The avocado toast was ok, but I would ask to not have balsamic on it if I ever order it again. I prefer to taste the avocado. It was nice and quiet here, though, and an excellent place to be able to chat with friends or study.

I stopped in after a workout to kill time before an appointment. I sat at the bar because that's generally where the quickest service is at every other diner. I got up after several minutes of being avoided (apparently I was wearing my "invisible suit") and poured my own coffee (which again is common in small "homey" diners) When I finally caught the eye of a gal behind the counter I could tell she was stink faced about my having to get my own coffee. I ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs easy and cowboy potatoes. I sat, and sat, and sat waiting and watching people come and go, come and go. I finally noticed a plate sitting in the service window which had been there quite a while. When I asked if that was mine the 30ish yr old brunette (whom I later found out was part owner) took it out of the window and served it. It was cold of course. I asked for it to be nuked. She wouldn't do it but decided to remake it. By this time I've been in the café for 45 minutes and still waiting. I'm a country boy, farm raised and have YEARS of experience working restaurants. I make some of the best biscuits and gravy and potatoes as any chef. I tell you what I don't do. I don't take another 30 minutes to cook eggs and crisp up some "already prepped" taters. I called the young snotty BIOCH over and asked what was taking so long to cook eggs. At that point she said "That's IT!, you can just leave! I own this joint and I'm telling you to leave." Here's a four-star review. I recently visited the Rodeo Cafe in Clovis and had a wonderful time! Their breakfast sausage patties were absolutely delicious, and I couldn't get enough of them. On top of that, they have the cleanest restrooms in the entire Clovis/Fresno area, which is a huge plus. Not only is it a great spot for breakfast, but their hamburgers are also top-notch. The Rodeo Cafe truly captures the essence of a classic old-style cafe, which adds to its charm. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The service at the Rodeo Cafe was fairly attentive, especially considering how busy they were at the time of my visit. The staff seemed genuinely friendly and eager to make my dining experience enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend the Rodeo Cafe for a satisfying meal and a taste of nostalgia. My friend and I stopped in for lunch around 11:30AM recently. We waited 15 min before someone even acknowledged us. The service is not friendly at all! It looks like only their frequent favorites get better treatment. An older couple at a nearby table got tired of waiting and decided to leave. When our (rude) waitress finally decided to come to our table, I mentioned that the older folks at the table left because of the slow service. The waitress simply replied, " Well, too bad!" I have been a resident of Clovis for 39 years, and I will NEVER return to this place again. I am totally embarrassed we have a business like this in our community. Do not eat here. While searching online for a local breakfast spot for my family and I to enjoy this holiday season I stumbled across this dump. Seriously who would want to eat at this restaurant with all these horrible reviews of their atrocious service and blatant advertisements on politics. The owners / management seem to continue and embrace their political and racist stance and alienate customers? Since just before the Pendemic, this place has gone DOWN HILL Fast! The service has become absolutely TERRIBLE! Rude waitresses. Quality of food and portions have also gotten bad. A 16oz cup of iced tea is over $4???? That is outrageous! One "1" cinnamon role is $8. Recommendaton: DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Horrible service waited forever to get our drinks and they never asked if we wanted refills. My I'll grandmother was dying of thirst and we had to ask multiple times for just water. Food came out cold and now my grandmother is in the hospital with food poisoning. This place is an absolute disgrace to our community. I will be calling the health & food inspectors to do a full quality assessment on how the food is prepared. 0/10 rating for me. read more
