They really do a nice job with them. It had great flavor, a rich, frothy texture, and was served at nearly the perfect temperature for me, about 150°F. They also had a good selection of bakery items, and I chose a Cinnamon Coffee Cake Muffin. I normally ask to have muffins warmed up, which they're always happy to do. This time they mentioned that they have a microwave available for customers to use themselves. I had never noticed it before, but I think it's a brilliant idea. You can warm up your pastry just the way you like it, or even give your hot beverage a quick reheat if it cools down. I wish more coffee shops offered something like that. We'll definitely be back!

We also got to try their pastries including the churros and concha. I really liked the churros. I think this is such a cute third space - I saw so many people working there and the staff was so kind. I also liked that they had board games you could play, so we played some Yahtzee and it was my first time (and my mom's first time) and we loved it. The matcha itself was strong, vibrant, and beautifully green - the three things that matter most to me when it comes to matcha. To me it was comparable to some of the well-known matcha spots in Chicago, such as Homebody, Match A, Noble Fat, and Oni Cafe. They also don't put too much ice to fill the cup - you won't get a drink that has half cup of ice like in many places nowadays. While I can see they're doing a great job incorporating trendy specialty recipes and flavors, I think some of those drinks could be refined a bit further from a taste perspective. The matcha itself is excellent, but a few of the specialty combinations felt stronger in concept than execution. One thing to note: the wait was quite long during my visit. It appeared that the owner was handling all of the matcha whisking personally while the rest of the staff focused on preparing other ingredients. Understandable from a quality-control standpoint, but it did create a bottleneck during a busy farmers market rush. Overall, though, this is a solid matcha offering in the Milwaukee area and definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a quality matcha drink! Bonus: the owner is so friendly and welcoming!

Its was $12 so my expectations were very high, but the drink did meet them. The matcha used was extremely high in quality and I could taste the mango and stick rice taste profiles individually. The service was also relative quick considering the fact that they were making the matcha in a traditional way. Later I saw people with baked goods but those weren't mentioned or visible for us to peruse. Our breakfast sandwiches were pretty average, and the coffee was just okay as well. I tried the Carrot Cake Latte and it had a hint of that flavor, but I definitely wanted a little more. I had the madagascar vanilla latte and my friend had the blueberry matcha. Hers was a little on the sweeter side while mine could have been sweeter & was a little too bitter for my taste. Regardless, I'm glad I tried this place out. Employees were wonderful and even let us try a new drink they are workshopping (caramel popcorn latte?!). It was AMAZING and tasted just like caramel popcorn, which was mind blowing. Will definitely be back for that once they roll it out!!
