Always good, always fresh and always great service. My wife and I enjoy Don Jose's (see what I did there) and the food is always hot and tasty. My wife and I love this place.

My friend and I had lunch here. We took advantage of their lunch specials. I had the enchilada and taco. My friend had Rigo's special. We both enjoyed our meals. Both were huge portions-not smaller "lunch" size. The service was terrific. The waiter was at our table immediately after we sat down. The food came out quickly and he brought the check soon as we were finished. It was comfortable and quiet. Nice to be able to talk and not have to try to hear over loud music. We'll definitely return.

    enchilada

I vomited. My enchiladas were burnt still super crispy and the sauce was like brown chicken fajita quesadilla like two pieces of chicken and I do not feel like that's my moneys worth whatsoever the cheese was stale in the enchiladas we're so greasy now I feel like I'm sick, especially with this diarrhea outbreak I am very upset disappointed and this is one of my favorite restaurants and this is not my first time with this happening so I have very disappointed and Ricky doesn't check anything if the orders are right or nothing he's useless! I will not be returning. I am very disappointed. Most of all disgusted.

2 shredded beef tacos with refried beans.

reminds me of a family owned restaurant. Fantastic food....two shredded beef tacos with rice and beans for$20. Sundays during the summer they have $6 house margaritas ALL DAY. $53 for my husband and I, which included food and one margarita each. This place is a reasonably priced restaurant. Not to fancy but not a taco shop. It's a great spot for good Mexican food! We also had a great server (Jada). The bus boy did well too, making sure our complementary chips and salsa were never empty. If you are looking for a low key, chill atmosphere, then you won't be disappointed!

A family owned restaurant for over 50 years. I have been dining at this chain all my life. It was one of my grandparents favorite places to get together on Sundays and for birthdays. They have the best chips and salsa, and really good rice and beans. The shredded beef tacos are my favorite entree, but I also really like the chimichangas. They have a rewards app now with discounts and offers. Even they got with the times!

This is a good example of the worst taco Tuesday I've ever seen

They have the huitalacoche (corn fungus) quesadilla that I really enjoy as well as their pupusa loroco y queso. Trying out their Lengua taco and taco jaracho which I have been eyeing for a while. All their food is tasty, made fresh. All bursting with flavor. Salsa bar is probably one of my favorites having literally a salsa made for every kind of taste bud. Don't let the small restaurant deceive you. Small restaraunt but with bit flavors. The tortilla made with the quesadilla is nice and soft but with a good chew to it. Tastes like a homemade corn tortilla versus flour. The cheese is rich and has a wonderful pull to it. The lengua is extremely tender, little skimpy on meat portion, but overall good taco. The jarocho taco which is basically a shrimp taco on a cheese crusted tortilla is excellent. Service is what you would expect at a ma and pop shop. The cashier was patient enough to explain to me what a jarocho taco was and also spoke English which was nice for me. Last time I dined I just used butchered Spanish and got by with that but thats on me with practicing more Spanish.

A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing. To make matters worse, one of our meals was completely forgotten. The service was extremely slow throughout the entire visit. Every time we needed something, whether it was a refill, an update, or assistance, the wait felt excessive. The restaurant may have potential because the food itself was flavorful, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or unprepared for the number of customers they had. Another disappointment was the drink selection. We were told they don't have a liquor license, so hard alcohol isn't available. Their sodas were canned, and when we asked for juice for the kids, they told us they were completely out. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is on the smaller side and felt more like a converted house than a traditional restaurant, complete with a fireplace and television in the dining area. The food had good flavor, which is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, the long wait times, missing meal, lack of drink options, and poor service made the overall experience disappointing.
