Sometimes I get a huge craving for chocolate, and while at the Mall of America with this store right there I subsided to get something. Honestly, it was bad chocolate. Just not good, it tasted like cheap chocolate they got to use on everything since it is a chocolate store and everything is made of it or dipped in it. Bleh. The truffles were the worst, we didn't even finish any of those. The chocolate covered marshmallow I got was decent, but if you mess up a chocolate marshmallow then you REALLY have issues. It was pretty disappointing. I feel that if we would've gotten a caramel apple it would've been a lot better. They had dozens are variations of them, literally 2 windows full and they looked great, seemed like they are more of the main show. But yeah definitely will be going elsewhere next time if I want some sweets. read more

Oh, Rocky Mountain in MOA! They used to have a location in Grapevine Tx that barely made it past 2020 and shut down. Back then they had chocolate covered cherries that was just chocolate and cherry ... none of the filling that comes in a Queen Anne's style chocolate covered cherry. I was so excited to find out there was a Rocky Mountain here, that way I could get my favorite treat. Staff was friendly and helpful! Though, it can be loud in that area, so if someone is soft spoken either customer or employee, it might be tough to hear. wish I had known to ask about the cherries due to the length of time cause I would have gotten an apple instead. I got 4 cherries, 3 Oreos & a truffle. When I got back to the rest of the group I handed out the Oreos & truffle ... which I will say all were good ... then ate a cherry for it to be the Queen Anne style. Noooooooo!!!! Rocky Mountain was the last chain I knew of to do cherries more similar to a chocolate covered strawberry, but now it's the other way. I'll still come by for an apple, strawberry or other treats if nearby, but might not seek them out anymore.! read more

The caramel apple they gave was rotten and tasted like it had been sitting around a while. Gross. When I tried to pick it out of the bag the stick came right out. Waste of 9$ on just that one rotten apple! The caramel bear claw was ok but I expected a better quality. Overall I spent 40$ on garbage. The one star is for the friendly staff. read more

I love these apples or toffee bars (which are gluten free)! I treat myself with one after a bad day or for a celebration. The staff is amazing, friendly, accommodating and if they're out of my favorite apples they will make them fresh and ready for pick up the same day! Even needed to order some last minute for an event and they were willing to stay late to get the order done. The staff always goes above and beyond and is extremely friendly!! Ps they do gift wrapping! Only downside is that they're 12 dollars an apple whether you order 1 apple, 6 apples or 15 apples, it gets quite expensive. They have the nicest workers ever. I was dumb enough to park in the west side entering and when I tried to leave I went out the east side not seeing my car anywhere so I assumed it was stolen or towed. (It was literally just in the other parking lot) So I came back inside freaking out and couldn't find any security guards anywhere because the mall was about to close. So I went up to there store in tears asking if they could help me locate a security guard and they were so accommodating and kind to me. One of the kind workers went to get a security guard while a really nice girl worker calmed me down and asked if I wanted any free chocolate. The other worker came back with a security guard right away who helped me realize my car was exactly where I left it. I can't thank them enough. The kindest most helpful people ever! It was the caramel apples dipped in candy that caught my eye here and brought me to the counter. I love chocolate covered marshmallows and spied them on skewers with large or XL marshmallows in either light or dark chocolate. I chose the dark chocolate large size. My dogs absolutely go crazy for the yogurt vanilla and mint dipped doggy bones at Christmas time. I'm in love with the mint chocolate truffles (orgasm of the mouth) and would probably buy them all the time if they weren't so expensive. Not bad but not great especially considering the high prices. Chocolate pretzels were only thinly coated with chocolate but cost $1.75 each. Chocolate graham crackers were the same price but were much better wih more chocolate. The fudge was pretty average (IMO). read more

I have never seen employees that are more rude and disrespectful than I did after visiting this store. The two women working at this store clearly hate their jobs, and likely human beings in general. After complaining to the store manager about these two women, he in turn was rude and completely disrespectful. Obviously he taught them well. I bought 6 pieces of candy, orange cream in dark chocolate. I didn't open it until I got home because....well, Mall Of America. First piece I bit into wasn't orange cream. I gave one to my fiance...his was orange cream. I bit into another one, it was orange cream, gave another one to my fiance and it wasn't orange cream. Out of the six pieces of chocolate, three were orange cream and three were some unrecognizable flavor, maybe hazelnut? Incidentally, they all looked identical to me. I found an Email address on the bag and shot off a quick letter saying that I was pretty unhappy. Within 15 minutes I got a phone call from the store manager saying that he was going to make things right. And guess what? He did. He was very nice to talk to, very polite, and anxious to do the right thing. Within days I received a box of orange creams in the mail, he sent ten and I'd originally purchased only six, three of which were what I wanted. Maybe it's not a huge deal, but I've never received customer service like this and I just want to say Kudos to the manager of the MOA Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. read more

I purchased two milk chocolate cashew clusters from the store at MOA. They were average sized and cost $5 total. I was very disappointed as they were very bland with only a few nuts in each patty. The chocolate didn't melt, not in my mouth nor my warm car where they sat for two hours. Texture was like plastic, and again, no flavor. read more

Great Shop! They have the most variety of Carmel Apples, truffles, awesome dipped strawberries and many more products. Their gift boxes are great..
