I came in to Rogers this past Tuesday and I had the second best meal experience in my life, regardless of cost. The best when taking price into consideration. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and given the option of sitting outside or inside. We chose the inside, but did notice they had blankets on hand for anyone that chose the outside option. The tables and chairs were comfortable but not remarkable, walls were painted bricks and all together aided a very comfortable setting with lots of character. The service was great, with the waitress taking drink orders within minutes of us sitting. I got a seasonal cider, having the waitress choose which of thief selections I would get. It was a crisp pear cider that was delicious. My girlfriend had a coffee with Bailey's that she loved. I ordered the Cast iron seared steak and my girlfriend had the Crab cakes. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, just the way I like it. It had an excellent seared crust which was full of flavor. It was accompanied with a creamy mashed potatoes and roasted cauliflower. I've had cauliflower many ways, but never roasted. This added a pleasant crunch. The crab cakes were mostly crab, with minimal filler. This made the crab cakes fall apart easily but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for that much real crab. We didn't have dessert so I can't comment on that, but the overall experience was superb and I will most definitely be back soon. read more

Amy loved the clams so much she wanted to thank our waitress and the chef, which she usually doesn't want to do because she is very shy. Our waitress asked if she wanted a tour of the kitchen - which she obviously said yes to. Kayla gave Amy a behind the scenes exclusive tour of the kitchen so she could thank Roger for the clams. CLAM LOVERS Look no further, this is the SPOT!! Make sure you call and reserve a spot on the beautiful deck they have for outdoor seating which looks over the Snohomish River! It's also covered so I'm guessing it's year round! No only that but they provide complementary blankets! Looking for a date night? To impress your in-laws? Amazing food??? You must try Rogers! I recommend getting a patio seat if possible. It's fully enclosed in the winter plus it has heaters and a blanket at each seat AND it tends to be quieter than the main area. During the multiple trips to Rogers, there's only one dish I wasn't impressed with...the cordon bleu. It's not my favorite dish is general though. My husband loves the lamb!! And for dessert...get the flourless chocolate cake with raspberries. Bonus: We took my BIL here who has Celiacs. They have lots of recommendations for GF options! read more

Words cannot accurately express the disappointment I feel after my experience at Rigers river front Bistro in Snohomish tonight. I honestly do not have one good thing to say about this restaurant. The service was slow and the staff was indifferent. It wasn't very busy I and asked if we could have a table outside. They said they'd have to ask the "maitre d". Really? They didn't even have working bathrooms but call the host a "maitre d". Took forever to get drinks and food. No one ever asked if it was ok when we finally did get it and it wasn't. The salmon was under cooked and the chicken cordon bleu was inedible. I will never go back and do not recommend anyone else go either. BTW isn't it against the health code to not have a working bathroom in a restaurant? read more

Tried this place on a whim after yelping nearby. We were seated on the covered patio that had space heaters set up and blankets on every chair. Service from start to finish was amazing. Ordered Caesar salad and bread basket to start. Was a little worried when these two items were the first impression. Salad was 4 pieces of flat romain covered in tons of Parmesan and dressing. Strangest salad I've ever seen, and difficult to eat. The bread basket really left something to be desired as well. Tiny tiny pieces of bread unheated. For dinner I ordered one of the specials -short ribs and husband had the steak. Really really tasty. Dessert we had cheesecake which was also delicious. We will eat here again. It was so quaint and the service again was really really stellar. They just need to clean up their food presentations or stop trying to be so fancy. The staff and restaurant is very nice. The back outdoor sitting has a nice view and each chair comes with a blanket. I could only speak for the halibut and elk dish that we had. It was pretty cool to try elk meat - the menu said a rack of elk - however you only get 2 small pieces which wasn't very filling and it was a bit on the chewy side. The halibut was ok - a little on the dry side and I didn't think the sauce or glaze that it came with was all that impressive. Their mashed potato however was delicious and made with real potatoes. Just tried Roger's on a whim this evening. Seated on the deck on a warm Spring night with a beautiful view of the river. It's hard to say which was better, the service of the food. Both were outstanding! I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly. I would go far as to say it's the best steak in town. My husband had the halibut and he was equally as pleased. The wait staff were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection and I will be back to try their rack of lamb next. We had seen this restaurant listed on Yelp several months ago, but hadn't been in until late April. Upon arrival, we were invited to try a table out on the enclosed back patio and were seated at a table with warm blankets among radiant heaters, classic, subtle lighting and a quiet atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for the end of a very hectic work week. We started our meal with Shannon's Toast Points. My husband and I both loved them! Really delicious combination of flavors. Our entrees were the Chicken Cordon Blue and the Roasted Salmon. Both were excellent, beautifully prepared with nice sides. We finished with slices of Elizabeth's Cheesecake and Kentucky Pecan Pie that were delightful! We've been back since our first visit and had the Bistro Burger which was great! All the food is very fresh and the warmth of the owners and staff have made this establishment a favorite! read more

We went on a Monday evening but it was still packed. We were told our party was too big for the patio (4 adults and one toddler), okay but they seated us by the patio, so we went with it. My mom and I split the Waldorf and my husband and dad had the Caesar salad. We also had some bruschetta type bread with delicious cheese and jam topping. All were great to start with. My folks had planked salmon with an artichoke sauce, my husband and I the rib-eye. All the entrees were good, but my steak was WAY overdone and the garlic reduction was bitter due to the over cooking. Staff were friendly and very accommodating for my young daughter. Standard kids menu available. I would have given 4 stars if the steak had been better prepared. All in all, we'd go back again. read more

I've lived in the Snohomish Valley for roughly 15 years and I have to say this was a great visit with my wife and two kids and one that is going to bring me back again soon. We got to the restaurant when they were full (this is a very small narrow restaurant). A very nice young kid (I believe son of the owner) found us a small table to hang out while our table opened up. Had a nice beer... Don't think they have beer on tap but I could be wrong. Had a nice 22 oz bottles IPA. Wife a glass of wine and kids had lemonade. The place is cool. The interior art is something painted in the 1950's as it was an exterior brick wall. You can see the tiny kitchen when you walk in the door. I sense fresh food. I see a one page menu with only fresh ingredients. For example, "Bob's Corn Chowder" that I ordered was locally sourced veggies with bacon from our local butcher shop (Kelso's). The soup was delicious and I had to split the bowl with my two kids so the 1/3 of the bowl I tasted was fresh and tasty. Never seen my kids even try corn chowder. They loved it. I ordered the Cobb salad. Awesome. I'll post a picture. Wife had had bistro burger and thought it was tasty. Son had two sliders and thought they were perfectly cooked and great size. Daughter had Jack's southern chicken strips and she said they were delightful. Great veggie or fruit option. No fries so they had to make good choice. Wife and very happy about that. They even give the kids tiny little "jar" of fresh vanilla ice cream after meal. The place is family run and that can be hard to do, but my experience was that they do it extremely well. Professional kitchen staff and great customer service. Will go back for sure. Have lots of things on menu I want to try. read more

Made the drive out here specifically for a celebration dinner and was extremely disappointed when we were greeted with a locked door. My husband and I absolutely LOVED the place! The ambience was perfect. It doesn't get much better than having outside seating right above the Snohomish river, with heaters and blankets!!!!!!! We enjoyed the pork milanese (hands down one of THE best I've had!) and the cheeseburger, which were both great as well as our FABULOUS waitress (Chrissy I believe!). Excellent customer service! We had our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner here. Roger and Brooke were wonderful to work with as we planned out all the details several months prior. The menu they offered was amazing and even included a kid's menu for a few of our small guests and made special arrangements for dietary restrictions. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I don't remember the servers names but the ladies worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed and then even offered to take a group photo at the end. The place is very small and you are going to smell the kitchen wherever you are in it. I sat close to the open door just so I could breathe, but I still reeked when I left. The kitchen smokes up so bad. Also, the wine list is sub par, and they must not sell many glasses, probably due to their terribly inconvenient hours of operation. Each wine I sampled was old. The worst part was the French onion soup some how tasted like - get this- chef boyardee!! GROSS!!! I can't even begin to comprehend how that happened but it was the absolute worst French onion I have ever had. I heard negative things about it but wanted to try it myself. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Sorry, I really was looking forward to enjoying it. Took my wife here a couple weeks ago on a date night and this place was exactly what I was looking for. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable - might go as far as to say romantic. Service was friendly and helpful. Wife's toast points, soup and chocolate dessert were all pretty good. My meal on the other hand was some of the most delicious food I have eaten in a long time. ** I had the short ribs that were on their nightly special and they were so good. The dish was very, very rich but the flavor was just perfect. I think after just about every bite I commented how perfect the flavors were. I would highly recommend this dish if it is available. Again, it might be too rich for some, but try the short ribs here if you get the chance!! read more

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. My sister and I ate on a recent Saturday evening, and because I look so young, I feel like they judged me and treated me poorly for my age. My happy hour salad was a few pieces of lettuce on my plate (see my photo), and we counted no less than 5 hairs in our food. I mentioned it, and while they gave me a percentage off our check, they took my soup away after one bite instead of replacing it, and also took my sister's plate before she was done too. We had to ask for my sister's ice cream, which came with her meal, four times before it was finally brought to our table. Ultimately we felt demeaned and our fun night out celebrating a special occasion was a let down. read more

We hit this place up on a beautiful Saturday evening in September. Perhaps the last one until next July. It was our first visit. Thankfully it was not our first visit to Snohomish because it just so happen to be The Walking Dead fundraiser night downtown. That's right, perhaps 100 or so adults and children alike dressed up like zombies and wandered the sidewalks to raise awareness for a cause that I never really could figure out. They're lucky my name isn't Rick and I didn't have a six-shooter on my hip. Some of these folks were freaky and borderline rude. What does all of this have to do with Roger's Riverview Bistro? Absolutely nothing. Aside from a few of the zombies purposely scaring guests in the big glass front window, Roger's was a hustling, bustling place on that fine Saturday evening. There was a 45 minute wait to eat outside (always a good sign I guess) and it was worth it! The drink selection is great. The alcohol, like any place really, is on the spendy side. So we opted for the clever "Arnold Palmer" offering for $2 in refillable glass containers. We both got the Salmon entree, which came with half a piece of local, hand-picked-that-morning corn and a starch (in our case yummy mashed potatoes which my wife commented probably had cream cheese in it). Everything was great! The helpings were ample and the price was acceptable ($17). A word of caution is that, with salad, an entree, and alcohol, you'll probably be on the cusp of affordability if you happen to be frugal-minded middle class folks like us. Oh, we got the $5 house salads as well (tasty!). Since it was our birthday(s), we got fondue for two ($8) and a locally-roasted decaf (french-pressed) coffee. Again, nice touch Roger's! The service was great and they seemed to really care without being annoying. Water refills were spot-on. There's a story behind just about everything they sell and that's super-cool! Farm to table in the true sense. CONS: Not many. They don't have a paging system if you get put on their list, so you'll need to hang around to catch your name being called. I asked if they could call our cell phone and they politely declined. It's a very small place so that can get interesting, especially if it's cold or raining or both outside because that's probably where you will be. But, it's worth the wait so who cares if you get soaked? Like many buildings built (or at least designed) in the 1800's, the bathrooms are somewhat oddly located near the diners; well, they're pretty much in the dining room. Pray you don't have a "Dumb and Dumber" disaster or everyone will know about it, LOL. Our bill for two was $75 with a 20% tip. In summary, this place shows great promise and I really hope it succeeds and they stick around. So many places come and go, but this place has character and a really cool mission. This is one place you can certainly take out of town guests if you're looking for a somewhat special evening out. read more

This restaurant is a great addition to the City of Snohomish. It's nice to know also that they serve local ingredients. Not only that, the food is really good. My personal favorite is the Cast Iron Seared Steak, cooked the way you order it, it came with mashed potatoes & mushrooms which was really good. My husband loved their Pork Chop Milanese. My favorite dessert is Kentucky Pecan Pie made my the owners Mom. My husband & my son shared the Chocolate Dip Dip..a Toblerone Fondue which they absolutely loved. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. The only downside to this restaurant is it's narrow/small, so it would be hard for us to bring our entire family of 8-10. read more

Ok, this place... First, we went there during the early stages of covid and we were tired of the same places in our area. So we meandered up north to Snohomish from Sammamish. Wandering around the strip, we stumbled upon this place and went in. We sat on the deck and ordered some drinks. We decided to share some appetizers between the 2 of us, and ordered the clams and french onion soup as well as a salad. The clams are amazing. Not just the clams, but the sauce. You need to make sure you either order massive amounts of extra bread or bring your own loaf. There is never enough. Secondly, the soup... outstanding. Definitely one to order. Because we were too busy eating the clams sauce like a soup we ended up filling up on that and the actual soup, we had no room for the salad -which I took home. The only thing I'll say about the food, is the salad had way too much dressing on it. Order the dressing on the side. Drinks were tasty, but in all honesty, I'd rather drink the sauce the clams were in... Can you tell I think the clams were good?! Anyway, this place is a must when you're in the area. And these 2 dishes are an absolute when you arrive. I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as good, but be sure to try these plates. You won't be disappointed. Just don't forget to bring your own loaf of bread for the clams... read more

I don't get why to come here often but I can always count on consistent well prepared delicious food and friendly, prompt service. Outdoor dining is a plus with a river side deck with comfy blankets provided for cozy dining. I recommend the salmon rillette appetizer with the perfect hint of dill and lemon. I recommend Rogers excellent pasta dishes and salads made with care and local ingredients. Bonus- a wide range of gluten free options including pasta and baguettes for the appetizers. Many restaurants offer GF pasta but not many provide a bread /baguette option for appetizers and dips. The desserts are a must try as well! read more
