is being processed. If this is the type of relationship that is acceptable, I will not be purchasing from your company again. I hope to have a tracking number tonight before I retire. Had I known this was going to be an issue with placing my order, I feel I would have driven there to get the items I needed last weekend. Bought a 'Motool Slacker' sag measuring device from Rocky Mountain ATV. literalky 10 mins after receiving it I had batteries in and was using it to measure sag on my motorcycle. the first 3 attempts the thing displayed gibberish for both free, and static sag. The 4th time it gave a measurement, however it was inaccurate. Turned the item off then back on snd tried again, snd again gibberish. this went on and on and on. So the next day I contacted Rocky Mountain ATV and attempted to initiate a return. I was told 'no warranty/returns in electronic items' . This obviously tells you that Rocky Mountain'a business model is peddling garbage to unsuspecting customers, then simply denying returns/refunds. unfortunately with the explosion in motorcycle sakes and accessories, they're getting away with it read more

Worst customer experience I've ever had I placed an order for several items, one of which has been out of stock recently and not available through other distributors. I received and email advising me that RM needed additional info. I called and the rep explained that since my order was over $1000 ( $1001.67 ) I had to process the order through PayPal or do a Wire Transfer?? I asked them to remove an item to drop the invoice amount so the order could be processed with my card but they refused. A supervisor later gave me a different story explaining that RM randomly selects orders and forces those orders to be processed via PayPal or Wire Transfer??? I'm a retailer myself and I've never heard of anything like that. The same supervisor later admitted that since it was my first time ordering I would have to place the order via PayPal or Wire Transfer regardless of the amount. This was a domestic order, not international and there was not an issue with the debit card I was using for the transaction. I cancelled my order and created a new account with another email to quickly get what I wanted and avoid the "random" selection issue. This time I only ordered the item I urgently needed but the same thing happened again and Customer service gave me the same BS song and dance about "randomly" selecting orders for special scrutiny. I have 37 retail stores & I can't imagine using a distributor who makes it so difficult to process a simple order. Now that I've seen these other reviews its clear I'm not alone with the bad experience. I've complained to the wholesaler & hopefully they will allocate more inventory to competent distributors read more

Every time I emailed, it would take at least 3 days to get a reply. I finally got tired of getting no where and used the chat customer service... All I got was the run around again and how they are contacting the carrier. They tell me they cant refund me or send another package until they have further information. It has been 2 weeks. unless they are using Kevin Costner as the postman to pass correspondence. that wait period is absolutely unacceptable. The customer service/ordering policies of this company are crazy! I ordered a bag to be sent to my son in another state. When they had a question they called me because I placed the order but they would not speak to me because "I was not the account holder" (although my name, address, phone, email and credit card number was there). Then they wanted to ship it to me instead of my son (who is in the military). Order canceled and reordered with my name first. THEN they had to charge my credit card 15 cents before they would charge it for the amount of the purchase. The purchase process was complicated and SO not customer friendly. First told it can take 3 days then told 3 to 8 days. Doing my research found out the shipper OnTrac never received the package. Worst experience in online purchasing I have had in my life. Crazy to see how many reviewers had similar experiences. Ordered an overpriced product. Was sent the WRONG product. Made me send a picture of the product which I promptly did. No response until I hounded them. Sent the item back to them immediately when I received the return shipping label. I was told they would 2 day me the product I payed them for. Waiting...waiting...no product. When I contact customer support for the 10th time they essentially just say...our mistake we'll check on it. Filing a complaint with BBB and reporting the charge on my card as fraudulent.
