Small, clean and just wonderful. Warmly greeted when we entered (as were all other guests)! Open kitchen. Outdoor seating looks nice but too windy for us. I had the French Toast and my son had the rib eye and eggs. Lots of food. Delicious. So many choices on the menu! Definitely will be back!

Food and service were great. Ingredients were fresh and portions were big. Delicious! Looks small when you enter, but the is more seating in the back.

I came to seaside once a year to get my car serviced. Today, I arrived starving, new normal as a vegetarian. I googled brunch places and found rockys. This place is absolutely adorable. The spot was popping but I was still seated very quickly. The servers were attentive and friendly. And, the eggs Florentino were divine. I liked the extra kick in the potatoes. And, there is some serious people watching of that is your thing

High-quality Californian coastal brunch meets mind-blowing creativity, all thoughtfully nurtured by family-like hospitality. I had the Sweet Pancake with a wholewheat substitution--Jamila's style--topped with homemade fig syrup. I was initially worried it might be overly sweet, but it turned out perfectly balanced. The pancakes were fluffy and mild, allowing the fruits and buttery toppings to shine and beautifully complement each other. I was shocked at how quickly I devoured the whole dish! Mom also loved her breakfast burrito--she even said it was better than our go-to spot in San Diego. The service was top-notch, with some of the nicest, most attentive, and knowledgeable staff we've encountered.

Met the owner and his wife (she was our server that day). This is a small business that I'm happy to support whenever we visit Monterey Bay: hard working and proud of the excellent service they provide. The food is delicious and the staff is welcoming and friendly.

Magnificent breakfast burrito. You should get it with the housemade potatoes. It was so good we came back the next day for brunch on our way out of Monterey!

New Little Cafe on Del Monte Ave, I've Seen The Review as 4.5 Stars So I decided to try it for the first time. Nice Old place needs a total Upgrade. Revamp. I ordered the Chicken Fried steak, a Special. The Portion of Steak Was Good. Portion of Hash Browns and Egg was tiny. It was ok. I should've asked for crispy hash browns. They looked Oily and Unappetizing tho I ate Them The Eggs I Asked Srambled Well Came scrammbled easy? But the Portion Was small. For $26.00, I won't order again. I Know They Just Opened. 10/28/25 I just Noticed My Photo Food Looks better than Actual Dish

Back again, this time for lunch... Jo and I both had a starter as main ... Mussels with Chorizo and garlic bread.... Really tasty... Have to be real and say there was a disparity in sizes of portions between the two servings of which I lost out big time but it tasted great, lovely balance and for a light lunch this was on point !...

The coffee is FANTASTIC. The breakfast burritos were fresh and delicious. The pancake is a MUST try. The servers were lovely, and the succulents at the outdoor seating area made it a unique experience.

Little bit of a wait time. Super friendly staff and vibes. I ordered the scooby combo with pancakes, eggs, sausage , and potatoes. Everything was delicious. The coffee was also amazing and was continuously refilled piping hot. Will def come back.

Do they have any gluten-free pancakes waffles or French toast?

Hello! We can substitute our French Toast bread for a gluten free option; we do have whole wheat pancakes but no substitution for the waffle.

I got the Pork Belly Fried Rice and it was amazing. The pork belly was tender and came with a sour vinegar sauce that paired perfectly with it. Ask for extra sauce. My wife got the Lemon Curd Pancakes and we shared Marciana's Breakfast Fried Rice. Both were excellent. The lumpia was a little greasy, but still tasty. My daughter got the pancakes and immediately gave them a thumbs up. By the end of breakfast, both my wife and daughter were giving me kudos for picking the spot. Doesn't happen often, so I'll take the win. Great food, great service, and the perfect way to end our trip before the drive home. We'll definitely be back.

Parking was easy too, either inside the plaza or street parking.

Our server was amazing--very attentive and friendly, especially considering there were only two servers working that night. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, with about 10-12 tables filled (roughly half the restaurant). There were also four people working in the open chef's kitchen area. When we asked which one was the head chef, we were told he had taken the day off since it wasn't very busy. We ordered the milk bread, beet salad, wagyu, chicken, and swordfish. The milk bread was slightly burnt on the bottom, but the inside was soft and pleasant. The beet salad, however, was incredible--beautifully presented and every bite was delicious. It was definitely one of the highlights of the meal. For the entrées, the swordfish was the clear winner, followed by the chicken. The wagyu, unfortunately, was disappointing. We asked and were recommended medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium well. It ended up being chewy and tough, which was surprising given the quality you would expect. To their credit, they did offer us a complimentary tiramisu. It was a very generous portion and the friend who was able to eat it said it was quite good, though only one person in our group could enjoy it due to dietary restrictions. Overall, the ambience was nice and the service was wonderful, but for a Michelin-rated restaurant I would expect more consistency--even on a night when the head chef isn't present. I'm not sure if I would return, but I did truly appreciate the great service and welcoming atmosphere.
