Thousand Oaks Auto Detailing is priced very reasonably, I decided to go with them for my first time detailing my car. Victor was very communicative when booking a date via call and text! When the day came, Victor and his team arrived 30 minutes earlier, but let me know that I didn't need to rush if I wasn't ready. Once I got all my things out, they went straight to business. The team was very thorough and Victor was very honest on certain small spots I pointed out that he can't fix and didn't want to damage more if he tried which I totally understand. He told me about their car washes and the deals they had. He is your shining star! His brightness never fades! I love how they have so many choices and their prices are great too! I noticed too when I drove it that they had vacuuming first which a really great idea! The first I've ever seen, their suctions on their vacuums are very strong which I love and gets all the dirt and debris out of my car! They also have damp washcloth for inside your cars to wipe what needs to wipe to make your car super clean! Afterwards you stay in our car and go through there car wash. I got the $27.99 for a single time wash. Since I was a new member they gat me a discount I only paid $19.99!! I so so thrilled. So drive through we did, and were rewarded with a much shinier vehicle after going through their system. Each LUV Car Wash location has a different layout, due to space available on the lot. This one has a lot of space in the middle area to go to vacuum the interior before or after the wash. Once you run through the washing / rinsing / drying tunnel, it's easiest to just head back onto T.O. Boulevard and continue with your day. I don't keep track of the cost per wash, because we have the monthly subscription. On that plan, it's best to go through the system frequently to get the best value. It's always a day brightener to drive out with a clean car.

I'm only sharing my experience in hopes that it helps future customers! I came in wanting the basic wash, but I ended up agreeing to a much more expensive option because I felt pressured in the moment. Looking back, I wish I had stuck with what I originally wanted. After my car wash, I chatted with others and realized the basic wash was exactly what I had been looking for all along! I quickly ran back inside and politely asked if it would be possible to switch to the basic wash instead. Karen at the front desk was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire interaction. She listened to my concerns, called the manager over, and treated me with genuine respect. I was so appreciative of her customer service that I even contacted the corporate office afterward to compliment her. Thank you, Karen!! Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager left me feeling disappointed. Throughout the conversation, I remained polite, smiled, and apologized for the misunderstanding because I truly wasn't trying to create a difficult situation. I simply wanted the basic wash that I had originally intended to purchase. Thankfully, the pricing was ultimately adjusted, but I left feeling that my request had been misunderstood when I was only asking if it would be possible to switch to the service I had originally wanted. Once everything was resolved, I went back to thank the manager for adjusting the price and apologized again because I genuinely appreciated that the situation had been corrected. I also want to give credit where it's due! The team cleaning my car was friendly and hardworking. Because the cleaning was interrupted while the pricing issue was being sorted out, my car ended up unfinished. There were still wet spots, my back seat had been folded down and wasn't returned to its original position, and there were even some bird droppings left on the exterior when I drove away. I was genuinely excited to try this company after driving by so often! I haven't given up on the brand, and I'd still love to check out the other Thousand Oaks location (N Moorpark) in the future. My advice to future customers is to be very clear about which wash you want and confirm the price before agreeing to any additional services.
