Stopped by on a Saturday morning after visiting the farmers market with my family. Tables were clean and the highchair was also clean which I really appreciate. Huge emphasis on the really appreciate. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food came out hot and delicious. You can tell it's fresh. I got the chicken fried steak with over-medium eggs, hash browns, and the English muffin. The English muffin was even so good. I will be returning. The staff is friendly and efficient. My favorite dish is no longer on the menu, but they said they could accommodate what I would want to eat. My new favorite breakfast spot in Clovis! We sat outside with our dog and had a lovely meal getting some sun and watching things go down in the streets. We were here on a Saturday when there's a farmer's market going on so it was pretty busy. We ordered a coffee, orange juice, the tenderfoot #2, and steak & eggs. The coffee had free refills during our meal and our kind waiter even brought us fresh coffee to go when we asked for a cup. The tenderfoot had a little bit of everything, which I wanted. It tasted so good and homey, and the small pancakes were larger than I expected. I finished my plate! The steak and eggs wasnt finished and needed a to go box. 2nd time here. I love the small town coffee shop vibe. Old school counter seating and a "sit where you like" welcome makes this place homey and classic. 7/19/25 Time for an update! Getting breakfast for tomorrow! Called, placed on hold. They were busy. Egg white ham & veggie omelet ordered with country potatoes & pancakes instead of toast/:biscuit for an up-charge. Sugar free syrup and salsa ordered with it. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived to pick it up. Music playing. Great, country feel with booths, tables & chairs and bar seating. Clean & safe. Great experience. My fiancée came on a Saturday around 9am. All the tables and booths were taken, so we opted to eat at the counter-- no biggie. Luckily we came when we did, because there seemed to be a rush of people after us.. We were immediately seated, and received our coffees quite quickly. My server was excellent, he ensured my coffee was always full and frequently rounded on us to make sure all our needs were met. My fiancée and I shared The Denver omelette and substituted for French toast for an additional fee-- and that was such a fantastic idea. The Denver consisted of Ham, Bell Peppers, Onions, and American Cheese-- and it was tasty! The ham pieces were big, the onions had a nice bite to it. The home fries, as pictured were delicious and crispy. The French toast came with 2 toasts, with buttery crispy golden edges.. the dallop of butter on top is a chefs kiss. So so good! read more

Went there for the first time Tuesday., it is a clean place, one of the girls was under the table cleaning all around and even the wall. The food was so so, nothing to write home about. i ordered scramble eggs and diced ham. hash browns and a biscuit and gravy., $13.99 on the menu, when I got the bill it was $14. 49. The other 2 guys that were with me had the same thing happen with the food they ordered. The menu price is NOT the price you pay. I asked about it and I was told by the waiter, I just ring it up and that is the price, I told him to get new menus or put a disclaimer on each table about the price. Coffee was over $4.00 also. A friend i talked to that went there a while back said he had the same issue, different prices on the menu as what you actually pay. the amount is not a big deal but it is the principial. The girl asking what we wanted to drink was great, but we waited atleast 10 minutes to get asked what we wanted to order by then we were already getting up leaving.I can't tolerate when waitress bullshit while patrons wait. Zipped into the rodeo just after church on Sunday for a brunch experience. You can always count on the down-home atmosphere and friendly service here! We decided to wait for a booth and it only took about 10 minutes. We must've timed it just right as usually this place is packed on a weekend. My companion ordered the enchilada omelette. It was huge as they use I think three eggs to make their omelettes and it was slathered with the red sauce, loaded with cheese and ground beef. Scrumptious! He devoured the entire thing. Instead of potatoes for his side, he was able to order a side of grits, being from the south he was having a hankering. They brought a big bowl of grits topped with cheese which he had requested. He said that they were delicious and he should know. I ordered the Denver omelette and as always it is delicious. It is just packed with onions and bell peppers and diced up cubes of ham. Although it comes with American cheese you are able to change and request Swiss cheese or cheddar cheese. So that was nice to have it personalized. We both had English muffins for our bread side and they were toasted and buttered to perfection. As always the coffee is great they keep the refills coming, and I had orange juice, tasty and fine. Went back here and the food was great again with good portions. Server was very friendly and on top of everything. The only reason I am knocking off a star is they have a bunch of MAGA stuff prominently displayed. I don't have a problem with people having their own political views, but it seems a little obnoxious to have it out like that at a restaurant. I just want some good food, not to think about politics or have it shoved in my face. It also makes me embarrassed to recommend this place to friends. Arrived around 8:15 to meet up with a friend for breakfast. Was expecting the restaurant to be packed out as there's Big Hat Day's starting at 9:00. Well by 8:45 they were packed out. Our server Amber came over promptly and took our drink orders and brought them out right away. Our food was cooked to perfection (thanks chef) served nice & warm. I'm a Biscuits & Gravy snob, these were very tasty & would get them again. Rodeo Coffee Shop has been in Clovis for around 34 years serving the local farmers & families. Disappointed. Food was decent but biscuits were burnt and therefore tough. Water tasted like feet and servers were WAY more concerned with chatting with regulars than providing real service. Unfortunately this was thier second and last strike for us. The last time thier cottage cheese was rancid and the server argued with us about it and still charged us too. I'm done. read more

Hubby, his mom and I stopped in for brunch today. Happily we were able to be seated promptly and our coffee order was quick to arrive. Hubby and his mom had breakfast: French toast, scrambled eggs. bacon, hash browns and toast between the two of them. Eggs were tasty and an interesting orange color. Bacon very nicely cooked, as were hash browns (but they lacked adequate seasoning, like salt). There are two types of dip for French toast: cinnamon or regular. Mom reported cinnamon was tasty but a bit sweet for her tastes. I had chili, which appeared homemade. It was thick and not spicy hot, which I appreciated. It could have stood more seasoning, but was OK overall. Everything (including restrooms) was very clean and orderly. Service friendly and efficient. Prices were generally high, I thought for breakfast, but there are also several reasonably priced options for those with lighter appetites or who wish to spend a bit less. Previous reviewers noted an excessive amount and potentially offensive political signage and clothing. Nothing like that was visible today. The slogan "Make Breakfast Great Again" was the only political hint I saw, and I don't consider that out of line. read more
