The best taco place i've been to in a while. Staff is super friendly and they had live music.

Happy Sunday Funday here in Santa Ana at Tacos Sinaloa. The food is prepared fresh and made to order with lots of love and care. Friendly helpful staff and clean restroom available inside for customers. The Tacos Al pastor and Huevos rancheros was Amazing as always even on a busy Sunday. Plenty of parking in the back and street level too. The food came out hot and coffee was good too. The Flan take home for later tonight. This restaurant is a local favorite spot for the Mexican community. Credit card is accepted here too. A sit down taco place?? Disclaimer not taco experienced. Prices can seem more expensive, but actually quite reasonable in this economy. The inside is not really ambient and its a small business with only two waitresses, but for a taco place decent food quality. The green sauce that comes with the chips is mouthwateringly different. Its a super creamy tomatillo with a distinct grilled bell pepper like flavor, and not watery like your typical sauces. The other sauces are actually spicy. Tacos is made of corn tortilla and I found everything to pair nicely to satisfy but not super memorable. The quesadilla is a decent portion for only 10.99 and comes with rice beans avocado and salad. The cheese is on the saltier side. Overall great place and I can see why my friend likes it. It's a solid cheap eat for your Mexican craving. read more

The guy who took mine and my husband's order was so rude & as we were ordering the server was walking away so my husband pretty much screamed his order out to him ??? When we got our food the server just dropped our food off, HE didn't care to ask if we needed anything else or NOTHING!! I had to get up 3 times to ask for something that I needed! & they charged me $3 for a side of little sour cream they didn't even let me know it would be a ln extra charge.. This is a great little place if your in the mood for great tasting Mexican food. I had the steak fajitas which has such great flavor. The fried chilis were not spicy, but those are a hit and miss. We've been long-time customers, but unfortunately we won't be returning. Our recent visit was disappointing from start to finish. The chips we were given were a mix of super soft and overly hard pieces, which made it clear they hadn't been checked for freshness. When my dad asked for an extra bag to carry our items, the owner responded with attitude and didn't offer any help. They also almost forgot our horchata--something that has happened multiple times, as they often forget our drinks. We understand they were busy during dinner time, but with the prices they charge, we expect better consistency and customer service. I love their food. The tortilla soup is one of the best around. The service, well a couple days ago my mother in law fell at this location near the salsa area and did they ask how she was? No. Did they check in with if she was okay? No. So no the service is not all that. A elderly lady fell in your restaurant, she hit her head and face because you had a wet floor with no mat or warning sign. How does that work for you? No matter how good the food is service is will always make a restaurant! So if you enjoy good food in a restaurant that doesn't care for the welfare of their regulars (I mean she LOVES going here.) then this is the restaurant foe you. read more

For starters the place smells and does not have a nice set up. It's almost as if they started building a diner and combined it with the taco joint. When I first came in, I was not greeted nicely. There is no customer service the girl working there, seemed like she didn't want to be there. I sat down and ordered an agua fresca and it was a total disappointment of a drink. I order a torta they literally took five minutes to make it and that worried me. And I was right to worried because the Torta was wet and tasteless, non of the ingredients they used looked fresh. To go order PSA: Call in your order WAY ahead of time. This place can take very, very long to prep your order depending on the time and day and how busy they are. Example) Phoned in order for 1 shrimp quesadilla said 25min (then waited an extra 10min in the restaurant); walk in to go order for 1 breakfast burrito on a Saturday at 10:30am took 50min!!!) But these two items (and their green sauce) are totally worth it. My go-to's: Shrimp quesadilla - 12/10 Breakfast burrito with bacon, hash browns, cheese, picó de Gallo - 10/10 Green sauce - 15/10 Do yourself a favor and try the shrimp quesadilla. It might be one of my favorite dishes in OC. The flavors in this quesadilla are unmatched and incredibly rich. The shrimp is chopped, flavorful, and juicy (never over cooked). The cheese is melted and gooey. And the pico de Gallo/salsa they throw in adds the perfect texture and freshness with helps balance the richness of the shrimp and cheese. Add some of their green sauce for some creaminess and a good kick. Omg it's just so good. 12/10 The breakfast burrito is a new fan favorite for me. The ordering style is 100% build your own so just tell them what you want in it and they will build from scratch. I did bacon, hash browns, cheese, and pico de gallo and I wouldn't change a thing. (Cheese could've be melted more as you can see in the photo it's still in shredded form). Love that the bacon is chopped so you get it in every bite, and love that's it's not 60% potato like some places. Would get this bfast burrito every time (just call WAY ahead on weekends). Add little red salsa from the bar and it's perfection. 10/10 Last is the green sauce they serve at the salsa bar. Omg I don't know how they make it but the flavor is unbelievable. It's not gaucasalsa!! It's like a creamy Serrano sauce. Great spice level and perfect kick. Dip a chip it in, add it to your meal, eat it with anything. It's delicious and so unique (at least to my naive pallet). 15/10 read more

This is one of our standard go-tos. I loooooove this restaurant. The servers are all so nice & attentive. The food is always fantastic. I like that they have good options on the menu.. hub can get his meat , I love the veggie burrito and the kids enjoy tacos or burgers. Price can't be beat. Carne asada burrito are the best! Every time we order them they don't disappoint! We do it with no pico and the jalapeno salsa is amazing.

My wife ordered enchiladas My Son ordered siete de mares We waited a long time for our food at least 3540 minutes and then right when they're about to bring our food they brought us six baskets of chips with tiny little cups of salsa and then brought our plates of food did not make sense at all The green sauce on my burrito was way too plain. It taste like a ton of lemons mixed with tomatillo. The inside of the burrito tasted just as bad the beans and rice. It was about two or three spoonfuls ate all of it because I spent money on it but immediately regretted it tasted like a monster. I can't wait to hurry up and digest and get rid of it out of my body, I ordered something. My wife felt the same about her plate. She finished it so not to waste money but felt terrible afterwards. None of the food had flavor at all. It says someone was just cooking it putting it together just to get it out. you can tell that it was just fast food, which is funny because it was a sitdown restaurant with full menus My Son was missing components and we could tell that the seafood was frozen. It was bland in robbery. I'm not well put together at all. Plates looked presentable at all for us to order food wait for about 40 minutes and then totally regret even ordering food and coming here. Should say a lot about this place. The staff were nice. The soda was good out of the bottle, but the food was just terrible. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I really truly hope someone who owns this place would overhaul the food prep process and retrain the cooks because I just can't stand this place. Normally, we love this place. We usually order one of the combination plates and the mole which are both excellent! Service is really good and they keep the place clean. However, this last time we ordered something different - I ordered the al pastor quesadilla and my boyfriend ordered the fish (mojo de ajo). They were both so greasy!! He had to drain the grease off his fish with napkins. Very disappointing!! We will remain loyal customers, but just won't order those items again. read more

I feel at home when I am here, the ambiance is friendly. We ordered green enchiladas, ceviche tostadas and tacos de chorizo, the food was amazing! So much flavor ! The salsas are so delicious. They have the spicy green sauce that I love. On the table if you eat here they have a variety of sauces to choose from and a salsa bar as well. I like this place and I will definitely be back, be patient the waitresses are always busy there is always a lot of people specially for lunch and your food does take a while to be out, but it is worth the wait. read more
