Happy Sunday Funday here in Santa Ana at Tacos Sinaloa. The food is prepared fresh and made to order with lots of love and care. Friendly helpful staff and clean restroom available inside for customers. The Tacos Al pastor and Huevos rancheros was Amazing as always even on a busy Sunday. Plenty of parking in the back and street level too. The food came out hot and coffee was good too. The Flan take home for later tonight. This restaurant is a local favorite spot for the Mexican community. Credit card is accepted here too. Definitely worth the time and money to come visit Tacos Sinaloa a full service restaurant here in Beautiful Santa Ana. Enjoy!! Happy Memorial day weekend!!

A sit down taco place?? Disclaimer not taco experienced. Prices can seem more expensive, but actually quite reasonable in this economy. The inside is not really ambient and its a small business with only two waitresses, but for a taco place decent food quality. The green sauce that comes with the chips is mouthwateringly different. Its a super creamy tomatillo with a distinct grilled bell pepper like flavor, and not watery like your typical sauces. The other sauces are actually spicy. Tacos is made of corn tortilla and I found everything to pair nicely to satisfy but not super memorable. The quesadilla is a decent portion for only 10.99 and comes with rice beans avocado and salad. The cheese is on the saltier side. Overall great place and I can see why my friend likes it. It's a solid cheap eat for your Mexican craving.

First & LAST time I come here. Food was OKAY but the service was so horrible!!! The guy who took mine and my husband's order was so rude & as we were ordering the server was walking away so my husband pretty much screamed his order out to him ??? When we got our food the server just dropped our food off, HE didn't care to ask if we needed anything else or NOTHING!! I had to get up 3 times to ask for something that I needed! & they charged me $3 for a side of little sour cream they didn't even let me know it would be a ln extra charge.. I told some server I wanted to speak with the manager.. she said he left but the manager was there hiding so unprofessional of him as well. NEVER again

Nothing like the smell of Fabuloso and tacos I recommend the carne asada tacos. I wish the El Pastor was a little more crispy , red and green salsa was good and the chips were nice and warm and don't forget a cold Coke service was good.

Last rainy Sunday evening, my friend and I dined in and enjoyed their hot soups. I had chicken soup which has generous servings of chicken and vegetables. My friend had the pozole soup and the toppings of shredded cabbage etc. The waitress was pleasant and attentive!

Every time we come here its always been great! Favorite things to order: carne Asada wet Burrito, chicken tacos, Molcajete mixto Caliente and micheladas. Thier Chips and green salsa is also addicting! Lol The service has always been good when ever we go. So no issues there.

Shrimp quesadilla (12/10). My favorite dish on the menu and top 5 dish in OC. So rich and flavorful. Add some green sauce = YUM

To go order PSA: Call in your order WAY ahead of time. This place can take very, very long to prep your order depending on the time and day and how busy they are. Example) Phoned in order for 1 shrimp quesadilla said 25min (then waited an extra 10min in the restaurant); walk in to go order for 1 breakfast burrito on a Saturday at 10:30am took 50min!!!) But these two items (and their green sauce) are totally worth it. My go-to's: Shrimp quesadilla - 12/10 Breakfast burrito with bacon, hash browns, cheese, picó de Gallo - 10/10 Green sauce - 15/10 Do yourself a favor and try the shrimp quesadilla. It might be one of my favorite dishes in OC. The flavors in this quesadilla are unmatched and incredibly rich. The shrimp is chopped, flavorful, and juicy (never over cooked). The cheese is melted and gooey. And the pico de Gallo/salsa they throw in adds the perfect texture and freshness with helps balance the richness of the shrimp and cheese. Add some of their green sauce for some creaminess and a good kick. Omg it's just so good. 12/10 The breakfast burrito is a new fan favorite for me. The ordering style is 100% build your own so just tell them what you want in it and they will build from scratch. I did bacon, hash browns, cheese, and pico de gallo and I wouldn't change a thing. (Cheese could've be melted more as you can see in the photo it's still in shredded form). Love that the bacon is chopped so you get it in every bite, and love that's it's not 60% potato like some places. Would get this bfast burrito every time (just call WAY ahead on weekends). Add little red salsa from the bar and it's perfection. 10/10 Last is the green sauce they serve at the salsa bar. Omg I don't know how they make it but the flavor is unbelievable. It's not gaucasalsa!! It's like a creamy Serrano sauce. Great spice level and perfect kick. Dip a chip it in, add it to your meal, eat it with anything. It's delicious and so unique (at least to my naive pallet). 15/10

From the moment you sit down, the staff treats you with a level of warmth and attentiveness that immediately puts you at ease--you can genuinely tell they are happy to see you and appreciate your patronage. The dining room itself is stunning, featuring an elegant, home-welcoming atmosphere down to every last detail. The carefully curated lighting, comfortable chairs and tables, and the beautiful pictures lining the walls create an exceptionally warm and inviting environment. While I initially expected the standard chips and salsa, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary snack of crispy "cartwheels" drizzled with a tangy, flavorful hot sauce that hits all the right notes. As for the main event, the food is remarkably authentic and rich in flavor. I ordered the fish tacos accompanied by white rice, but the real star of the show--to my absolute shock--was the side of pinto beans. They are so incredible that I am literally planning a trip back this weekend just to order another side of them. If you think I'm exaggerating about a side of beans, you simply have to try them for yourself. Huge kudos to the cook and the entire staff for delivering next-level hospitality and an unforgettable meal. This place is a breath of fresh air, and I will definitely be back!

Thanks to Restaurant Week, we stumbled upon this gem, and we are so grateful. The hospitality alone would earn five stars. But then came the food. The tacos? Absolutely exceptional. The steak was tender and flavorful in a way that reminded me of eating throughout Mexico, you could actually taste the meat. A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing. The beans were lovely, the rice was solid, and my passion fruit winearita drink was genuinely a treat. Restaurant Week gave us the perfect low-pressure reason to try somewhere new, and we walked out with a new favorite. We'll be back for lunch. We'll be back for dinner. And yes, Taco Tuesday, we'll absolutely be back for that.

To make matters worse, one of our meals was completely forgotten. The service was extremely slow throughout the entire visit. Every time we needed something, whether it was a refill, an update, or assistance, the wait felt excessive. The restaurant may have potential because the food itself was flavorful, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or unprepared for the number of customers they had. Another disappointment was the drink selection. We were told they don't have a liquor license, so hard alcohol isn't available. Their sodas were canned, and when we asked for juice for the kids, they told us they were completely out. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is on the smaller side and felt more like a converted house than a traditional restaurant, complete with a fireplace and television in the dining area. The food had good flavor, which is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, the long wait times, missing meal, lack of drink options, and poor service made the overall experience disappointing.

Then this happened. I brought my family here for dinner, and when we were closing out the check, the server failed to mention that gratuity was automatically added for a party of 6. I didn't realize it until I was about to sign and saw that I was about to leave ANOTHER tip on top of the automatic gratuity. I was like, oh HELL NO, I'm not tipping $80+ So I asked the server to refund the entire transaction and rerun the payment correctly. She told me she couldn't do that, but said she could refund the extra tip instead. I said okay, trusting that she knew what she was doing. We left. Fast forward about 4-6 months later. I come back with different family members, and the MANAGER comes over and tells me I have an outstanding balance of around $150. At first I genuinely thought he was joking. Nope. Apparently, when the server was supposed to refund the extra tip, she accidentally refunded the ENTIRE BILL and kept the tip. ‍ Now explain to me HOW that was my problem?! I specifically told her I wanted the entire transaction refunded so we could start over, and SHE chose to handle it differently. That was THEIR mistake, not mine. And the worst part? Instead of pulling me aside privately and explaining what happened, the manager brought this up IN FRONT OF THE FAMILY I WAS WITH. So now I'm sitting there being told I owe $150+ in front of my guests because of an error THEIR employee made months earlier. Talk about embarrassing. Thank God I'm in a position where I could afford to pay it, so I paid the outstanding amount AND my new bill that day -- over $300 out of pocket -- just to resolve the whole situation. I paid everything they said I owed for both visits, and I have never gone back since. And I WILL NEVER go back. Between the salty-ass food and the customer service, I'll take my money somewhere else. Just sharing my TRUE experience because I think customers deserve to know what happened.
