Burger was great. It was filling and delicious. I thought the burger was going to be messy, but it held up well. The large side of fries was enough for 3-4 people. The chili was pretty good too, but too much for me when combined with a burger. Service was fast and polite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went during the World Cup and the TVs were all displaying the game. It's loud inside so it's great for watching a game or bringing kids.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
Pretty extensive menu with some pretty interesting looking burgers!! I got the Hot Bastard and sweet potato fries. I just got the burger as it came, it seemed like it would be good as is. And it was! Had a spicy kick as you'd expect. It was very busy when I was there so there was a bit of a wait for orders to be taken and for the food to come out however, again, it was pretty packed so I'm not gonna begrudge anyone some delays when things are busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat outside as it was a nice evening albeit slightly chilly and I didn't have a sweatshirt or jacket but that's my own fault.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd definitely go again but I would also definitely get something other than the Hot Bastard - not because there was anything wrong with the Hot Bastard it's just the are so many good looking burgers on the menu I want to diversify!!!
Always love coming to rodeo goat! Super casual spot in the design district with a variety of burgers. The cheese fries are also a major hit (make sure to try their ranch)! I tried the burger of the month (dad bod) it was good but not as great as the my usual. The service is always great and the servers are very friendly.
Great burger spot with Texas beers on draft. We had an our first meal here. The queso and chips were delicious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some cold beers. Loved the selection and the draft of the day is $4. Can't beat that. Service was friendly. For our burgers my husband got the dcc burger and added bacon. He liked it but nothing to write home about. I had the blue jeans burger minus the jalapeños--it still had a kick to it very minor it was very blue cheesyyy and messy to eat. And very filling. I loved the sweet potato fries. Stopped in with friends while in town because they wanted a burger. I got the bodacious burger with a side of fries and it was so good. Juicy burger with the right amount of toppings and bbq sauce. Service was quick even in the middle of the World Cup. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wasn't too loud inside and it's open seating so you don't have to wait to be sat which is also nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
This place is chill, drinks are delicious , food is great and good prices! Came here several times while in town. The servers are all really nice too. Everything my group tried was great. A good place to catch a game or hang with friends.
Nut allergy friendly: I had no issues here! Arrived around 7:20 PM on a Thursday night and it was packed! They seemed to have a good amount of parking but thankfully it was walking distance away from my hotel. Order-to-Entree: 17 Minutes I easily found a table for two and there's ample indoor and outdoor seating. We got our beers pretty quickly, and our main courses came decently quickly as well. The burger was juicy and the sweet potato fries were solid. They've got an amazing diverse burger menu and I can see why it's a local favorite. Would definitely come back again.
Rodeo Goat is easily my go to burger place in DFW. I'm not even a huge burger person, but whenever I'm actually craving one this is always where I end up. I've been to several of their locations and every single one has been consistently great. The burger names sometimes change depending on the location even though they're the same burgers, so keep that in mind. I usually like trying the burger of the month competition, but the whiskey burger is always a safe choice and it's amazing every time. The cheese fries are just as good and never disappoint. The decor is really fun and the atmosphere is always lively with a good crowd, and the service has always been excellent. It's one of those places that just feels reliable no matter which location you visit.
We were staying nearby for the Lights All Night festival at Dallas Market Hall, so this place was convenient to stop by walking distance. Seating is of your choosing with long tables and movable barriers to adjust your party size accordingly, and a server will help you out. It's cool they make it like a farm as there is a whole other section of seating called the pen, which is kid friendly. We got the Rip Wheeler special burger which has coffee rubbed beef patty, black pepper bacon, Dr Pepper BBQ, and smoked gouda. We don't really see these types of specialty burgers in other burger spots we tried, while the familiar truffle burger, etc on the menu were more common. The burger ended up being fantastic and bursting with flavor, with a bit of a caveat that it's on the saltier side. We also got the cheese fries with surprise which has a boat load of fries and brisket and chili, and it comes with sides of ranch and ketchup. It was super filling and large, and while the menu said $13.99, we got a fantastic surprise that we only got charged $6.99. For drinks, we got a cider which was filled to the brim (I'd say 24oz?) for $6 which is an insane deal. A pint in our city of residence usually runs $8-10. But I guess when in Texas, everything is huge! For the 2 of us, we shared just 1 burger and 1 cheese fries with surprise and we still had a small amount of leftovers! Value wise it was great because the burgers are about $11-14 before tax, with affordable sides, desserts, and drinks. Service was decently attentive despite it being super busy so I give them props for that. There are periods with brief waits but it's understandable based on the staffing to customer ratio in a busier than usual lunch service.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]Oh, my! What a fun and delicious treat this place is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with wine, beer and dessert (hey, life is uncertain so we ate dessert first). If you love brie cheese, these are a must have. Goat balls are fried brie cheese with blueberry compote...so yummy We both had turkey burgers which were moist, well seasoned and the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this already super popular spot!
This place is HUGE indoor and cool outdoor spacing it must be a nightly party but we went mid day during the week during the calm. I've been to the Fort Worth location and yes, this is a solid burger. Even my picky eater kiddo ate the kid sliders to my absolute delight! The fries were a miss although they look great, they tasted kind of meaty, like maybe cooked in/ with meat juice. We couldn't eat them so that was a waste of food and money but the burger stands strong alone. Our server was great, and I like they don't make you feel rushed to get in and out. Worth a stop when seeking a burger and beer.
To be honest...I just thought it was going to be better. We had super high expectations because of reviews we had received from friends but the food was just kind of average. I ordered the Billy F Gibbons and it was okay but there were several issues. First, the burgers are much smaller than they look online so they threw us off a little. Second, the bun on my burger was extremely dry. I asked several others in my party if there was as well and they said yeah it kind of seemed that way. Also, when I was looking for the cream cheese and mango pico, it was very sparse. Probably about a teaspoon of cream cheese and about the same amount of mango. Just not what we were expecting. Everyone said their food was "okay" but nothing to write home about. I will say, our server was very nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant had a good "hang out" vibe to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oh and the fries were pretty good. Maybe we can try again and cross our fingers for a better burger.
Visited this Rodeo Goat before a concert at Silo. Pretty busy on a Friday night here but still amazing service. Ordered a ranch water it was great. I like they offer burger bowls here!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot to meet with a group at![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What a great experience we had last night. Beautiful weather, great friends and delicious food and atmosphere. I went with the Mothers Blues burger cooked perfectly. So juicy and the condiments were perfectly spread out and even though out the whole burger. I also ordered the onion rings which I normally don't and they were airy and crispy delicious. They have a location that opened just north of us that the wife and I will definitely try. The outdoor space is fantastic on a beautiful night. read more
I just wanted to say Dani was great with the customer service! I brought in my friend for the first time and she was wowed by the savoring burgers! Trust and believe me when I say they have delicious burgers the people next to me were also raving on about how great their burgers were as well! One of my favorite features about Rodeo Goat is the Burger challenge which changes every month if I am not mistaken. I'm honestly losing track of all that I've gotten because I go so often but I will say that "Truffle Shuffle " was to cry for If you're ever in the mood for a good burger and wanna catch a game or hang out with some friends and play some bar games. What an interesting place! The location is almost hidden, you wouldn't be able to spot it but man when you step in you are transported into such a cool spot. And their outside patio is AMAZING! In such a great location, central to Dallas, facing the Katy Trail (which will soon be able to be reached by a bridge under construction) it is such a cool spot to grab lunch when in the city! And that's exactly what we did! We had the "Cheese Fries Surprise" which were brisket cheese fries. As well as the Royale with Cheese burger and Bodacious burger. Everything was very good and definitely am going to be back for some drinks and dessert!! Oh and can't forget service was amazing! Seen and serviced swiftly and kindly!! read more

Ok so I wanted a low key dive bar/pub. Reviews were all over the place and I said let's roll the dice!! I won!! Wow, place was pretty busy, i bellied up to the bar, bartender friendly, personable and hope I have the pleasure of visiting again if she's working! I ordered the Carolina Bastard which came with a disclaimer, this shit is spicy. I laughed and made a comment about the Carolina reapers and of course it's hot. She said she has to verify with people cause they bitch Irs too hot and they can't eat it. This burger was amazing, hot with flavor. The fries ong, I had a half order and had to tap out. This place is amazing!!! Great tasting burger and very flavorful. My bartender was very attentive and had a good recommendation of getting the burger with the habanero sauce on the side. I ordered the Billy F Gibbons burger with hand punched fries and both were amazing. I called off the night with a fresh draft beer (Saint Arnold) which is a local summer Pilsner which was great as well. I would definitely recommend this place for a great burger with a good selection of local draft beers. I ended up sitting at the bar since I was on a business trip and I noticed their bourbon selection. They also have Blantons available which pleasantly surprised me. read more

This place looks like a small hole in the wall, hardly any windows in the front. Once you step inside you see all that open space and windows are in the back. Food was OUTSTANDING!!!!! Hot fresh and very tasty... Service was fast and very knowledgeable, many people came by and checked on our table. My only downside was when the server was talking to us about a beverage selection the manger came to her and let her know that other tables need a water and something else... I wounder why he could not have grabbed that stuff for her as she was taking care of us/ guests and then he just walked off.. read more

I am staying at the Hilton Anatole and this place is within an easy walking distance. I am so glad we came. We had about 20 people in our group and we were a little too happy to be out of the hotel and the staff navigated our group really well. The food was great (Nanny Goat!) and the margaritas hit the spot! read more

Ours had mashed potatoes and bacon- super yum! Loved it! It was hard to choose between cow patty and goat balls- pumpkin in season! Cow patty was AMAZING with a touch of cinnamon! This is a great spot! I was attending a conference at the Hilton Anatole 5 minutes down the street and looking for a quick lunch. People rave about their burgers but I had their avocado caesar twice in one week! It's so good and great for avocado lovers. I always order the dressing on the side so I can control how much I want on my greens. The pumpernickel croutons and capers are such a nice touch. I added chicken to the salad once and was surprised to learn that it is in fact a chicken patty and not grilled chicken which would've been nice. The servers were happy and sweet. The first napkin I received had a mark on it so I asked and it was promptly replaced by napkins in a cup. I ate alone both times and honestly, it was fine because there was so much to look around at on the walls and such. It's also a great place to people watch lol. read more

Came here from the airport after a long flight and starving. Got sat down immediately. We ordered steaming pile, Mother blues, Bad Hombre,Mike Rawlings, Dad Bod, some sweet potato fries and onion rings along with some community Texas lager. I had the Mother Blues, I loved it --well I love bleu cheese to begin with so I was pretty sure I will like it. It didn't disappoint. My companions loved their burgers: the Mike Rawlings, Bad Hombre and the Dad Bod. Potato fries were well seasoned and nicely cut, no scraps. The steaming pile was different for me as I'm not used to having a sunny side up/over easy egg on top of my tater tots. Burgers are sized enough for one to be full. Ambience was ok, a typical Texas burger joint with a roadhouse ambience. It's in a not so attractive building but I guess it serves the purpose. Server was attentive but felt like she was just getting our orders as opposed to being open and offering suggestions and recommendations. Overall very satisfying; will probably be back again. read more

Why 4 stars? Because if you like burgers, you like Rodeo Goat. --- --- --- We came up to Dallas a few weeks prior and were all set to hit up Rodeo Goat as soon as we got into town. But then I happened to look on their website and see that they had a Houston location. That prompted us to pick somewhere else that was only in Dallas. But recently, we had another unplanned trip to Dallas and couldn't find anything else that looked more appealing than Rodeo Goat, so we decided to complete our unfinished business and stop in. My heart was broken to learn that they recently took the RIP Mr Wheeler burger off the menu, which is what I had my eye on. I settled for a Brad Sham, which was solid. Not amazing, but it hit the spot. We also enjoyed the chips and queso for an appetizer. If you're in search of a good burger, this is the spot for you. They have a long list of options to choose from, so there will probably be several appealing options to choose from for anyone that's not a super picky eater. read more

Fun and spacious patio. Chill vibe with plenty of TV screens inside. Excellent selection of craft beers. Good nibbles of goat chips. Crazy combinations of burgers with their house-ground meat and brioche buns. With RG's "Sugar Burger" being my go-to recently; perfect when there's enough arugula and spread of jalapeño jam in contrast with the candied bacon, grilled peaches, and, caramelized onions. Very crowded on weekends. Great service with acceptable bit of wait for orders to arrive at table. CHEERS! read more

Starters: Texas Caviar - I could just eat this by the spoonful for every meal, and as a meal! It was sweet, hearty, savory, and not enough! The chips were a perfect thickness and were great as a vessel for the caviar, and great alone Onion Rings - these aren't on the menu, and if they were, they'd never have any onions for the burgers. The onions are sliced thick and fresh and battered in the lightest, crispiest tempura batter that is seasoned to perfection. Comes with a side of ranch, but the onion rings are perfect alone! Over a week later, we're still talking about how good these were! Burgers: Billy F Gibbons - savory, sweet and spicy, all of the most amazing flavors D.C.C Burger - one of the most basic burgers to order, but it was one of the most flavorful Dessert: Goat Balls - the menu said bavarian cream, but they were filled with brie. You can imagine the tastebud's confusion... These were just ok because of that alone. Great place, lots to look at as you take in the delicious food. Staff are very friendly, and the place is high energy. Hightop tables with dividers so even though you are sitting next to someone, you dont feel like you need to talk to them. If by "ya'll" you mean me at my house - then NO on grill day we only offer 100% gluten included hamburger buns.

No more than $100...and after that threshold is reached. The remaining tips are given to the Owner. They call it the Amy's Baking Company Model...enjoy~!
