Coming from someone who understands what it feels like to be in your position, Joseph honestly…read moresaved me and helped me regain my confidence. I should've written this review two years ago when I started becoming Joseph's regular, but I was afraid of letting people know I wear a system. However, I think people should hear about Joseph and what a godsend he is. If you've been waiting for a sign to decide whether or not you should take a chance with Joseph, here's your sign! It's not easy having a receding hairline in your twenties. By the time I was 26, I'd stopped seeing my friends and even had difficulty looking at myself in the mirror. I began researching procedures to regrow hairlines and discovered toupee systems. I debated trying this method out as it is a big commitment. After two years of dilly-dallying, I took a leap of faith and went right for it. In total, I received service from three specialists. The first one, who sold me my first system, was an amateur who overcharged me for a generic hairpiece. They did a horrible job and made me instantly regret going down this path. Since my foot was already through the door, I convinced myself to keep trying and made an appointment with another specialist when it was time for maintenance. She carefully cleaned the hairpiece, then cut it into the hairstyle I had envisioned. I remember looking into the mirror and just smiling cause I didn't think I could look "normal" again. The only thing was her studio was charging above-average market prices since their clientele were mostly individuals of wealthy social status. Joseph was my third encounter, and I had been with him for two years because he's proven to be more knowledgeable and skilled than his competitors. He's honest and will let you know what he thinks will work best for you. His service charge is a bargain considering he delivers the same, if not better, quality of high-end boutiques. Now having worn a hair system for over two years, I can share some of my personal experiences, starting with some pros and cons: Benefits: 1. Provides instantaneous results, excluding the wait time for your first system to be completed. 2. It will boost your self-confidence and help you feel like yourself once again. 3. You can technically stop this procedure anytime you feel it's not working out for you, or perhaps you're not financially stable enough to afford such a luxury. I experienced some financial difficulties amidst covid, but I returned to it once I was stable again. 4. Opportunity to have the hairstyle you've always wanted. 5. More financially manageable than other alternatives. Drawbacks: 1. Requires routine maintenance - see a specialist so they can clean and reapply the adhesive. 2. It can get itchy underneath, and it can be hard to manage. 3. Avoid hot and humid environments such as hot springs and saunas. 4. Fear of rejection and judgment from a romantic interest. 5. As routine maintenance is required, this may restrict your vacation plans. However, you could mitigate this by learning to clean and change the adhesive yourself. I believe the benefits outweigh the disadvantages, and it's something I've been living happily with for two years now. Mull over these points yourself and decide whether you can live with them. I sincerely encourage you to call Joseph to get your free consultation if you choose to give the hairpiece method a try. May you find yourself again.

The whole establishment looks worn and dated. I am a long time hairpiece wearer whose previous provider closed shop. Joseph's prices may be fair, but after spending some time with him, I doubted I could trust that I would be satisfied -- and pieces take 2 months to deliver.

Scalp Purifying Spa" treatment here at Bero, and I had called to make an appointment booking first thing in the morning for a weekday. They have different monthly discounts for their weekday & weekend pricing. If I were to compare to the Korean scalp treatment we got earlier this year, it really is a big difference compared to Bero's scalp treatment and Bero's cannot really compare... However, we both enjoyed the experience as it does include before & after AI camera shots of your scalp, scalp cleaning, deep scalp massage w/ some neck & shoulders as well, a full body massage chair, very light refreshments (tea + cookies), some other oils at the very end, and a simple blow dry. They don't style your hair, just a simple blow dry. We were both surprised to see that our scalps were still looking very clean so we might stretch out our next scalp treatment a bit longer to see how it goes. Bero Scalp Spa is located in the plaza next to the SG Hilton, on the second floor. Parking lot is available. Elevators are a bit slow. Tina and Alice were both good, as hubs & I both needed the massages we got. Their interior is clean and each of the massaging/scalp areas has privacy curtains. Their restroom is also clean.

I brought a friend with me because I've come a few times and always enjoyed it and felt relaxed but this time was sooo not relaxing and I was sad my friend didn't have a good experience. We got there in the evening for a 90 min and it began as it always did . I'm not sure why but this time the "massage" chair was horrible!!! I couldn't relax and was literally waiting for it to be done. I tried to wiggle my ankles out of the chair and kept moving around the girl never stopped the chair I don't think she even understood that I said I was uncomfortable. This experience felt sooo rough and rushed and I'm not sure if it was because I came at a 6pm time. Either way I should've gotten a great experience with my friend. The chair is uncomfortable the lady was rough it wasn't relaxing and felt like they wanted us to hurry up so they can close and go home. After all of it they did another hair analysis and my friend asked "what would I do to maintain my healthy scalp" the girl didn't speak any English and said "sorry " and giggled Really I don't know what's going on here but I won't be coming back

Do not come here unless you want to be tortured…read more I bought a Groupon for a couples 60-minute scalp massage/wash. When we arrived, my friend and I filled out waiver forms that asked for our goals and preferred pressure. I wrote that my goals were a relaxing time and a clean scalp, and I selected medium pressure. After that, I was led to the washing station. I laid down and suddenly a mechanical body massager turned on, which I was not expecting at all. It was incredibly uncomfortable and actually painful. It applied extreme pressure to my legs and feet and dragged them side to side every 30 seconds. After about five minutes of this repetitive "massage," I asked the woman doing my service to stop it. She clearly didn't speak English and didn't fully understand me, so I pointed at my legs and said "no massage." I heard her click a button, so I assumed she stopped it. A minute later, it continued. I was annoyed that she ignored my request, but I decided to just deal with it because I didn't want to come off rude by asking again. Meanwhile, while my body was being tortured, my scalp was being scratched raw. Clearly, we have different definitions of "medium pressure" because I couldn't figure out which was worse, the body massage machine or the scalp wash. I have no idea if she was using her nails or some kind of tool, but all I could do was brace myself. I considered asking her to stop attacking my scalp and just wash my hair normally since I literally wrote that one of my goals was a "relaxing time," but given the language barrier, I knew it would probably be pointless. When it finally ended, I was taken to the blow-dry station. That was the only remotely relaxing part, but my scalp was so sore that I couldn't even enjoy it. Now, you might be thinking, "That's it, right?" Nope. When it was time to show the Groupon, I clarified that it covered both me and my friend since it's listed for two people/couples. Then we asked if we could tip with card. (I honestly didn't want to tip at all, but I figured, whatever, since I'll never be back.) They told us tips had to be through Venmo/Zelle. So we both tipped and turned to leave. But when we tried to walk out, the door was locked. I turned around and asked the lady at the front desk for help with the door. Instead of helping, she said something like, "Only one?" I assumed she meant the Groupon again, so I re-explained that it was for two people. She then clarified, "Tip... only one?" I was shocked. How unprofessional. What business double-checks if both people tipped? Tipping is optional. What if one of us didn't want to? Is that something we'd be forced to justify to her? I told her we both tipped. She said she received mine but not my friend's, so my friend had to pull out her phone, open her bank app, and show that $20 had been sent via Zelle. Again, how incredibly unprofessional. Maybe management should consider paying and training their employees better so they're not so desperate for tips. For context, the service isn't cheap. The Groupon was $140.
