We had lunch here on a Monday afternoon and sat outside on the patio. I thought the swings for benches was a neat idea and the view of the lake is incredible. We ordered the sweet potato fries and they came out hot and delicious. The ranch dressing was excellent as well. I ordered the Levi's Blue Jean Burger and it was pretty decent but the blue cheese wasn't the best, and the burger could've tasted meatier for a double patty burger. Overall we had an amazing experience and our waitress Gianna was excellent and provided amazing quick service. I would recommend Rodeo Goat out of all the restaurants here at the harbor if you're coming to enjoy the scenery and good food.

This location is great one to visit. The patio has a great waterfront view. There was a little bit of a wait, but well worth it. Cheese fries were delicious. Service was fast and our waitress checked up on us a lot. Drinks were good! I would definitely go back.

We were visiting Rockwall and decided to give Rodeo Goat a shot for dinner. This spot definitely leans into its casual, lively Texas charm. It has a fun, loud, and bustling atmosphere with a gorgeous view of Lake Ray Hubbard. I can imagine the patio being a prime hangout in the cooler months, especially with that waterfront breeze. The restaurant operates on a seat-yourself system, which sounds simple enough, until it isn't. On our Wednesday evening visit, the place was packed, and it took a bit too long for servers to notice new tables and get menus out. We also noticed a bit of a lag in getting tables wiped down and flipped for waiting guests. There are a few TVs scattered around for the sports fans, which adds to the upbeat, casual vibe. Now, let's talk food--burgers are clearly the star here, and they do them well. My husband ordered the BILLY F GIBBONS (formerly the Bad Hombre), which came stacked with candied bacon, caramelized onions, gouda, mango pico, cream cheese, and trailboss sauce. He noted the mango pico had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and surprisingly the gluten-free bun actually tasted good (a rare feat for anyone GF). I went with the RAY HUBBARD, topped with white cheddar, candied bacon, blackberry compote, and bourbon mustard. The patty was juicy, the bun soft, and while the combo sounded like magic, the bourbon mustard really overpowered the dish. I was hoping for more from the blackberry compote. It was barely there, which was disappointing because it could've added a great balance to the richness. We split an order of sweet potato fries, which were crispy and well-seasoned. Also, bonus points: they don't skimp on the ice in their tea, which is the kind of little detail I absolutely notice and appreciate in Texas heat. A quick note for my fellow gluten-free diners: they do offer GF buns, even though it's not noted on the menu. Just be cautious if you have a true allergy because fried sides share a fryer, so cross-contamination is a risk. Overall, this was a satisfying stop with flavorful burgers, a high-energy vibe, and fair prices. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to hit another Rodeo Goat location, but this visit left us full and happy.

It was a cold day and we were celebrating a birthday. The seating was a bit cramped, but we did fine and in a way it made it easier to talk to each other. Our server was friendly but getting our drinks was a bit slow. Once I got my rattle snake I was quite pleased. The food is always top notch, never an issue. I always get the battle of the burger because it's so fun to try a new burger. Their goat chips are my absolute favorite and I wish those were bottomless. Their ranch is always a must regardless of what you get.

We were down in this area to visit family and my niece and her husband brought us here to eat. What a great menu and awesome selection of specials burgers. We had Texas Caviar as our app and I had the build your own burger and everyone else had the Ripp Wheeler burger. We all had the hand cut fries as well as separate order of sweet potato fries. Our server was great and made sure our food came out great. My burger was cooked just right. Next time we're here to visit family we will come back .

Came with some friends for my first time and had a great experience. I ordered the Bodacious burger and it was delicious. The bbq sauce was sweet with a hint of spice from the jalapeños paired well together with the crunch from the onions. I ordered mine with 2 patty and it was so delicious I ordered it twice. The service was quick and the staff is very friendly. I look forward to going back. Great ambiance outside by the water.

I haven't had a bad burger( ie anything less than delectable) at any Rodeo Goat. Go! Furthermore, extensive menu of burgers from basic straight up world class cheeseburger to everything but the kitchen sink. Fries onion rings,in house tots,potato chips,salads etc. Really exceptional

Damian is the BOMB!! His suggestions were on point! I enjoyed my drink (rattlesnake) better get one while you're here!! The loaded cheese fries were absolutely delicious. Always clean. Service attentive. The BL-TX whisky drink always amazing. Tried the Cow Patty ( chocolate & pecan TX sheet cake, served warm with vanilla ice cream) for the first time. The cake was very moist on its own and the pecans and ice cream on top were perfect. VERY SADLY had to take off a star for the dry overcooked Nanny Goat burger. That being said it is the first and only time in many many times that I have been to multiple locations that this is ever happened. I would typically give the nanny goat a good 13 out of 10 but today's sadly it became a six and a half to seven out of 10. Everything about the rest of the visit was absolutely wonderful. I would still absolutely recommend this restaurant and this location.

Came back last night (7/11) to pick up and online order. Ordered two burgers and the online order said it would be ready by 9:15. Got there about 9:17 and bartender said they were probably wrapping things up. 20 min later still nothing. After another 5 min we asked the bartender if he could check on it as it seems like it was taking some time. He said he would check in just a few and about 5 min later our food was ready. The burgers were delicious but it while we waited for our online order people sat down and had their food before our online order was ready. read more

For a busy Thursday with an outside concert, we were greeted wonderfully by the wait staff and got in pretty quickly! Well-run, efficient way of running the business. Everyone there seemed genuinely happy to work there! Food was GREAT and filling! More restaurants need to be as great as this one! read more

Every time I go here I'm very pleased. I've had just about every appetizer on the menu! Every one is great! The burnt ends were on Special the other night..... man oh man those were GREAT! The manager "Beau" was all over the place. Helping out waitresses refilling drinks, delivering food, making sure everyone was happy. Absolutely love this place! If your in Rockwall and you want a great environment with some great food and people - hit this place up! read more

So really cool place, kinda loud inside so be aware. They have long tables that you share with strangers. I think there were booths further back. You can seat yourself when not busy. Drinks were spot on. Had the Fries with surprise which was chili on top. Would like to have had the Chili a little juicier or put queso cheese on instead of shredded. Was kinda dry. Large portion 3 of us ate on this and there was still some left. We all had burgers each was loaded with flavor. Bun super soft and yummy. Hamburgers are not large but perfect size. Husband would have liked his hamburger meat flattened out a little to cover the whole bun. Lots of parking. Waiter was super friendly. Got there before it got super busy, so enjoyed our time out. read more

First time guests and...holy cow....horrible horrible service, food was just meh, drinks took forever. Our server clearly has never served before. Had to ask for our drinks twice and they still came out not properly made. Queso is cheaply prepared, cheese fries look and taste burnt. More salt on the fries than in the ocean. We WILL NOT be coming back. Wow. read more

Something has changed here for the better. We usually like this place ok and really go for the beer and patio, but today the food was SO GOOD. I had the Royale with Cheese and opted for the Impossible patty. It was the best seasoned Impossible patty I've ever had. The fries were amazing as well. My only complaint is that I ended up stuffed because everything was so tasty. Nice job, guys. read more

Our family came for a late dinner and enjoyed our time and food. The music was loud and the service was good. Lots of beer on tap to try! We had the Telluride and Sugar burgers, both were good! Food is great, 5/5 for sure, service was great as well.... but it felt more like we were walking into a school cafeteria than a fun place to eat and hang out. Very industrial feel. We arrived at 10:30 on Saturday night.... still very very bright and no background music to help mask the conversations. We sat at the end of the bar closest to the door and could easily listen in on the conversations at the far end. Very good selection of tap and bottled craft. The cheese fries with surprise app is a meal by itself. Def a welcome addition to The Harbor, just dim the lights and turn up the hang out feel. read more

I recently moved to Rockwall Texas and the friends I am staying with took me to rodeo goat. The drinks were not good at all but I have to say the manager was amazing and took them off the bill. He went around to every table and asked customers about their experience which to me speaks volumes. So the reason for three stars is there food was spectacular. And the service was wonderful. They just need to train their bartender. read more

This was our first time there. The meat is ground hourly which makes the burgers probably the best I've had here in Rockwall. I had the sweet goat fries which are actually BBQ potato chips. My husband had the fries. Both very good. Weekends like today, mimosas were $2. We ate inside and outside some of the tables have porch swings for seating. Prices are perfect for the quality of food you get. My only negative and is a small negative. I ordered the pecan pie for dessert and it was dough wrapped around pecan pie dough. For me too much dough and not enough filling. Staff was very friendly and service was great. Highly recommend read more

Wow...as if the food wasn't enough to keep me coming back I just had the best service ever. Trinity was so on top of everything. She helped me pick out my burger and even suggested an egg on top...winner! I'm hoping her happy mood is from eating here cause I would like to be that happy. This was our first time trying Rodeo Goat. We went at a pretty busy time- Saturday night, 6:00. The place was crowded and there wasn't much room to stand around. We decided to go to the bar to get some drinks while we waited. The bartender was extremely unfriendly and couldn't name one beer she recommended when we asked for suggestions. When we asked for her recommendation on their draft selection she actually said she didn't have one. After we got seated the service was much better and the food came out pretty quick for how busy it was. We ordered the cheese fries surprise and two burgers; the Royale with cheese and the Hot Bastard. Cheese fries were great, huge amount. Both burgers were awesome. Our waitress was more knowledgeable about the beer selection than the bartender was and we liked our beers. Will definitely be back. read more

Chill, mellow spot with great drinks on the harbor that does EXCEPTIONALLY well with COVID restriction-appropriate spacing. The STEAMING PILE is my favorite - a gross name, sure, but rich, crispy, & delicious. The burgers pack a LOT of flavors into average-sized patty, and are pretty tasty too. So far, I've enjoyed the Ray Hubbard, the Bad Hombre & of course - the Steaming Pile (seriously thank goodness it was recommended, I never would have tried it with that name). Speaking of something gross - about me, maybe TMI - The Chaca Oaxaca burger is tasty, but the chorizo on it overwhelmed my taste buds AND my body. I like chorizo, but this was too much of a good thing for me. So... you're welcome for that info, hope thats helpful. Atmosphere, bartender, & waitstaff are all delightful & seem to like being there too. My ONLY guff is the prices, because a burger, tots, and drinks will set you back over $30. The food is exotic burgers, and none of the portions warrant QUITE that price tag IMHO. Not grossly overpriced, tho. My next visits will be during happy hour:) read more

It's never felt like a place that values new faces or fresh energy, and that's a missed opportunity. As for karaoke nights, it's no secret there's an inner circle. If you're not part of it, good luck. Despite signing up early and showing up ready to contribute to the night, I've consistently been pushed back or overlooked. It's hard to ignore when the same familiar faces keep rotating through while others wait endlessly. The karaoke host (yes, you know who you are) makes it clear who's in and who's out. If you're confident, talented, or don't "fit the clique," don't expect fair treatment. Some people protect their spotlight at the expense of others -- and that's exactly what happens here. It's unfortunate, because karaoke should be about building a vibe, not gatekeeping one. It's no wonder the place was dead last Saturday. Places that don't grow community eventually lose it. I'm speaking up not out of hate, but because I believe people deserve to know the truth -- and Rockwall deserves better than what this spot currently offers.

Next thing they did, was to comfort me, and give me medical treatment. I mean it was only a few scratches. My forearm was bleeding. Of course. I was bleeding all over the parking lot. But they didn't care, they took care of me when I need them. They opened their bathroom, and they gave me sufficient medical care to get home. I've never been in Dudley's bar before. But I give them a AAA reading on there staff, and need to be helpful. It seemed like a bunch of off duty. Paramedics took care me. I very much appreciate their time and their care.

It's rare to find people who are consistently that kind and genuine Josh is great too dry humor always himself, and if you know Josh you know exactly what I mean Even when they aren't there, the other bartenders are still awesome. Mike is great too and always takes care of people. The whole staff just feels comfortable around each other and it makes the place feel really welcoming instead of awkward or forced. Also Gabe, the owner, is awesomeHe remembered my name the first time I met him and that stuck with me. Little things like that matter. I hadn't built relationships with AJ, Ashly, and Josh I probably wouldn't have kept coming back the way I do... but now it feels like one of those places you're always happy to walk into

The chips were warm and fresh and came with both red and green salsa, and both were super tasty. My husband asked if I could make salsa like that at home! We ordered drinks and they came quickly. I appreciated the quality of the drinks especially since we mostly ordered from their drink menu. We ordered "The Good Guac" to start and our server made sure that it wasn't too spicy or anything for my dad. I thought that was very thoughtful that she asked if how it came was ok. For food we ordered street tacos, Baja fish tacos and the parillada en fuego. The food runner seemed confused and brought us another dish (maybe the Verde molcajete) but with the loud music the message that we didn't order it was lost in translation. My husband thought maybe it was what he ordered and started in. Because our server came to check on us so quickly, she caught the mistake right away. She apologized profusely and said they were bringing what we ordered. They allowed us to keep the dish, and no sooner did we have a few bites of the deliciousness the correct food came out. They checked on us quickly, apologized profusely, brought the correct food immediately, let us keep the other food, sent another manager to apologize and finally followed up with coupons to return after making sure we were satisfied with how they handled it. I understand humans make mistakes, so I feel like the recovery or response is what is important. This is the type of amazing service that will keep us coming back. We were actually happy with the mistake as we were able to try another dish we likely wouldn't have ordered (but ended up being our favorite thing to eat). The ambiance was fun, parking was easy, the wait was reasonable, the service was FANTASTIC, the food was delicious and food/drinks were made with quality ingredients. We'll be back!

Caution: Do Not Order To Go I've dined in at this restaurant before and had a wonderful experience, so when I decided to order takeout, I expected the same level of quality. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. Upon getting my food, it was evident that the to-go experience fell short. The fries, which I've enjoyed in the restaurant, didn't taste fresh. They lacked crispness and were very cold. To add to the disappointment, the burger patty was disappointingly dry and lacked the flavorful punch I remembered from my previous visits. It's disheartening when the quality of the food takes a hit in the to-go orders. Been waiting for the Rockwall location to open since it was announced! The burgers are incredible. Juicy and perfectly cooked. The options may seem overwhelming, but there's something for everyone. I'll admit that my favorite is the D.C.C. Just give me a perfectly made cheeseburger! The beer selection is wonderful. Love it. And my wife loves the mixed drinks, especially the What the Buck (like a whiskey Moscow mule?). But the view of the lake is what is probably my favorite part? It's perfect. So happy to have Rodeo Goat open in Rockwall! read more

This place is good. They serve pretty large portion sizes and the food overall is tasty. The issues that I have were the size of the tables. The tables are pretty small and the plates and platters are big so it's up to you to juggle everything and hope you don't end up with it on your lap. Over all the food was really good, I'd recommend the loaded fries. This review could be bumped to a 5 star if they would figure out better tables and seating! read more

I recently went here after work. The bartender, Shannon, allowed her husband to sit at the bar. He was wearing SS (Nazi) patches on his clothes and had another patch that read "kills fags dead".
