Rocky Mountain ATV customer service - these people absolutely do not care about their customers. So I was given a trail tech vapor for a birthday gift. When opening I noticed that one of the tabs on the box was opened but did not think much of it since everything looked new. I installed it the same day it arrived. The display was on with the internal clock which stays on all the time. Once I got it all together I rolled the bike outside and then noticed that the unit did not display anything. No time - nothing. I replaced the internal battery 3 times with new ones so at that point its defective. I contacted returns department on 8/8 and was told to fillout a warranty form. and list describe the issue. Once I submitted they told me it would be up to 48 hours before I would get a reply. Saturday( No reply ) Contacted them on Monday was told Warranty Department is backed up sorry for the delay you should get one tomorrow (tues). Tueday (no reply) So I contacted them again was told the same thing. Today I called and asked to speak with a manager. Rep comes back on the phone and says the SAME THING. Did not even bother to give me a manger or supervisor. 7 days with a dead device and they have not reached out ONCE! read more

Do not do Business with Rocky Mountain Atv these guys suck I received a damaged tusk rear wheel for my 06 yz 250 shipped it back and before they sent me out the second wheel I made sure to tell Whalen to check to make sure there is no damage to the new wheel before sending! sure enough he did not do what I asked, and I received another damaged tusk wheel after calling and speaking with different reps I found out that there warehouse is just a hub that they are not checking parts that are coming in for damage there is no quality control with this company do yourselves a favor contact the manufacturer directly on any part you need and purchase directly from the source these middle man suppliers need to be cut out completely they do not deserve any business!!! Rocky Mountain used to be great; not anymore. Just read the other one star reviews. Ordered an off road jacket for my 5 year old kid. Jacket was to small and couldn't connect zipper. Jacket never left my living room. Arranged an exchange but upon receiving item back they charged me a 25% damage fee. Spoke with a few people over a couple of days to try and resolve. Only after I decided to file a credit card dispute claim did they work with me. Too many great priced online retailers out there more Customer centric than these guys. I would spend a little more money any day to have a better experience. Just not worth the aggravation. read more

Never again - loyal customer since 1990 - and they screw me on a tool. Came packaged in a way that it could have easily gotten scratched in transit. I removed it from the box held it up to the fork and could see it wasn't going to work. packaged it back up the same day I got it and sent it back . BTW a friend of mine bought tires from them - got the tires and they were past the date of being "fresh' he learned to ck the date from a video on their website. I've had a bit of frustration as a few others here. They provide great products and prices it's the service that needs a few tweaks to get it right. Myself I experienced parts shipped to wrong address after phoning order in and only to get it wrong anyway. I placed an order for axles and driveline sometime back and after waiting a period found out that there was an issue with billing address on charge card. After 3 frustrating hours with Rocky and Capital One I decided to make my purchase with Super ATV. They want to get it right but there seems to be a disconnect somewhere in the system. I'll continue to do business but very carefully. By the way that card I placed charge orders on I had made prior charges on with no problems so not sure what gives. If you wonder why the business has such low rating it's because they deserve it. I ordered some tires and they shipped them Ontrac. Using Ontrac should be a huge red flag for potential customers on its own. The tires ended up just sitting at Ontrac's facility for day after day, Ontrac said there wasn't a delay and they should have been delivered. I tried to follow up with Rocky Mtn and got a different answer every time I called. The Reps at Rocky Mtn refused to do a trace on the package because it showed at a warehouse despite not being delivered day after day. Overall if everything falls inline the place would probably be fine but if there is any issue don't expect any help from Rocky Mtn. I have ordered from them twice and had issues both times, where as Revzilla, Motosport Etc just seem to always get it right. There are better businesses out there. read more

Loved Rocky Mountain ATV until I had to return a product. Spent nearly $9,000 with them during the last three years and yet they refused to exchange a pair of Sidi boots that the sole fell off of after only 10 hours of riding time. I paid top dollar for the boots so that they'd hold up and yet they didn't. Rocky Mountain's excuse was that I was past the return period. They didn't care that 1) I received the boots in November and stored them during the winter, 2) that the boots should have lasted longer than 10 hours, and 3) that I've been a great and loyal customer. So sad that they can't stand by their customers.... I guess it's all about short term profits. We have a large family of riders and will take our business elsewhere. read more

This is the worst online ordering experience I've ever had. I ordered a helmet and dirtbike Pants. They kept delaying my order because the pants were on back order and would not send the helmet without the pants. After 1 month of waiting I called them again and they told me that now my pants would be back ordered for over another month. In order to cancel my order I had to send them 200.00. They said it would be refunded within a week. After sending the money just to cancel my pants, the 250.00 helmet I ordered turned in to a 417.00 helmet. I placed an order online for some items i needed, it was a total of 12 items including a helmet and a jacket for an upcoming ride. I pay via paypal, everything looks good. Few days later i check my email and i see an email from them asking me to call them to process my order (WTF?), at this point its to late for my items to be delivered on time. I called and they asked me for my name and phone number to confirm my identity, and then they ask me exactly what items did i order from them, i am driving so i don't have access to the list of items nor i remember all of them. The lady tells me to call them back when i am ready to tell them every single item i ordered, otherwise they cant process the order. I spent 2+ hours looking for this items on their website when i placed the order and i don't feel like going thru each item again. They should have called me immediately to address this concern of them and not wait for my call since. Maybe a few issues here or there but instead of griping on Yelp and giving them 1 out of 5 stars, I merely contacted them with questions and concerns. They have been nothing but great to me. As for the others: some will give a negative review because they bought the wrong part. Or maybe they've had excellent service for several years spending hundreds of dollars only to have them make one mistake and then give them poor reviews. Ridiculous. I had an issue with their pilot bags and they're trying to resolve it with me via email and/or phone. If they can't help me at least many of them tried. I have used Rocky Mountain ATV many times over the years and have had mostly good experiences. I liked how easy it was to get all my ATV/MC/UTV parts and accessories and the big selection of items. Unfortunately my last several experiences with this company has not been satisfactory. The last order I placed was shipped with ON TRAC the driver that made the delivery was so good at his job that he stood on the sidewalk in front of my house and dropped my package on my driveway. My driveway is not extremely long or steep the weather was good no ICE,SNOW,RAIN... well you can probably guess what happened to my package that was basically sitting on the sidewalk, yes it was snatched up. I have the entire thing on my security cam all happened in 47 minutes lol. I called ontrac and they said they couldn't help me because they are not responsible for any package even if they are found at fault lol what a F****** joke hahahah. They then said to call Rocky Mountain ATV. I called Rocky Mountain ATV and they pretty much said the exact same thing word for word. Long story short search for better companies to do business with then these two. Might spend a little more for the same stuff but in my experience the smaller companies care a bit more about there customers. Hope this helps anyone out there. read more

Today I placed a $1,200 order online with Rocky Mountain however I am glad I was able to cancel my order and wont be shopping with them again. I checked out using their website and went through their checkout process like any other online retailer. During the checkout process I wanted to have my order shipped to an alternative address then what my credit card was link to, so I filled out the form accordingly. I had procrastinated on ordering what I needed so I paid to have next day shipping. After placing my order with Rocky Mountain I went back to finishing a small project I was doing on my car. During that time I had received one missed call which was from Rocky Mountain. **Rocky Mountain did email me one time as well, but I don't get email alerts.** I called back to find out that my order had not been shipped. Per their protocols they are not allowed to ship an order to an alternative address from which the credit card is linked to. Why is that an option during checkout then? I would have just shipped it to the address my credit card is linked to. Why did you only call me one time considering I put next day shipping? Wouldn't you try harder to get in contact with me so my order would be on todays truck? When voicing my concerns to the gentleman from Rocky Mountain, he was very apathetic to my case. Basically my order didn't make todays truck and there was nothing that he could do about it. When I asked what my options were he started off by fumbling with the wrong date saying I would be able to get my order by Friday (tomorrow). After clarifying with him that he was indeed talking about tomorrow, he realized he was mistaken and changed his response to Monday. However for an extra $65 he could ship it fedex and it would arrive Saturday. My initial instinct was to yell at myself and pay the $65 because I still wanted my order. However, I realized this is not my fault. Your form...your protocol...your fault. Ultimately I decided to cancel my order. I was expecting a last minute plea for me to keep my order, but nope. The gentleman from rocky mountain continued nonchalantly to cancel my order. My case came down to customer service. If you don't care about me when I place what I consider a decent size order, you wont care about me when I have a smaller order. So they shipped the package with Ontrac, Ontrac marks it delivered, and that's the end of it. No photo of the delivery and no signature required. I'm out $200.00 because they choose to use the worst shipping company in existence. Ontrac concludes that the package was delivered and closed their investigation, Rocky Mountain tells me it was delivered. No evidence that it was delivered other than trusting the driver. We will not be using Rocky Mountain for any purchases in the future, and I urge others to do the same. Spend your money with a company that will actually deliver what you paid for. read more

I've placed an order on an item that was a timely matter for me. The item that was received was not the item that was ordered. I understand that accidents happen, but rocky mountain did not attempt to fix their mistake in a timely matter. I was told that they'll do their best to get the correct order to me the quickest, yet they refused to expedite the order after the urgency was brought to their attention. Instead of receiving the order on Wednesday April 10th and being able to fix my bike on the following weekend, they have said that the correct order was going to arrive on Monday April 15th. The order never arrived on Monday as was promised for the second time, instead it arrived on the following Wednesday. This whole debacle resulted in me not being able to use my bike for almost 2 weeks and this is my only means of transportation. They even tried to charge me for shipping the items back after their fuck up took so long to arrive and tried to argue that the reason the order took so long was because I've requested standard shipping. The fucking weasels denied to provide expedited shipping and only gave me one shipping option. Poor costumer treatment results in lack of any future business from me. I immediately sent photos and a description of what was missing. Two days later, RMATV responded saying their warranty department will be contacting me. 12 days after that, I received an email with information on how to exchange the item. Missing part/poor customer service - Ordered a Tusk complete super moto wheel set online to have it arrive with one missing seal on the front wheel. On the first call ( a Saturday), I was told that the part would ship the following Monday and they would contact me. I had to call the next few days in a row as they never got back to me when they said they would. It almost seemed like they weren't concerned at all about getting me the part, just how it happened on their end. After almost a week I was able to talk them into getting the part sent to me. I wasted my time calling them multiple times for information (not once did they contact me). All this for a $6 dollar seal for a product that I spent $750 on. I also wasn't able to apply my "RM Cash" balance as the website states. I was logged into my account and it never gives an option to use it during checkout, had to call in for that as well. I called on a monday and they asked us to email photos and would get back to us. I called back Thursday and they asked me to resend the photos. So I did. I called back Friday asking what the status was and they said they would ship out a new one once I ship back the original. I ordered a set of Polaris OEM XL Fender Flares for my RZR. They came timely, but only the right fender was in the box. Check my order to make sure it was a pair and it was. Called and talked to Wyatt at Customer service and told him the problem. He put me on hold and came back and asked me to check the box again and I did, and it still wasn't there. He put me on hold again and asked me the make and model of my Polaris, Put me on hold again and came back and stated they would check to see if their inventory was correct and get back to me. I asked, what difference did it make if they had incorrect or correct inventory. Are you saying if your inventory is correct you won't be sending me the fender that you didn't send me. Are you implying that I'm lying or something. I really couldn't believe it. I told him, he should be apologizing for my inconvenience and and expedite the part to me. They did an investigation and said that we need to file a police report. We filed a police report. They said it needs to be a certified copy? I ordered over $1,000 worth of parts online. Tired my address in and somehow the address reverted back to my old address in another state. Noticed it right after but it was late at night so I emailed them about it. I called the first thing the next morning, which was a Friday. I told him that it somehow reverted back to my old address and I needed it to be changed before it was sent to the wrong place. They charged me for a change of address for all three packages which was $45, so I paid it and knowing that it was just ordered yesterday expected that it would be changed in time. Being as though it went into the weekend instead of ensuring it was done that Friday they just made the change and left without verifying changes had been made. Two of the packages ended up being sent to my old address one was actually changed and sent to my house which was only one part the rest of the parts all went to the wrong address. I called saying that I hadn't received the other ones and they said yes those were changed in time and went to the old address and there's nothing we can do. So now I'm out about $850 in parts in a place I can't get them and they just blew it off as nothing I can do. When I asked to talk to a supervisor I was told they talked to the supervisor and said this is what they're going to say so they don't need to talk to you. With $2,500 in my cart that I was about to spend I am deleting that cart and shopping somewhere else. I am a long time customer of RMATV and have wonderful experience purchasing and at times returning items I did not end up using. This review is based on an experience buying another vendors product from RMATV that was defective and my interaction with RMATV. I purchased an All Balls linkage bearing kit from RMATV for my 05 RM 125. Everything went smoothly until I attempted to insert the spacer into the connecting link. The spacer was too large and would not insert without using a vice or vice type pressure. I reached out to RMATV and initially spoke to Brian in customer service who instructed me on how to contact the warranty dept. and encouraged me to take photos which I did. I received an email two days later from the warranty dept. with RMATV that they had reached out to All Balls and were working on a solution for me. This morning I received a phone call from Brian to inform me that All Balls was sending me a replacement kit for my connecting link. It's this sort of customer service that will keep me returning to RMATV. While you might be able to save a few dollars at times shopping with someone else, you won't find this sort of customer loyalty with many companies. States no shipping fees either way if they are the wrong size and no worry exchanges. They turned out to be a size too small. No problem I'll just contact customer service. Well let's just say both times I talked to customer service it feels more like talking to a part time high school kid that couldn't care less. First they tell me I have to pay for returning them. I ordered an enduro lighting kit from Rocky Mountain which did not work with my motorcycle. I had many issues with the product, but what garnered a negative review was the "customer service". Upon contacting Rocky Mountain, they refused to take back the kit because I had modified the harness after their employees suggested I do so. I spent two hours with a service rep talking circles around the product, suggesting I modify the bike to fit the kit, and finally flat out denying a refund. The kit is advertised as "does not require cutting into or messing with your motorcycle's existing wiring". In order to get the headlight working, according to their support, I would have to either cut into the stock wiring harness or run two additional wires from the battery to the headlight (in addition to the wiring provided in the kit). Either way, I'd also have to cut off the stock connector to the headlight, thus "messing with the existing wiring". By my reasoning, this makes the kit "not as advertised". The "fender" provided was made of thin plastic that was intended to replace a piece of OEM plastic. The OEM part provided hand holds for lifting the rear of the machine. Their fender would not provide this structure. I was told the structure was not necessary, which was surprising to me since KTM put it there. I also found that the On/Off switch included with the kit which is labeled "Engine Stop", does not actually stop the engine. The LED part of the hand-guard turn signals don't fit in their mounts and rattle, slowly damaging them. The rear fender was not wide enough to mount a license plate horizontally (pretty sure that's required for street-legal). The fuse included is a glass-tube style which are notorious for breaking during off road use. The mirrors provide a great view of my shoulders. All said and done, not impressed with the kit. The customer service, however, felt like it was managed by Comcast. Will never buy from Rocky Mountain again. read more

I have bought off of Rocky Mountain ATV several times before, without any issue. This time was the first time I ever had to return something, however. They sent me the wrong battery for my ATV. It had the wrong terminals on it. I spoke with customer service, and they told me it shouldn't be a problem, but that I had to send them some pictures for their warranty tech to review. I did this well over a month ago. I have called them 4 times since, and all I keep getting from them is that it will be several more days before they can look at the info I sent Them. I needed that part for a ride I was doing the weekend after I had ordered it. I ended up having to buy a battery locally, and still have this useless battery that I can't even get a response on.
