This place reminded me of the little Mexican food shops in San Diego (also usually ending with -berto's). The burritos here aren't Mission style where they're steamed and full of rice and beans- it's usually just your fillings and some salsa- delicious. The chorizo breakfast burrito was fantastic- I got it with no potatoes and it took me back to my college days. If I was in Bend longer I probably would have come here a little bit more. read more

Visiting Bend for business and was craving Mexican food. And for someone from SoCal and who's traveled extensively I came across this place on accident and I am so glad! The friendly order taker assisted me with my rolled tacos order but I also wanted beans. So I got the #7 special and couldn't be happier. Crisp chicken rolled tacos served hot and not greasy at all. The refried beans were amazing with a great texture. Washed it all down with a tamarind drink. Loved the salsa bar with various spice levels and textures. Even loved the complimentary chips near the register served warm. Very happy with this meal and the value is great. Easy parking. Takes all credit cards. Lively Mexican music too. read more

Rigobertos has been in Bend longer than most people (who complain about it,) have lived here. They use styrofoam on to-go orders and your drink cup, so if polystyrene bothers you bring your own containers (don't forget one for your drink too.) If you can't speak Spanish try to, or don't complain. You as the consumer have the option to go somewhere else. The lengua taco is awesome. I wish they had menudo. read more

I ordered a carne asada plate according to the picture I got excited to try their carne Asada, but actually I got a plate with a little bit of rice and beans, but the carne asada was chopped with not flavor at all, the food was cold. I thought they were giving me ground beef instead of carne asada. I understand a lot of business are doing their best during Covid, but I am not coming back to this place, if they are going to serve something different than expected they should have mention it before ordering. I just ate there and it was good food. I had the fish taco plate. Very clean place. A wide variety of food. You order at the counter. The man who took my order brought me my food. He was friendly. Great food but if you've had your gallbladder removed, stay away from the bean burritos or anything with a lot of refried beans in it. It seems they add lard or something to the beans to make it extra creamy but I've tried the burrito twice now and have been sick for multiple days. read more

This food is very very greasy. But it is really quite tasty (as greasy food tends to be). The service can be slow depending on the day (it can get busy in here). But for the price, this place is pretty good. Their green sauce is awesome; the red is good. I either get their tacos (crispy) or a burrito. Both delicious... just depends on your mood. read more

Maybe it was the fact that this place has a drive thru that stays open until midnight and it seemed like a way better option than the other fast food options still open at that time - but Rodolberto's came through for me last night! I was impressed with the menu selection, prices, and how quick the line moved. The only minor problem was that they didn't seem to understand my order so I had to repeat myself at the window, but it was ready right away so maybe they were just confirming. Do not go there on Tuesday's nights... The front lady was rude & tried to overcharge me for my order. Not to mention she was really stinky, soon as I walked in she walks by and literally I almost left because of that. But even after I explained to her that I know the owner, the manager and everyone else... She still gave me a snotty look and said 12$ for nachos!!! There originally 9$ For the past 6 years that I've been faithfully going there. -RIGOs, if these are the new hired people your trusting then it's your responsibility to keep your customers coming back. We were craving some breakfast burritos, and we took a chance on this place. We weren't disappointed. The drive thru guy was super friendly, and the potato, bacon, and cheese burrito was oh so good. Topped with their green hot sauce was perfection. read more

The burrito was bland and the chips were covered in oil from the fryer. The guacamole was so watery it was either prepackaged and thawed or watered down to save money. Chips had prebagged shredded cheese, like you'd buy at the super market, spread on them that didn't even melt. read more

I'm a fan of this taco shop. They've passed my test, my standard test for all taco shops, adobada tacos. For me, this is the most important taco in the "taco family". If you get the adobada right, I'm a believer. The marinated, spicy pork is pretty darn good here and the amount of meat in the taco is above average. Spicy, flavorful, plentiful, I'm happy. Everything is fresh. I see them opening the refrigerator to grab whatever meat needs to be grilled. Seems to me that it's done on an as ordered basis. Extensive self-serve salsa bar including carrots and jalapeños to go with the complimentary chips. Great groups of kids (young adults) running this restaurant. Friendly, thorough, thoughtful. The one time we had a problem with the order, pork tacos came out instead of beef tacos - the corrected replacement order came out within minutes and they sent us home with the tacos they had made erroneously the first time around. Quick with an apology and quick with the solution. Fair enough. The place is clean and they keep up on cleaning the tables. You order at the counter, pick up your food and the counter and bus your own table. The price is right. I seem to max out at spending six dollars for lunch. The only time I've had that I didn't think was great was a carne asada torta. Too much bread. read more

Finally! The location is accurate here on Yelp! I reviewed them long ago when they had two locations but for some reason only the one on Galveston appeared here (certainly made checking in tricky). Anyway .. we've moved away from Bend since then but like the poster before me .. we always insist on eating here when we come to visit (sometimes twice). We've even made the 5+ hour drive w/o stopping & thereby eating late solely so we can eat at Rigo's. The service is top-notch. The food is superior to any taqueria I've ever tried and I've eaten at a lot having lived in Mexico for a summer. My wife and I had take away dinner from Rigobertos Taco Shop on Saturday 26 November. My wife ordered the #4 combination - bean tostada and enchilada I ordered two burritos - carnitas and adobada. My carnitas burrito was quite good, but the adobada burrito was something to write home about - delicious. Both burritos were large and ALL meat - no beams or rice, just a little salsa to keep all that meat moist. The prices are quite reasonable $21.80 for all of the above and a salsa bar with some nice picante salsas. Highly recommended. read more

Rigoberto's is a great value. I've had quite a few of their burritos and a few of the Tortas. Along with their platter combo versions. I have found some really good items on their menu and some not so good ones. The Good? - the Pollo Azado burrito, the Pollo Adobada burrito, the Carne Asada Torta. The Not-so-Good? - The Al Pastor Torta. Their Al Pastor has been consistently overcooked, tough and crispy. Not worth the money. Their burritos have all been outstanding, flavorful and delicious. I often get their red salsa and sometimes don't use it because the base flavors are so good. Fresh ingredients and they use rich thigh meat instead of from the breast. The Azado can be greasy but it's good nonetheless. My absolute fave is the Pollo Adobada burrito. Fantastic. read more

The rudest people there well I should say just the cashier I'm a delivery person.. so they call and and place the order I go pic there orders up but there's been times..we'll every time where they tell the customer one thing over the phon then charge more the price is always more when I get there and there NOT willing to work with me to fix it and actually declined on making my order cus I need it to be 6.50 and not 10.75 they wouldn't re make a 6.50 Burrito. Hubby and I have stopped in here for breakfast the last 2 days. The first day we both got the super nacho hubby was all carne asada, mine was carne asada and adobada ( we ordered extra meat on them) hubby also got 5 rolled taco's. Everything was pretty good, the service was pretty good we got our food fast. On the second day hubby ordered and oregon burrito and 5 rolled taco's, I was trying to decide what I wanted then when I figured it out I asked for the adobada burrito. This is where the lowering of stars come into play. The man behind the counter pointed to the breakfast burrito which was El Dorado or something like that it had hame, eggs, and I think potatoes. I said " No, Adobada burrito" the man still didnt get it until my husband piped in too, so that was fixed got the burrito I wanted the man was quick we got our food and left. When we got to our motel and I started grubbing down on my burrito, I noticed that the meat lacked alot of flavor that I am used to from the adobada meat so I just wasn't happy about that part, I ate 2 of my husband's rolled taco's those were pretty good with guacamole and cheese, mmmm yummy. As for my super nacho on the first day and the burrito on the second day, I think the flavor of the carne asada meat and all the other goodies masked the none flavor of the adobada meat to where I didnt notice it until I had the burrito. So I am giving 3 stars for the lacking adobada flavor, but wverything else was delicious and I will be back I just won't order adobada again. read more
