Found this place on yelp. Took an Uber from our hotel in Arlington. First thing I see when we get off the freeway: a stripped car on bricks in the back of an open church parking lot followed by some mom and pop tire and mechanic shops. Take all my stars!!! Oh my gosh the menudo and barbacoa here is phenomenal!!! I ordered the small menudo but I swear it went on for days !! The taste was amazing!! The Barbacoa taco was filled with delicious meat !! I got the little muffin thing with the cherry for dessert and it too was amazing !! The young man behind the counter was so sweet and kind! i order a burrito and turns out it wasn't a burrito , just a small taco with bunch fajitas slapped on top of one tortilla and side lemon .

So so food. I got the breakfast burrito with chorizo...it was a bit bland. Not sure if I would go back .

The food is great & made to order so expect to wait a little or call ahead. The place is off the beaten path but kept very clean & tidy. They are a little short staffed but despite that they very kind & professional. This is a menudo review.....i love good menudo, not all menudo is great. The winning components for me is clean, no smell, not a ton of fat, good full broth, hominy and taste This spot checks all the boxes and I was very very pleased with my order. The restaurant is clean and the service was friendly. The wait time was a little long. We ordered 2 menudos, 1 pozole, 6 barbacoa tacos and a barbacoa torta. The barbacoa was good but not the best of I've had. The pozole was delicious, spicy and hot! The menudo broth was better the meat, but that's personal preference. The barbacoa tacos are charged as burritos. The "tacos" are $3.50 each in mini corn tortillas. I would come back for the pozole. read more

First time trying Rodriguez's and the menudo was a 10/10. This hole in the wall restaurant that also has pan dulce made fresh daily was a surprisingly one of the best Mexican restaurants I have tried. I look forward to going back and trying out the rest of the menu. read more

Wow. I'm not sure what to say. I had the Chilaquiles Verdes when I typically just go for Heuvos Rancheros. I'm not sure I can go back. Sunday morning and the place is packed it's also a fantastic place to bring kids to have a bakery treat while you get the good stuff. Anyway, the Chilaquiles Verdes was excellent and nicely spicy! Tried to call (several times) in an order today, Saturday morning (around 9 a.m.), but nobody picked up so I drove over to the restaurant and placed my order of breakfast tacos at 9:30 a.m. and it took longer than the 15 minutes they said it would take for my order to be ready. My order was finally ready at 10:15 a.m. I got home at 10:30 a.m. and my family and I enjoyed the tacos. They were delicious. Be prepared to wait a while on the weekends. I've gone by during the week and it's much faster service. The food never disappoints. read more

Walked in and paid employee was well protected with mask and gloves (which she changed between customers) place was impeccably clean Food- Huevos Rancheros heavenly. My mom brought me here and the food did not disappoint. Casual and laid back bakery and restaurant. When you walk in, you have to order at the front and they bring you your food. So don't go sit down and wait for a waiter like we did! Lol. We both ordered a small menudo, Barbacoa taco and chorizo and eggs on the side for my nephew. The barbacoa is AMAZINGGGGG! The best barbacoa taco that I have ever had. The food came out quick and right. We didn't wait very long. Before we left, we grabbed a bag of fresh pan (Mexican bread). We will return! Food was very good. We had the chilaquiles verde. Really good. My wife makes them at home from time too time and she even said they were good. That's high praise from a cook that is from Guadalajara. You should give them a try if you are in that area. read more

I actually enjoyed this place so much I went two days in a row! The huge burrito was EXACTLY THAT. I got eggs, potatoes, cheese, bacon, and beans in mine. I love the red salsa. It has a really good flavor. The day prior, I got the micas. They were good, but I do like my tortillas a little more crispy. Still, I did not have to add any salt, which lets me know when food is good! The lady that works the register was very pleasant as well. Just came in for a late breakfast, this place is great! Unassuming store front aside, the food and prices are on point. The regular burritos are like large tacos at about 2$ a piece (i had 3) and my wife had the large (gigantic) pozole for about $7. She says its the best pozole she's had yet in Dallas but very spicy so warning to the heat sensitive. Fresh made tortillas, steaming hot delicious food, fast service, spicy/tasty salsas.
