Chorico, Eggs (2) Toast & Homefries

A cute diner that is perfect for a lazy Sunday breakfast. It is homey and has tables for groups and stools at an open kitchen for single diners. The homefries were tasty and the chorico added a salty bite.

Man, I never really go out for wieners but this was by far the best ones I've had. My girl friend showed me this place, the meat sauce is delicious... I got two and then got another one excellent! Great grilled cheese too!

I grew up eating weiners in Woonsocket from New York Lunch. While they are amazing... Rod's Grille has shown me something better. I know it's just weiners, but theirs just seems to be just that much better. The place is very clean and I loved the onion rings! Glad I was able to try Rod's.

Always friendly and attentive staff, plus very affordable foods here. Nothing fancy but consistently good affordable goods. My kids and I have been coming here for years and never once walked out of here disappointed.

We ordered the mini stuffies, the hummus plate, and the fried pickles. The mini stuffies were a highlight. Loaded with Mello's chouriço and packed with flavor, they're a solid little bite. My grandfather set the bar pretty high for me on stuffies, and these came close. They have a different profile than what I grew up with; a little less bready, more chouriço forward, and the clam flavor takes a back seat. Not necessarily a complaint, they were just different from what I'm used to and were genuinely tasty. The lemon aioli on top was also a nice touch. The fried pickles were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy, well fried, and the breading actually stayed put while you ate them, which is more than I can say for a lot of fried pickles. They came with the same lemon aioli as the stuffies, which worked just as well here. The hummus plate was a bit of a letdown. We've had it many times before and it used to be a standout. This time the hummus itself was thick and pretty flavorless, more like a dense chickpea paste than anything else. The accompaniments were nice though and consisted of heirloom carrots, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pickled cauliflower, carrot, and a pepperoncini, all served alongside some buttery round crackers that were like a Ritz cracker's more refined cousin. The veggies saved the plate, but the hummus needs to find its way back. I suppose it could have just been an off batch and won't prevent us from trying it again. Cocktails were great, as usual. I had the Anana with scotch. I love pineapple and this has muddled pineapple and basil, pineapple juice, cracked black pepper. It's my go-to here and it delivered again. My partner went adventurous and ordered the Jungle Booby, which is built around tequila blanco and mezcal with campari, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, orgeat, and an absinthe spritz. The flavors were genuinely good, but the smokiness from the mezcal was a bit much for her taste. She followed it up with a glass of rosé and had no complaints after that. The cocktail wasn't the problem, it just wasn't her style. One of our favorite spots in Warren for a quick nibble, for a good reason.

He genuinely cares about his restaurant and the people he serves. A lot of owners would get defensive over something as minor as "the home fries weren't well done enough," but not Ari. We've been to Hamilton Diner many times and the food is consistently delicious. On this visit, our home fries weren't quite as crispy as we'd asked for. It was a small thing that honestly wouldn't have affected our rating at all -- we know how busy things can get. What impressed me most was Ari personally coming to our table to apologize and bringing out a fresh replacement. He didn't have to do that, but he did - and that's exactly why we'll keep coming back. Thank you, Ari, for your compassion, your humbleness, and the pride you take in your restaurant. You and your team are doing it right. Also sorry for the lack of photos, we dug right into our dishes. The Biscuits and Gravy dish is delicious!

We started with a half order of nachos topped with the most flavorful pulled pork I've ever had. My wife and I literally couldn't stop eating. The fresh jalapeños added just the right kick, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the barbecue sauce, and the house-made chips stayed crisp the whole time--no sogginess, just done right. Every detail was intentional, and you could taste it. Then came the dry rub chicken wings--perfectly cooked with a juicy center and a crisp exterior. The subtle honey sriracha flavor layered in beautifully without overpowering the chicken. To finish, we had the baby back ribs over coconut rice. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the rice was cooked perfectly with just the right hint of sweetness, and the shaved Brussels sprouts with pickled onions and jalapeños added the perfect crunch and contrast. I genuinely couldn't stop eating. The service matched the food. Our waitress guided us with spot-on recommendations, and I must have told her six times that this was the best meal I've ever had. By the time we left, we felt like we had just been welcomed into someone's home. I loved the atmosphere inside and out. I only wish I had the chance to meet the owner to say this in person--the attention to detail, the energy, and the care put into this place are undeniable. Thank you for the best meal I've had in 37 years. Seriously.

The food is amazing You can tell whoever creates it really knows what they're doing. However, the service and management really needs some work. I taken my son there twice and he absolutely loved it, which isn't always the case for a somewhat picky 17-year-old. He liked it so much she decided to take his new girlfriend there for their first serious dinner date. Once the waitress realized that it was two kids who weren't gonna be spending a lot of money, She instantly turned cold and tried to rush them out of there as soon as possible. I have also found that the service isn't great. The weight staff definitely needs some tips on being warm and friendly to people who are on average spending $50 ahead for dinner. I went in again recently and had a very similar experience with an older waitress who seemed pushy and somewhat rude do better.
